Bee's Tailor is the best, hands down. I had my wedding dress alterations done here, and they were so precise, meticulous, kind, and friendly. The bridal shop ordered material in the shape of sleeves, and Bee's Tailor went above and beyond by altering the sleeves to my arm, attaching the lace to this very delicate fabric, and then attaching the sleeves with snaps and hooks. I was able to remove the sleeves after the ceremony and dance the night away!! I really liked that I had several fittings, and they worked a little bit at a time, to ensure that they weren't taking too much off the hem and that everything fit perfectly. I love Bee's! When I was getting married a few years ago, They altered my wedding dress when no one else would. We had a conversation about what I wanted and instead of a flat out "no" like other tailors, she explained why it would be complicated. Turned out me ordering a yard of fabric from the dressmaker was all she needed to make my dreams come true at a very reasonable price. Recently, I came back to Bee's because I needed a bridesmaid dress altered to accommodate my quickly growing baby bump after my backup plans didn't work. A week before the wedding I brought the dresses in, and we talked through want could happen. After that I made a quick trip to the fabric store. I discovered Bee's Tailor when I was looking for wedding dress alteration shops last year. I had purchased my dress from Town & Country, and Bee's Tailor came highly recommended to me by the owner. Like most future brides, I was initially nervous about the cost and quality of any alterations, but I knew after my first appointment that I was at the right place. The shop is owned by a sweet family who are all very professional and knowledgeable about different fabrics and fit. I like that they take "Before" photos and staple it to your dress when you receive the finished product. I needed my wedding dress taken in, shortened to my length and bustled. The cost will vary depending on what you need done, but I was shocked at how reasonable it was. It only took a few weeks for my dress to be ready after my first fitting, but I had at least 3 different fittings leading up to my wedding for minor adjustments, with the last one being the week of. Throughout all of my fittings, I saw many brides dropping off their dresses here. My dress fit perfectly for my wedding day and I received so many compliments on it. I even had my bridesmaids' dresses tailored here and referred one of my best friends for her own wedding dress. I have been going to Bee's Tailor for approximately 26 years now. They treat me like family and every alteration they have made for me have always come out absolutely perfect. Plus they are very punctual and they do their work very quickly with great precision. Quite a few times I lost some weight and they altered the outfit to fit me and it looked like it was made that way. Now obviously depending on how drastic the size difference is, it's humanly impossible to correct it and still make it look uniform.. They are honest people and they will let you know that information when they are evaluating what you are looking to do with your outfit. A few weeks later I brought in my veil that had a tear in the tulle, they were able to move the lace to cover the hole and had it done in less than a week! I'm very surprised to see the low ratings here. I had my wedding dress altered here, as well as 2 bridesmaid dresses. They did a really good job. One of the dresses had to be completely taken in and reconstructed and they did a great job. It is pricey here, but it's worth it for your valuable items. I brought my work uniforms to a different place while Bee's was closed for their summer vacations and the hems fell out within a couple of months. My work uniforms undergo a lot of wear and tear and get washed frequently so I only trust Bee's to get it right. read more

They do amazing work. I've taken all of my Mardi Gras gowns here over the years. I just picked up my dress today and the alterations were perfect. I lost a ton of weight and had to have the dress taken in all around almost one to two inches in every segment. She only charged $43. Every other alteration person would charge over $100 for an equivalent alteration. I'll be back every year for Mardi Gras. Can't go wrong with that. read more

I went here to get my bridesmaid dress altered. The owner was very nice but the alteration was $45 to take up 2 inches on a dress. Seemed a little pricey to me. I called Monday morning (11/18/2019) to see if they would alter a bridesmaid dress for me and that the wedding was the second weekend in December. I was told "absolutely, please come in tomorrow." I drove from work to their shop and I said that I had called yesterday about getting my bridesmaid dress hemmed and I was told to come in today to do that. There were two girls behind the counter, and then I was told to go into the room to put the dress on. As I was undressing, one of the girls tells me "oh our seamstress isn't here, so can you come back later?" I was on my lunch break from work, and I couldn't come back in time before they closed because of my work schedule. I give one of the ladies my name and phone number to call me about possibly bringing the dress tomorrow (11/20/2019). She reassures me that they will take the dress and have it done by the time of the wedding. I left feeling really uneasy about the whole situation, but I was desperate to get this dress hemmed in a short amount of time. I get a phone call later that evening and the lady tells me that her seamstress is having post-op surgery tomorrow and we cannot take your dress, like at all. I was flabbergasted at her response to me after being told to come on Tuesday, and then getting there, undressing, and the seamstress isn't even there, then to getting a phone call saying they aren't even going to take my dress now. This place is TOTALLY unprofessional and I will never take any of my garments there ever again. I now know why I had a bad feeling when I walked out of there and GLAD that I did not give them any business. Unbelievable!! read more
