They worked patiently with him while also equipping us with valuable resources and guidance to support him at home. I especially appreciate that The Mays School brings excellent therapists directly onto campus, so my son received consistent help without the stress of driving to multiple appointments. Ms. Jessi's deep knowledge of neurodiversity has been invaluable. She not only helped my son thrive during his time at The Mays School, but also guided us in finding the right next school to continue his growth. Because of the care, patience, and expertise of The Mays School, my son has made tremendous progress both socially and emotionally. The owner is currently doing so to silence me at this very moment. That's why they have nothing but 5 stars. In my opinion, the owner is unstable and encourages a cult like toxic environment. What they don't want you to know is the school is not accredited and is not Montessori. They are not associated with Montessori in any shape or form. They claim to be inspired by Montessori. In my opinion, not a lot of learning happens here, let alone Montessori inspired teaching. To give you an example, my daughter was writing letters in sand at an age where she should have started learning phonetics and started reading. Once I figured out that she wasn't learning anything I quickly started looking for a new preschool. In the meantime my daughter was being spit on daily by another child. I addressed this with the teacher many times with no avail. I told the mother of the child and because of that my child was expelled. Yes, that was my offense. In the time it took me to go get my child (this was the middle of the day when they expelled my 4 year old) they treated her so horrifically that she developed panic attacks. It took months for her to recover mentally. I know of other people who have had similar experiences. The cult like environment is so intense that they bully anyone who leaves the school or writes anything negative about this school. I would not recommend anyone to attend this school.

The teachers and care givers are wonderful. They treat the children with love, respect and the utmost of care. Plus they're smart, creative and fun which made our kids look forward to being there. There are a ton of wonderful traditions they have that the kids look forward to year after year. The education our children received was top notch. Pre-K at 3Rs more than prepared our kids for kinder. Last but not least, the administration has done a wonderful job of evolving the school over time while still keeping the homey, small school feel alive. If you're looking for a great place to teach your kids to be independent, curious and intelligent citizens, I encourage you to consider 3 Rs!

Everything is geared for and designed around the children and they love it. The teachers are all wonderful and attentive and the communication is excellent. The director, Lori, always responds timely and she is so patient with all of my first time parent questions. My husband and I feel safe and comfortable dropping our baby and toddler off at 3Rs. Our children come home with knowledge to share. They are 3 and 1 and it is evident that they have learned something! They are developing independence, confidence and self awareness. For a final touch, I myself attended this school 30+ years ago. It really hasn't changed much and there is something to say about that. The Montessori philosophy works. The educators believe in it and believe in the children. I would recommend this school time and again and I'm grateful to be a part of it.

My child no longer enjoys going to school and haven't been able to connect with the new teacher with the exception of 1 that has since resigned. 2 of the 3 teachers in Toddler class is no longer there within such a short period of time. . The food is unhealthy (Apple Jacks, ect ) for a 20 month old even-though my child feeding directions show nothing with added sugar. I really want to like this school but with the higher ratios than all of the neighboring schools and multiple undocumented accidents leaving my child with marks and no explanation I just can't recommend this school. $1700 per month, + $150 quarterly supply fee... not bad but not worth it for what you get

Ms. Lois is truly amazing and I finally felt truly comfortable that my daughter was safe and in a nurturing environment compared to previous centers. The class size is small and I like the daily report at the end of the day. They make cute projects to make learning interesting. She enjoyed her one month so much there so I enrolled her in summer camps right after and she completed one full yr Fall '23 to Spring '24 until it was time for elementary school. She made so many friends and still keeps in touch with some even after entering a different school. She gained so much confidence and a great educational foundation that I believe helped her easily transition to kindergarten. I truly recommend this preschool!

It is great for kids, great for moms, and my husband loves how much the kids are flourishing there. I researched many Parent's day out programs in Houston, before deciding on First Friends and I am SO glad I did! My kids are so happy and thriving in this program. The teachers are nice, experienced, patient, and passionate about the kids. I love that I get a daily report on how their day was and the teachers are very communicative. The director is always at the door to greet parents at drop off and pick up and she is very involved. I am just so happy with this program. It is safe, clean, and my kids so happy every time they go, even more they are learning and gaining great social skills. They do so many activities that help with fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and they do so many crafts I'm amazed! From comments I have heard from other Mom friends it's seems that other MDO programs are more concerned with tuition than the kids and parents, that is not the case at First Friends. If you are looking for a MDO program check out First Friends you won't be disappointed! Your kids will love it and you will have peace of mind that they are safe and happy. She ruined my daughter's day because she told her about her bad negative experiences in life and held her for 7 minutes telling her more and more of how hard and bad her life is while sitting at her desk, texting on her phone while at work and sipping from her coffee. The teachers go above and beyond every single day, and it's clear how much they genuinely care about the kids. My children have been incredibly well prepared for kindergarten--not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well. The curriculum strikes a great balance, and the staff does such an amazing job meeting each child where they are. The school has the standard staff to children ratio. More often than not, there seems to be fewer kids (I think) than the maximum. So, each teacher looks after fewer kids, which is an added bonus when that happens. Bright and sunny facility in a secure building. Hassle free pick-up and drop-off with ample parking. The office complex has a large private court yard, which has provided hour of entertainment for our child after school. Compared with other daycare around the neighborhood, this school has longer hours (6:30AM -6:30PM), and fewer days off. This is a huge plus for people who work at Texas Medical Center. We knew that this particular location does not take older kids (3 years and up). If we had to do it again, we will still choose Primrose at Greenway Plaza over others.

For all the anxious parents they send pictures of the children daily.
