I've been a client of Tony's for a few months. The haircuts for me were decent, though my other…read moresons were unhappy and stopped going. What ultimately ended it for me wasn't the haircut -- it was the customer service and the double standard. On multiple occasions, Tony ran 20-25 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. I'm a reasonable person and understand delays happen, but this became a pattern. The last time, I had to leave because waiting any longer would have made me late for my next commitment. That's on their end -- not mine. Despite that, I still booked again. One time I had to cancel on short notice because I was on-call and got called in. Another cancellation was done within the required notice window. The next time I booked appointments for myself and my younger son, my appointments were canceled -- twice. When I called, I was told that because I had canceled previously, I should "find another barber." So let me get this straight: They can repeatedly make customers wait well past their appointment time, but if you inconvenience them once -- even within policy -- you're immediately cut off. That's not professionalism. That's a one-sided relationship where the barber's time matters and the customer's does not. I have no interest in doing business with a place that operates this way, and others should be aware before booking.

His brother is the new owner, and was a delight also! They both have a big passion for hair, and the shop is coming along, since they just took it over a couple months ago. Unfortunately, I wasn't super stoked on my second cut, which was done by an intern... so went today to have it touched up... JT did a great job, super quick. Sadly though he charged me what I paid two days before with the intern. Wasn't expecting that... and kind of bummed about it. Will definitely be back... but will make my appointments with Rolo or the owner.

Trying to find a new barber near my new home. This one is close so I thought it'd give it a try…read more It's a little pricey for a basic men's haircut but the location is convenient and the ability to make an appointment helpful. I arrived about 10 minutes early and was seated at my appointment time. From there, however, everything went south and the barber refused to give me a haircut. So here's what happened. My hair is about as simple as one can get. I've worn it the same way since I left active duty in the Navy. Short and parted on the side. When asked what I wanted, I repeated the same info I've shared with barbers hundreds if not thousands of times. "Take it up off my ears and taper it in the back. A little off the top too please. I have a cowlick there in the front that comes in when it gets a little long, so please remove that.. It's pretty long right now" My barber immediately started questioning me on how many inches I wanted cut. My response was an honest, i don't know, i think my other barber used a number 2 but I don't really know. So then he proceeds to ask me if I want buzz cut claiming that's a number 2... Well no... I don't what a buzz cut. Maybe you could just start cutting and then if it's not short enough I'll let you know and you can take more? His response which is now bordering on rude... I can't do that... We're on a tight schedule. So I said I don't really know how many inches and then I asked him if he could still do this? At that point he said no and rudely pulled the smock off of me and my non haircut was over. So tomorrow I drive across town to my usual guy. Where he'll get the same instructions as above and I'll get the same haircut I normally get. For about $10 less too although that's my usual tip. So I can't comment on the haircut because I didn't get one. But I can comment on the rudeness and attitude I received at this business And if they respond here claiming otherwise, I would just remind them who's right when it comes to customers. This is only the third review for this place which I assume is new. Still time to turn it around, but I know I won't be back.
