WHAT AN ABSOLUTE FOOL. I've passed by this place for years never going in, never giving it a try. Well I was searching Yelp for something in the area and read the reviews and looked at the photos. It looked amazing and I gave it a try. Reality is it is AMAZING! The tots are addictive, the sandwiches (plural) as I've-now been here a half dozen times. Beef Daddy's is definitely a hidden gem on Hall road. A must try if you are around the area or passing by! My boyfriend loves this place so much they know him by name. Both of us are a huge fan of the Cousin Carl. I don't even like Italian beef but theirs is just so good. It's the perfect wrap for any time of the day. When we order carry out, our sandwiches are still hot like they just came off the griddle by the time we've made it all the way home. We've tried a number of different sandwiches and sides from here too and enjoyed them all very much. My second favorite is the Not So Slim Jim. Their fries give Five Guys a run for their money. Their tater tots are so nice and crispy. I haven't had anything I didn't like and I doubt I ever would. The staff is all so wonderful and the food is always amazing. After a long night at the hospital with my fiancé, the only place that I could find that didn't serve food through a window was Beef Daddy's. At 5:45am the owner was already hard at work when I walked in. While preparing what had to have been a a breakfast catering order, we got to talking a bit and boy does this man take pride in what he does; Genuinely caring about both the quality of his products and the customers satisfaction, regarding both value and taste. Admittedly my experience may be tainted as my expectation was different from my experience. I thought this was going to be more like a chicago Italian beef sandwich (eg like Portillos down the street). The gravy on sandwich is like a thin type of light colored beef gravy. I would try something different next time. I didn't love the sandwich but can't complain about the quality or size, and the choice was mine. The people were really friendly which is what caused me to give it 4 stars (instead of a 3+ stars for the sandwich). I'm not sure) but it was seriously yummy. The baby beef daddy reminded me of a yummy sliced pot roast, puke on a nice chewy bun. It was also yummy. Found this little hidden gem for lunch today while debating which "regular" spot to go to. Recently opened hole in the wall, located in a strip mall behind the tire shop. The menu is simple but has so many options. Seems like a family owned and oriented business using grandmas recipes. The staff were so nice and accommodating, making suggestions and giving us samples of the beef to see if we liked it before we ordered it. The prices are fair considering the size of the sandwich. We tried the "baby Beef daddy" and the "hot Italian" shared a few bites and neither of them disappointed. Will definitely add this place to the lunch rotation! read more

Wow. Now that is a freakin beef sandwich. Oh my God, no fat no gristle, nothing but beautiful beef, gravy and cheesy goodness on a super amazing fresh bakery roll. That's the way a beef sandwich should be. The no gristle is what really got me it was a 100% lean sandwich with no surprise bites! The owner was awesome also. Along with the other younger employees working there. Then for the food. The fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy and the sandwich was super flavorful and cheesy. Incredible!!! Not only is the food delicious, with some unique offerings, but their service is truly unmatched and sensational! I stopped by to get a quick meal between errands for my family of 4. They offered to make me something that wasn't on the menu for my picky 7-yr old. We waited a short period of time in our car while the food was being made then they delivered the food to my truck. What's more, one of the workers gave my kids a treat for free! If that's not enough, another worker (potentially a manager or something) came back out to my truck while we ate and offered us a drink for free. Finally, the initial employee came back out a few mins later to take our garbage and throw it away. Did I mention that the food was great too?!?! Came across Beef Daddy's by chance and I am so glad I did. Met the owner/mgr who is a wonderful person along with all the staff. Everyone seemed extremely nice and have customer centric attitude. We got the Beef Daddy and Slim Jim to go... to make sure that the Beef Daddy was too soggy they packed it up with the beef and gravely separate from the bun.... very thoughtful. Both sandwiches were outstanding but my favorite was the Slim Jim. Better than the Big Boy's version. Also, both the fries and the tater tots were the best!! This will become a go to place from my wife and I (and Hondo my dog) They loved my dog and gave him an offer of free bacon... Come-on is that nice or what! read more

The French Dip is the best I've had, the burgers are wonderful, and even the breakfast, which I did not expect is the best I. The area. You can get an omelet wrap and tator tot for the price of a fast food breakfast and this stuff is made fresh with far better ingredients. I've been wanting to try this place for a while. Decided to stop in today. They have a few tables spread out inside, however no one was eating when we stopped. We were greeted the moment we walked in. The guy on the register was super friendly. I ordered the Original Beef Daddy with cheese and my husband ordered the French Dip with cheese. We also got a large order of tots to share. Both sandwiches were delicious. The Original was definitely messy but so worth it. The tots were well seasoned and the one large order was plenty for both my husband and I. I tried the au jus sauce and even that was tasty. The food was made on the spot and was pretty fast. Finally stopped in for a sandwich. Glad I did. Well kinda. The original beef daddy with fries was one of the best things I have had. The gravy the tons of meat and the bun! Perfection!!!! The fries are my favorite thin fries. Oh my! Also purchased a French dip and tater tots for a friend. The inside of the place was like you were at a house backyard nothing fancy at all. Only issue was the price. I know I know it costs for quality and I appreciate that but 38$ for 2 sandwiches a can of pop and fries and tots is a little steep after tip it was 43$ for lunch.
