I watched as he left after about 3 minutes. I then called the service desk yo cancel, only to be yold that my original contract had been terminated and that in March i had signed a new 18 month contract (shame on me for taking the word if the tech on only adding a treatment and not reading what i signed). Aptive pest control is expensive, unreliable, misleading and customer unfriendly... save yourself the misery and use someone else!

I have used orkin (through my landlord) at my previous house and was very happy with the results, which is why I wanted them for our new home. After scheduling the initial visit, a tech showed up after it had just begun raining and said he would need to come back to do the job right (rain will wash away outside treatment). This was understandable but I wished he or the office would've let me know that rain affects this so we could have chosen a different day from the start (or rescheduled first thing that morning). We rescheduled for the next business day and he never showed up. No call, no text/email, and I even called the office who contacted him, to no avail. Felicia in the office was apologetic, kind, and helped us close our barely opened account after I called a second time. After calling Terminix and GoForth, Orkin is the best value for the money (not to mention no 12-month contract) but I do not advise this company if you do not have a flexible work schedule. I had to rearrange 2 of my work days for this with no results. I gave 3 stars because the service is very good if it is compatible with your schedule. If I worked from home (which many do now due to COVID) or made my own hours at work, I would probably be a customer.

I told her I wasn't expecting her. She said that she didn't have the right number to call. I called Orkin and told them I don't ever want her to come to my house again! Under no conditions are you to ever treat a customer in such a manner! I am the customer! When I called Orkin to complain, the Manager was very dismissive with me. When I explained what had happened, he just said, "Umm hummm... I will let them know". He didn't apologize, or acknowledge that was wrong, or anything. And they never did get rid of the ants.

We spoke on a Monday morning and he had a technician scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. Loved the quick turnaround. I was traveling on Wednesday but left the house prepared for the technician and a key for entry. They had my phone number if there were an issues, but none arose. Normally they ask for the home being empty for 6 hours. Since I was away, I'd be gone for 24 and let them know they could really blast the place. :) My technician was Tyler and he did great. When I returned, I ventilated the space and followed the after-care steps (mostly regular and routine vacuuming). It's now been a week since the treatment and, best I can tell, the fleas are gone. I'd definitely work with Pest-X again.

I got a call from Sandra saying it had to be rescheduled because of the rain. So, she scheduled it for Saturday, today, between 8a-10a. My husband called me at work and said no one had shown up. So I called Sandra and she told me she wouldn't have rescheduled the Termite Inspection because the rain didn't affect that, and that Cody was running behind for the mosquito treatment. I said, 2 hrs behind and no one calls to let us know and she said we'll I can't help that.
