My mother's washing machine went out, and a technician from another company said it couldn't be fixed. I called Beeson's around 930 in the morning and Mom had a new washer within 6 hours. Let me start out by saying, if I could give zero stars I would! I bought a Frigidaire gallery refrigerator with a third door scratch and dent. I had no problem with the fact that it had a couple of minor scratches and dents on it when I looked at it. I was unable to see the back or the side at the time of purchase. I paid cash and was told that the full warranty was still valid and if I had trouble with it they would bring me a new replacement. It was delivered to my home in a truck on its side and plugged in immediately, which is a no-no. Immediately the icemaker did not work then lights started going out . then the refrigerator was not cooling properly and within less than three weeks we have a dead $3000 refrigerator. Beesons nor Frigidaire are doing anything about it. They say they they're going to buy it back but Beeson's is saying Frigidaire needs to buy it back. I gave Beeson my money, not Frigidaire. DO NOT buy anything from these people. They are no longer the hometown Mark and Bill that use to own Beeson's!! The new owners are The Shuee's. Starting with Beeson's appliances, I went to four stores in Lafayette and had no luck finding my mother a double oven stand-alone range that could be delivered by Thanksgiving. We finally accepted defeat and bought a single oven range. Because I had given Beeson's my number so they could double check with the warehouse, I was surprised to get a call from Tyler at Beeson's one week later saying they had ordered the oven even though I moved on and it was in their store if we were still interested. I cancelled my single oven order and had the double oven install and working just days later. Beeson's is a family business that is customer focused and really delivered for my family. Recently I purchased a washer and dryer from Beeson's. The salesman was professional and listened to what I was looking for in my new appliances. Since they did not have what I was looking for in the store they ordered what I needed. I was told the time line and was notified when it came into the store. It arrived within the time line I was given Then I scheduled a installation date. My new laundry equipment was delivered within the guidelines that I was expecting. I purchase a refrigerator (Whirlpool ) from here fair price but the fresh drawers keep sliding out every time you open it. I started looking around and they sold me a broken refrigerator. The first run around was the repairman claimed he was driving it my house never showed up said he would order parts from photo. A few days pasted and I call ask when they would be the Lady said cosmetic and was very rude when I said the drawers full out when you open the door. I set don't have a Clue when it will get fix. If I could give zero stars I would. I bought a frigidaire microwave, stove/oven, and French door refrigerator with a through the door "ice maker". I put "ice maker" in quotes because it only makes ice for very brief periods of time. I have now had it repaired 5 times by two different services in one year. Every repair guy that's come by says that the frigidaire ice makers are garbage and that the sales reps know it, yet they keep pushing people to buy the things. Furthermore beesons repair service only runs 8am-5pm so if you work you're going to going to use up all your vacation waiting for the repair guys. And each visit actually takes two days because they don't stock any parts on the truck. Tldr they'll knowingly sell you a defective product then make it difficult to get repaired. read more

We purchased a Frigidaire Galaxy Refrigerator last year Model#FGHB2868TF4 for our new home. When it started dripping water from the front door dispenser and from opening for ice inside the frig, we went to Beesons who said we would have to contact Frigidaire. They could not do anything. We did this and after 4-5 service calls we found that this is a known problem for this model and there is no way to fix it. (and has been for quite some time). Frigidaire then stopped taking any calls to their #, A FB post did get a response asking for a private message. Though they said they would take care of this (I told them I wanted my money refunded) they kept delaying and finally send me a message saying there was nothing they could do as the warranty is up-though we have been working on this for almost a year. I feel Beesons knows the problems with this model and yet they continue to sell it. They should discontinue seeing this model. Plus, they are no help when there is an issue. It is sad that a long time business has forgotten customer service and fairness and just wants to make a sale. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! Quoted a price via phone which prompted us to make the drive in to check the appliances out. When we came into the store we were given same pricing as over the phone. We decided to make the purchase, charged it on our card and we were set to pick items up the following week. When we left, the store later called and said they would have to charge our card a significant amount more due to an error on price which was ridiculous!....when we went to pick up our items we wanted to make adjustments and take one thing off due to price going way up. The staff was rude and refused. Basically we walked out with ANY purchase at all and will NEVER EVER go to OR recommend this appliance center to absolutely anyone. Disgusting way to do business!! The appliances installed in my new home construction had minor aesthetic damage. I'm guessing they used floor models or just damaged them during installation. Scratches and such. Their selection for accessories like range hoods and vents was awful. Maybe one or two options. The vent extensions selected were the only ones available. My contractor installed them crooked (which they will fix) and tried to blame Beeson's. Not sure what is going on there except for more unprofessionalism with our builder (Sterling Homes). I would have been happy to pay for upgraded appliances, but we were rushed through the selection process and wound up with some poor quality appliances, that are also mildly damaged. I went to Beeson's for a dishwasher and made it perfectly clear I wanted a one that would dry my dishes. The sales person Bill told me the frigidaire would do what I wanted. He told me the heating element to dry the dishes is hidden. HE FLAT OUT LIED! First day installed I ran it and it had water everywhere, I called and they sent out a service man who told me no it doesn't have a dryer heating element. And Beeson's refuses to take it back! They LIED now I'm out $694, they told me it's working correctly even tho they knew without a doubt its not what I wanted! No stars would be better than even one. I bought an upright freezer from Beeson's last July (2018.) It stopped working this month. I called another repair service which voided the warranty... my bad, my responsibility. But I had to get another freezer so I again bought from Beeson. They gave me a nice deal. The repairman came out last Wed. and informed me about the warranty, then said they would pick up the old one. Then an hour later the office lady calls and tells me it'll cost $65 for the pickup. Considering that I've bought two freezers from then in a year, I thought that pretty cheap. read more

