The faculty is incredibly knowledgeable and really care about the student's success. On top of typical curriculum, they teach them life skills, like how to stay within a budget at the grocery store. They also teach them music, art, and go on field trips monthly. Additionally, they do not give homework but encourage family reading time. And more importantly, during parent-teacher conferences they not only discuss areas of improvement but also what they plan to do to help your child succeed. I can't say enough about the school. I definitely recommend coming by to do a tour and see all of the amazing things they have to offer.

It has so much outdoor space for the kids to play and explore, and the fact that there are visiting peacocks and chickens wandering around just adds to the charm. My son loves bringing home little nature "souvenirs" like feathers and cool rocks and sticks he finds at school, and they've become prized possessions in his room. The atmosphere is really calm and peaceful, which makes it a wonderful learning environment. The small class sizes are another huge plus and allow the teachers to give each student the attention they need. The staff here genuinely care about the kids, both academically and emotionally. I've been amazed at how the teachers, staff and even the other students have really helped my son come out of his shell. Despite being previously enrolled in preschool, he was quite shy and introverted when he first started kindergarten. He's now really flourishing and every day I can see the positive impact everybody at Almondale is having on him. I can't say enough good things about the staff and teachers. They're kind, attentive, and genuinely care about each student. My son isn't just another kid in a classroom; the staff and teachers truly take the time to understand his strengths and challenges and work with him every day to help him thrive, which is something I really value. Almondale Academy has been a perfect fit for our son, and I'm so glad we made the choice to enroll him here. If you're looking for a nurturing, supportive, and academically solid school, I highly recommend checking it out.

We waited one month to see a speech therapist for my 2 year old son at TES. When we called we were…read moretold that we would get an appointment the next week, but a day before the scheduled appointment, we were told we had to wait for another month for the first appointment. We said fine and saw the speech therapist on 11/2. After ONE session, we were notified that the speech therapist was leaving TES so no more sessions for my son. Naturally I was not happy with them wasting all this precious time for my two year old. I urged them to notify my insurance as soon as possible that they had discharged my son so we can find him a new speech therapist that my insurance would pay for. Another month later, insurance company told me they heard no word from TES. Still no speech therapy for my two year old as of today. I called TES and obviously they are avoiding my phone calls (because my husband called from an anonymous number and they picked up right away). I'm sure many kids had a good experience with TES but you just never know if your experience would end up like mine if you choose them.

This place *slow nod* ...I can't even begin to tell you how great it has been for us. From the…read morevery first phone call with Robert, everything has been absolutely wonderful. It all started with a simple inquiry and quickly the ball was rolling for us. After that initial phone call we filled out the quick and easy online application and heard back almost immediately once we were matched with a Credentialed Teacher. A little backstory on our situation, my oldest is academically advanced in all areas. We knew that the school we had him in wasn't a good fit based on his learning style but we figured we would give it a shot since we had been told that in Montessori a child can work at their own pace. This wasn't the case according to my child and it wasn't the case from what I witnessed when I had volunteered. I started researching options and everything fell right into place once I was recommended to reach out to the folks at Visions. Everything has been so smooth and wonderful with Visions that I'm always blown away as to why everyone doesn't do the homeschool thing!? Then I realized "Right! Most people work M-F 8-5!" which does not cater much to homeschooling a younger child. Got it. Well, if someone pulls the "social" card, I have to say that it hasn't been an issue for us. There are plenty of options for socialization during the day with other children via different programs and groups! Then in the afternoon and on weekends all options are available, for example sports and play dates etc. truly, the socialization issue shouldn't even be a concern. Our Credentialed Teacher, Laura Grove is absolutely wonderful. Of course chemistry will be different for everyone but she has been an excellent fit for us. Granted my kid hustles and I'm a bit of a "tiger mom" but I'm willing to bet that if neither of those are the case for you she would still be great. We have been to events hosted by Visions and they are even more enjoyable than the same type of event hosted by other schools! I was impressed and even kind of surprised. Love love love Visions in Education, thus far! Highly recommend.

The instructional environment and staff communication felt strongly opinionated and persuasive. Grading practices appear to be strict in relation to minor errors. Additionally, homeroom does not feel particularly valuable or effective, instead feels negative. If students really prioritize their education while in high school, they should make the rights plans on going to a physical one. The only positive thing I have regarding this school is the Dual enrollment opportunity was good.
