And in the end he never scanned my id or even looked at it for more than 3 seconds. I even took my card around to the people in the store and asked if it looked like me( because I do change my hair and wear eyelashes) however each person even the man that went before me said it was me. I have no clue why he didn't want to service me however he ended up serving me anyways.

I am happy on Sunday again since I use wine when I cook. What is great about this place is that it has such a large selection of wines, mixers, and liquors. No beer; go to a beer store for that -- Pennsylvania law cracks me up. WARNING: DO NOT drink cheap, fruity white wine! It does NOT taste good. It does, however, add some grand depth to cooked dishes.

Immediately as you walk in you'll be blown away by how many wineries we have in the state. And let me be up front too, don't sleep on this place! I know the PA wine stigma, that all wines are sweet. I'm here to say that's not true! I tried Mazza Cabernet Franc and the Mazza Bubbly. Both were excellent. I loved the Cab Franc, it was easy to drink and on the drier side. The bubbly was perfect and for $14 it's such a steal. This is going to be my go-to for bubbles now. They also have a good amount of ciders too so I picked up the 6 Mile Cellars - Chai Tea Hard Cider. There's a ton of variety, you really will be blown away. Plus, there's a freezer for boozy wine ice cream and sorbet! This will be such a summer treat. The building also houses Helltown Brewing and a restaurant. It's a very large space. I cannot wait until we can all safely gather here, it's a fantastic new space!

I guess I haven't been there for a while, because there were a lot of changes! The macaron stand isn't there any more, and they have seats instead. BEST PITTSBURGH WING…read more We were absolutely not expecting this and still can't believe it. We didn't have major expectations but hoped it would be at least a top 5 wing and average meal. It was beyond that The French onion soup we saw online and everyone seemed to enjoy that. We're whores for it so had to get. I like mine a tad bit salty which this was and PACKED with onion chunks and breaded leeks on top. It was impossible to get a spoon fully without any inclusions. My new favorite The Tavern Burger. I'm coming fresh off 9 years without 5 Guys (elite) and this rocked me harder than that. This isn't a stupid smash burger. We got a juicy COOKED PERFECT RARE 8oz patty, topped with sautéed onions, and bacon that isn't crisped to smithereens. I like my bacon medium rare and that's exactly what I got. Then covered in one of the craziest sauces I have ever had, their gorgonzola cream. I could drink that by the gallon The wings.... I have never had a wing itself cooked more perfect in my life. The smoke and meatiness on them was so nailed that I could get 2 dozen plain and still have the same reaction. We got the Buffalo Garlic and Dry Cajun Ranch. These wings don't need drenched in sauce by any means or it would honestly ruin it. The buffalo doesn't ned to be creamy either. Perfect amount of sauce to cheese ration. The dry cajun ranch was a fucking knockout. For how great the wing is I would love to see more dry season options with them Cam got a Tavern Dip. I hate dips. I loved the shaved ribeye on it and horseradish, but I have never been an Au Jus man. Would 100000% eat it without the au jus Then the fries. Always team psoriasis through and through. Not sure if I'm coming off the Five Guys high but their cajun boardwalk style are even better. Get some spicy honey aioli to dip them in. Truly just shocked at how amazing this place is. Right over the bridge and cannot recommend enough going here before a game and walking over. Great spot right before, after and during sports. Very high Pittsburgh atmosphere going on I will be back so many times and absolutely worth going Downtown for
