Pilsnerd, a German Pilsner

Bee's Knees is great local brewery near the Lake of the Ozarks. The beer is flavorful. They brew a lot of the classic beer styles: stouts, blonde ales, IPAs along with some lagers. The service is great. Everyone that works there is very nice. For the food, I think the pizza is the best thing on the menu. All of the appetizers are pretty good too.

Cute little brewery with full bar and full menu. We tried the bbq chicken pizza and it was pretty good. Hand tossed crust was nice with just right amount of crunch. I tried their hazy IPA and while it was not too hazy it had a good balance flavor, light on the hops but very drinkable.

This place is really good. It is a relaxed location. The menu has a lot to offer. Service is fast and they are very knowledgeable in what they offer. We try to visit different brewers as we travel and this is one we would recommend.

I wanted to like this place- cozy and beautiful old building with what looked like appetizing and varied pub menu, but they cut corners in all the wrong places. We looked at the Brewhouse Burger, but you had to pay 25 cents for each veg that you wanted on the burger; 25 cents for Lettuce, .25 more for tomato, and another for Onions, Pickles and another for Cheese- which is understandable, but they also consider Fries a Premium side which again seems a little chintzy. Sides that did come with the burger, were: Slaw, Potato Chips, Potato Salad Mac and Cheese or Apple Sauce, but fries are extra. We did order The Memphis sandwich, which was delicious! Like the burger though, fries are extra but at least you don't need to pay an extra $1.25 to get it as it should already come. I ordered the Bacon and Blue Salad which sounded really good as it boasts of a lettuce BLEND but when it came out was old, Iceberg but there was not a bit of another type of lettuce in that salad. It was terrible. The lettuce was like eating a paper towel, no flavor at all and soggy texture. Its a shame too, to make your own salad dressing, use real bacon and blue cheese and then go the cheap route of Iceberg lettuce by itself. We did take it home for the chickens though. The Fried Pickles were burned on 1 side and the breading was not thoroughly cooked on the other. I ordered a half Sweet and Half unsweetened Tea which, I thought maybe the waitress just didn't put enough Sweet tea in, so I drank 3 inches and asked her to top it off with sweet but still, there was not sugar taste to the tea. I brought this up to the waitress but all she had to say was "do you want some sugar?". Not at all concerned that the Sweet tea had been made incorrectly, nor did she go and check it. The beer comes served in a 12 oz. Jar which is a cutesy touch but does not take the place of a frosted mug. I didn't not order a Bloody Mary be as they only have the cheapo Zing Zang. The service was okay but not friendly and there didn't seem to be a lot of engagement with the food or business. I'm always intrigued when the menu goes a different direction than the typical area fare, so I asked a question about the Greek food offerings and was told there was no particular reason. So, all and all, it isn't a place that I'd wish to take another shot at. I gave it a 3 because there is potential here, but they could definitely change a few things. 12 oz beer, Iced Tea, Salad, Sandwich and Fried Pickles- $37 and change plus tip.

We had two sandwiches. The Chicken Chipotle and the Chicken Bacon Ranch. Both were very tasty and full servings. My friend took part if her chicken home as a left over. We tried two beers, we preferred the Bare Foot Buzz Lemon Shandy.

So I admit I may have a drinking problem. More specifically, a craft beer drinking problem. Working in the area, had me talking to a few locals about good places to go. Bee's Knees Brewery happened to come up each time, so I punched it into Yelp and hit the directions button. Before I knew it, I was on my way to an awesome craft experience. There's a wonderful blend of brews from at least a half a dozen taps, and a hefty menu to boot. The staff was over the top nice, and it was great to so welcomed. I ended up coming back MULTIPLE times to enjoy their flights. I didn't get a chance to try the food menu, but if their pizza buffet is any indication, the rest of the food has to be great. If I ever make it back to the area, I'm definitely stopping back in for some more good beer and good times. I added their logo to my hard hat if that's any indication of my review!

Excellent, excellent service. Food came out quick , and refills were seamless and very attentive service. I will say there were not many people present when we came but still commendable service! Starting with the pretzels, I liked the pretzels a lot, but there was way too much salt on them (I brushed 90% off of it). The cheese was ok. It was warm and tasted like most Nacho cheeses, and it was not very beer-like. The pizza arrived hot and looked spectacular. The Bacon Lover's Pickle pizza had ranch sauce, pieces of dill pickles, bacon, and fried pickles! The fried pickles were my favorite! I wish they had them as an appetizer! Overall, it is a great chill and casual atmosphere with good food and service! I will be back to try other food items and try out the beer selection!

Amazing pizza, unbelievable price for the lake, and the beer is top notch! Will make this a regular stop at the lake.

Great food and atmosphere! The thin crust is the best! Also try the wings with Hart sauce.

Great beer, great food, and the most friendly staff. I'll definitely visit again. We even bought some canned beers to go.

After numerous visits and trying much of the menu, I think this place has some staying power. The…read morefood has for the most part been good. Very rarely have I had a meal here that didn't live up to my expectations. From Pizza to Burgers and everything in between my sit-down experiences have been really good, with few exceptions. The Brews available have been great as well, although they seemed to jettison the growler promotion awfully fast. In my mind a solid piece like a growler bottle is not only a collectible but it's free advertising since the customer paid for it. I'll keep politicking management to bring it back, but I'm not optimistic. They do serve 32oz Beers in freshly sealed cans (from tap) that are tasty and great competition for other spots closer to home for me, so there's that. Interior decor is stylish and memorable, and the multi-tier design helps sequester the bar area from the restaurant without being obvious in doing so. Bathrooms are eclectically designed and clean. They also have an adjacent spot in the same building for live music (think acoustic or small groups...they currently host things like Blues jams to decent turnout) So, now that the good things that carry the place have been listed, here are the improvements I'd like to see: Host and Hostess quality is all over the place. Ranges from wandering space-cadet kids to courteous young adults that unfortunately have a habit of hosing orders pretty badly. The actual wait staff and bartenders are fairly top notch when you sit down for a meal, so the disparity of quality on to-go orders I can attribute to the person taking the order. Toppings missing, order mixed up and someone else's meal were all experienced on to-go visits. It makes me covet the times in my work week I can sit down and enjoy a meal here (happymeter- near 100%), but obv that can't happen all the time. Unfortunately these are the things that can kill an otherwise great location, and the actual products here are *great*.

I had the duck wontons and they were really good, but honestly couldn't see or taste the duck. The spinach artichoke dip was good! The Philly Potato Skins were super dry even after adding sour cream and some of the spinach dip to it. Could have been an off night, though. Still a cool place.

Very helpful and answered all our questions. The food was good but I felt alittle salty which my sister liked. So really it's based on preference. The smash burger was just okay. Fries were good.
