Located adjacent to the skating rink at Burnham Park in Baguio City, Philippines. Name literally translated to 'live or burning coal'...
Place serves Filipino dishes. Place is nice and clean. Wait staff very friendly.
First time here and had grilled pork belly appetizer, fresh lumpia or spring roll, and palabok (thick rice noodles in shrimp based sauce)
The grille pork belly was tender and tasty, fresh lumpia or spring roll came with a slightly sweet sauce, and the palabok was for a 2-3 person order. It had lots of sauce which I loved.
The food was good and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Had to get a second order of the palabok as we all seemed to like it.
All of these were pushed down with sweet ice-cold tea. I also had sans rival (original recipe for buttery and not to sweet cake with peanuts).
The prices were so reasonable and I will come back for more. If you ever make your way to this city, try them out. read more