I have read all these reviews and I would have to disagree with all of these.... Maybe they have a different store manager. It was not a "he" it is a "she". I purchased a speed queen washer at Beesons 2 days ago. I noticed it was making a funny noise and it smelled a little odd. I called the store and ask for the manager. She came to the line, I explained my issue. She sent the repairman out the same afternoon. He went back to the store and got the new part. he came back and fixed it at once. I bought an over the range microwave in Jan., had it delivered to a condo I was moving in to in Feb., . Moved into the condo April 16. April 20, the microwave blew my circuit breaker. Beeson's sent a repairman May7, I used it May 9, and it blew the breaker again. Presently, they expect the repair parts to be here around July 26!! The manager at Beeson's yelled at me and all but called me a liar, saying their papers show it was repaired the second time. After her rant, the other gal in the office corrected her that it had not been repaired. I have called Frigidaire three times. First person gave me a complaint number and hung up on me. Next time a recording stated that they had too high of volume to take any calls that day. The third person was polite, but of no help at all, stating there are steps to be taken before replacement or refund can happen. Never again Beeson's, never again Frigidaire!!!! They are pleasant to sell you stuff, but after they get your money, their service is HORRIBLE! I bought a fridge there in june, had to have it serviced 2 weeks later, waited 3 weeks for the part/the service guy to come back from vacation-he fixed the fridge in early july and in early august the fridge broke AGAIN! and Beesons is making me wait another 5 days until they will come service it again-they won't replace the fridge, which is what they should be doing, and they are being completely rude with me. oh yeah, did i mention the 4 gallons of spoiled milk and at least 10 cups of yogurt that went bad in this process? I'll also mention the food poisioning i got from eating (unknownly at the time) spoiled food. And, my cat needs insulin shots twice a day-kinda hard to keep insulin refridgerated without a fridge! I was very impressed with the sales staff and to be honest that's what got my business. I paid 65 dollars for delivery and set up. This is when things went down hill. To the review from CB yes the manager is a woman. I called the store complaining that when using my oven within a week of receiving it, (we followed proper procedure in first time use per the manual and then every time we used it we has heavy gas smell and house was very smokie). I called Beeson's and they could not come to my house for a week to look at it. Now you have just sold a costumer a product and did the install of this product and costumer calls you complaining of gas smell and all you can do as a business is schedule a time a week out is to me unacceptable!! When we cancelled our appointments in order to be available for the only time beesons could give us the service man arrived and knew right away that the range had not been installed properly. He then proceeded to fix our problem. I then called the store asking for a refund on delivery charges. Needless to say the store never responded to my request or did they call and say "hey were really sorry we almost burnt your home down or didn't make your problem a priority because you told us there was a gas smell. It's unfortunate the level of service at this local establishment. I have bought my appliances here for over 20 years and have furnished three homes with appliance packages from this store. After this last experience which was so terrible, they have lost a lifetime client. What's disturbing is after blowing the install appointment, installing a faulty appliance that worked one time and quit and was grounded improperly and could have electrocuted one of my family members, scheduling a repairman to come out, they called and moved the appointment back even further and then was promised a call back by two people to resolve getting a new appliance, which guess again... no phone calls. I took the appliance back today myself and got a refund. When I told the lady at the desk that I will never be back after this experience did I get a "we are really sorry about this sir."? No, I received a "I think we did you a good job." Really? How after explaining to her was this a good job. In my experience when you have an upset client in business it's never a good job. I guess no follow through, blowing appointments, installing faulty appliances, cancelling and moving appointments and not returning calls on days you say you will is "a good job" with this company. We bought all our appliances from Beesons (kitchen and laundry). They seemed like the small, personal store that would give good service. Buyer beware! They are anything but. The rebates they said they would send in for us never came. We've had issues with 2 of the products. The manager was unhelpful with helping us work with the manufacturer. After having multiple troubles with calling the manufacture 1-800 number, I went in to Beesons to ask the manager for help. He gave me a phone number! I asked him directly, "is this going to be the same as the 1-800 number?" He assured me it wasn't. IT WAS! It was a number that directed me to the same automated 1-800 number that I had been calling. It seemed clear after a few unhelpful conversations with him that he wasn't going to do anything. Beesons is a company that will never call you if there is a problem to be solved. It's questionable if the service dept will make an appointment. If you do have a service call, Beesons will not file it with the manufacturer. So, when you call the manufacturer yourself, there will be no record of the parts/service calls with Beesons. I would never buy another product from Beesons. I would never recommend them. read more
