My wife an I arrived about 12:30 Saturday 06/26/21. There was no organization, so we simply walked inside and found a table in the back room (I picked up some menus along the way). There were 6 tables in the back room, all were used except one (which is were we sat). We looked over the menu, ordered our food, appetizers and meal,..then we waited. My wife asked for water with lemon (no lemon), I asked for sweet tea - no problem. We noticed others in the back room that had been sitting before we arrived. After about 20 min, some of these people started to get their food. Another 15 min later and more food was delivered to other people that were in the back room. We were a bit shocked, because we thought some of these people were done and about to leave. I started taking notes at by this time. Many of the servers looked like high school kids (just an observation), and they were serving alcohol to the tables. We were talking about walking out due to lack of service ( I had nearly finished my drink by then - no servers came to check on us) when a server finally walked up at 1:30 and told us our appetizers were almost done. I asked what was taking so long. She said that they were short staffed in the kitchen. I saw another customer that had a problem with a drink and asked about it. They said It was not made properly (a mixed drink). Another customer next to me said that they come here many times and expect a long wait. They said the owners were out of town and that they had just expanded a few weeks ago. But they knew the service would be slow. They continue to return because they have little choice in a small town. At 1:40 the appetizers arrived. At 1:42 our pizza arrived with my drink refill. At 1:43 my wife finally got the lemon for her water. So, we sat for over 1 hour before we got our food! The food,.. was pretty good. But the service is dead slow with little origination. Overall - They drastically need to improve service & organization. If you are driving though town and want to get a quick bite to eat,.. keep driving. read more

Was in Versailles for the weekend and there really aren't a lot of choices. So I was shocked when I found a microbrew. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Beers were quite good. Limited menu but the chicken chipotle sandwich was delicious (just ask for extra napkins)! read more

Bee's Knees Brewing Company Visited tonight to celebrate my birthday with my family, we have had a few of their fantastic beer products along with how amazingly nice the people are when they go out to the race track for events in Eldon which lead me to want to drive all the way out to Versailles from the lake to dine at their restaurant. We arrive seat our selves waitress takes our drink orders and then our food orders. We had the pretzel sticks with beer cheese to start and they are amazing, my step son got a pizza and was fantastic i got a chicken sandwich with mac n cheese and my fiancé got a philly cheese steak. My chicken sandwich was good but the mac n cheese was obviously frozen and soggy. My fiancé's phalli's meat was ice cold, we waited and waited the waitress's never check on you, bring back any condiments they offer you so eventually i had to grab my oxygen tank and walk to the bar. I get a look of distain from a different waitress and asked what wrong i said that the cheese steak is ice cold in the middle. SHE TOUCHES THE MEAT then agrees its gold and says she will have them make a new one, 15 minutes later a sandwich comes back with a bite mark where my girlfriend first bit into the icy meat.... THE SANDWICH THE WAITRESS PUT HER FINGERS IN!!!!!. After the obviously microwaved the sandwich it was soggy and falling apart. Finally after 40 minutes or so having never been asked if we wanted another beer or a soda refill while we had empty glasses on the table the original waitress asked it if it was any better and i pointed out how soggy it was and how the meat legit smelled RANCID. So the waitress offered to take the sandwich off the bill which was well and good but didn't bother to ask if she wanted something else and instead returned to my table with the check because i guess only 2 of the 3 people dining get to eat that night in an empty restraint. The icing on the cake was when she was paying the bill the waitress asked how everything was to which my fiancé politely responded everything was great except the cheese steak, and this waitress had the nerve to say to a person paying for a meal at a place that she was made unable to eat there " I guess they all can't be winners" Great beer, pizza and pretzels but questionable meat and cooking standards and flat out rude waitress's. read more

This place has horrible service. It's the apple fest and my wife went up to the bar to get us some drinks. I watched as the bartender ignored her and waited on every man at the bar. Sexist much? The bartender was flirting it up with every man while ignoring every woman at the bar. Unbelievable. My wife and I, as well as the friends we were with, left because we could not get served. Great place to eat just off the square in Versailles, Missouri! We stopped for flights and appetizers, and were very pleased with everything! All of the beers were great. We had fried pickles, boneless wings, and pretzels with cheese for appetizers and they were all very good. We were out of towners, and the owner was friendly and stopped by our table to chat. I would highly recommend this place and can guarantee I will be stopping here any time I'm in the Versailles area. read more

What a great place to stop in and try their crafted brews and the lunch specials. My Sister and I stopped in for a quick lunch and had a awesome experience with their food and drink. 9 dollar 5 meat large pizza was a pleasure just by itself. Nothing to write home about. Drove 25 miles and would not go back. Had a chicken sandwich with dressing. I think it was bottled ranch. So watery my brioche bun was soggy. Finally just used a fork to eat the chicken. Slaw was ok. In their favor our friends enjoyed their pizza. read more

Great little place hidden in this area. Nice atmosphere and good food. Sandwiches are a little small, but filling. Pulled pork is very good as well as the micro brews. The blonde ale is deliciously refreshing and the colony American ale is awesome as well. Awesome place for a date! read more

Not often is there a rustic small town MO micro brewery. Pizzas were good. The Taco pizza had fresh lettuce etc & it was a nice change for pizza. It didn't disappoint served with sour cream & salsa for dipping. The first beer we had was warm; our server didn't acknowledge it was warm & that the cooler was malfunctioning until we asked for a cup of ice just to drink it. Irony was there was a cool sign on the wall saying "cold beer can fix anything". Not exactly a fan of ice in beer though. The second beer we tried was better, & cold. For a small town brewery I give it 4 stars only because they served warm beer & didn't offer us a cold one or at least knocked it off our tab knowing we didn't finish it. read more

This place serves some of the best food in town. I love their pizza, but their French dip takes the cake. The only thing is that the kitchen is somewhat small, so the food can take a little bit to get there, but the outstanding service by Bailey and Hidi makes it well worth it. read more

Had late lunch here today. Overall food and service was good. We had no craft beer so no review. Egg salad sandwich was good but I would suggest cutting the egg parts much smaller and maybe add something to the sauce to make it their own. Turkey club was skimpy with only a small amount of Turkey with 2 slices bacon. No ham or other meat and no cheese. Would give it just average grade, nothing special. Our friend commented on the Memphis, which looked and she said was very good on pretzel bread. The place is worth a try. read more

What a pleasant surprise to find this place in Versailles. Thanks Yelp! Great ale house atmosphere with very friendly servers. We couldn't decide on which draft beer to order so our server brought us a taste of each. Taps change with the seasons. Bottled specialty beer selection was amazing for a small town restaurant but you can still get any domestic beer you might want. Oh yeah, the food was great too. Thin crust pizza was cracker crisp. My husband ordered the Memphis pulled pork on pretzel bun and loved it. We will definitely stop here many more times on our way to the lake. read more

Tried this place tonight , it was less than great . The beer that they brew is , how do I put this to be fair , I thought it was horrible . I had pizza , the thin crust was undercooked and the sauce was sweet . I also tried the cheese cake , which was very jellified and had a odd flavor of lime/ I don't know what . I think this is a great addition to the Versailles area. The food has been pretty good each time I've visited. the pizzas can be a little on the greasy side.
