I made an appoint for IPL was told there was even a package. showed up and girl would not do IPL said I wouldn't get results I wanted (have rosacea & pacemaker). I left with a brochure for a different treatment. made appointment for one of them. Came back and same thing happened all over. BUYER BEWARE I originally came to Begin Anew in November 2022 for some filler and botox. Amanda was my technician and I was happy with her work This November I made an appointment with Amanda once again and at my appointment I told her that I liked what she did last year and I wanted EXACTLY the same, she brought up the details of last year and told me she would follow it. She then asked if I wanted botox, to which I replied all products exactly the same as last time, but to add a little filler into my cheeks. I recalled that my treatment from last year was approximately $1800 and that I'd had a little filler in July of this year which cost $525 and so in my mind I knew based on what I'd asked for that I would be looking at a total of $2325 At no point given my instructions, was any pricing mentioned in any capacity by Amanda during my treatment. At check out I was blown away when they proceeded to charge me $4531 - Almost double! I was told they would email me the invoice, and given I had some bruising I agreed, eager to get home. I then called a few days later as I had not received the invoice to chase it up and asked Toniann on reception to send the invoice along with 2022's so that I could compare them. I also told her that I was not happy with the charge and couldn't understand why it was so much higher given I'd asked for the same treatment. I was only sent 2023's invoice (This was in November 2023) and asked that she have Sharon Halle the owner call me. Nothing After leaving multiple messages / voicemails for the owner Sharon Halle, I finally got a returned call from her. She stated that they had forgot to give me a promotional discount they were offering at the time and would credit me with $375 to correct this. I left the conversation requesting that she review the bill and come back to me with a proposal to reach an agreement in a reduction in to the cost. I never head back from her. After leaving several more voicemails / leaving messages and emailing, I finally recieved an email stating there was nothing else they were prepared to do. This morning I drove to their office and had a receptionist print off my last years treatment invoice. After finally having the chance to compare the two treatment invoices I was absolutely shocked and stunned. I was injected with products that were COMPLETELY DIFFERENT to what I asked for WITHOUT MY CONSENT and the schedule in no way reflected copying the year before. I told Sharon I was prepared to pay what I did last year as that's what I asked for, plus what I knew was the cost of a little filler and she flatly denied and said that the prices they offer are very competitive and they run promotions all the time I have today registered a dispute over the overcharging for them injecting me with products I did not give my permission for them to. read more

Firstly, it has been over 6mo since these photos. I didn't want to leave a negative review, but i am just now getting my lips to look normal again and it's been an embarrassing, expensive, painful journey that I hope no one has to go through. I came in to have previous filler dissolved. 2 weeks later, I had less than 1/2 a syringe put only into my top lip. The same injector that dissolved, also injected. The injector requested I come back in one week to see how the filler settled as my lips have always been a little crooked and we added slowly to ensure no overfill was done as I only wanted 1/2 syringe MAX in my top lip. I had to change the appt day the following week. I didn't realize the secretary would put me with a different injector (who does that without request?). I should have left and rescheduled with my original injector as soon as I knew I was with a new injector. This injector was incredibly abrasive and did not listen to any of my requests regarding my chart and history and just kept exclaiming "she knows what she's doing, she has 15 years experience training all over the world". She only answered my questions to her students versus directly speaking to me. I repeated several times I did not want a full syringe in my top lip. She injected the remaining filler (1 full syringe in my top lip at this point) into ONE SIDE of my top lip (the area that is crooked). The photos say it all. I sent these to the owner where they agreed dissolving for free and after demanding a refund repeatedly, she gave me 1/2 my money back on the syringe because somehow, this issue was my fault due to "several appointments," (3) all of which were requested follow-ups and because "we're a business and we have to pay our injectors for their time." The owner did not give a care about the appearance or damage done to my lips due to injector negligence. You can see on other negative reviews the owner does not care lol, and claims to have a "wonderful reputation with clients and can't discuss due to privacy". Avoid this place and do your research. They're very nice til they mess up :) read more

I went to begin anew with a friend for a laser hair treatment. I was blown away by the facility, the cleanliness, and the service. The girls at the front desk were super sweet (one with dark hair and the other a tall blonde) and because I was nervous they reassured me that it was a great procedure and I would be happy with the results. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. I'll definitely be back and I can't wait to try some of their other services. The results look amazing! read more

Had an appointment here at Begin Anew for a few different things - health and beauty related. Everyone was such a big help from start to finish! From scheduling my appointment over the phone, to entering the office, to drawing my blood/sticking me (Amanda is wonderful!) Every step was explained in full detail and with an excellent manner. I originally went in for laser hair removal. I had a small blemish on my face and the technician said she would Zap It with the laser, so it would go away quickly. It hurt and burned so bad, but she told me that was the laser working! By the time I got into the car, my skin was peeling off my face and it started to swell. I contacted the owner and went back in. she told me that they did not have any responsibility for it, that I must've had an infection in my face! they put me on antibiotics so obviously they knew they did something wrong.! I just went back in after two months for them to look at the scar and the disfigurement of my face, the PA told me to order scar treatment on Amazon and they would reimburse me. I just received an email from the owner Sharon, she stated she is not responsible for anything, and that she will not be paying for any of my scar treatment! I am literally disgusted! I have contacted a lawyer, this is not what I went to a Medi spa for do not go there. Do not go there! I will keep you posted on the outcome read more

This place will not make it and I won't be back. Management is not a business person. Too many "no's" and too expensive! Make sure you ask for what it's going to cost you, exactly, before they hit you with it after it's done. Not a professional move on their part. I'm not sure what to think of this place, the idea is there but the fulfillment is still lacking. My regular medspa closed to renovate and asked us to go to their sister location. It's far for me, so I tried a Groupon here instead to see how it went. At first I liked the (even though out of my way) location, cleanliness, and their RN Nicole's sweet and excellent bedside manner. That's where the great ends. I was asked twice to reschedule my treatment due to antibiotics (even though I called ahead, asked and was told to come in). Fine I rescheduled once here because I wanted my procedure to work. I then opted for a full price lab work too, to see how my hormones are doing as I'm starting peri-menopause. I was then scheduled to come review my lab and was offered to do a filler class. We'd agree on a separate time/date. 4days later I was called that the filler would be done after my lab review at my already set appointment. I said fine as long as it's at my same start time because I work in the afternoons. Then the day prior, I was left a message the filler was canceled and my lab review would be at a later time. No confirmation or contact with me. When I called to change the appointment they set without my consent, I was placed on hold twice while they verified what to do. I was told I'd be charged a fee because I was rescheduling less than 24hours. I asked if they could just email my results and forget this follow up appointment. Then placed me on hold yet again, then again hold when I asked why I would be charged if I hadn't set this appointment. I now had to reschedule my work afternoon client yet again. Can't do the filler fine, but leave my original lab review appointment as set and not to your convenience. I went to my appointment (to get my lab results and in hopes the office manager would make it right). Instead I got a nonchalant yea we messed up, do you want to reschedule again? Ah no, I'm here now for the appointment inconveniently set. Maybe provide some kind of customer service for the time and inconvenience to me. Maybe not talk about the clients in front of other clients? Maybe be considerate of my time and money as you are of your schedules, remember we too have schedules. Maybe be sincere about a mess up and not snide. Like I said the idea is there, but something is lacking. I guess I expected better customer service from a place like this. read more
