Only a few of our items made pictures but what a delicious meal. From the service to the food, it was wonderful. The onion rings and focaccia bread apps were lovely. Our meals exceeded expectation. The short rib gnocchi deserves a special shout out for being the most delicious meal. We rounded out the meal with the raspberry donut cheesecake and it was divine. What a great place to have in the QC! A must try. read more

This is one of our favorite places to eat in the Quad Cities! Food, drinks and service are fantastic. The short ribs & gnocchi dish is my favorite. read more

Absolutely love this place! We followed Catie from another restaurant, and she is AMAZING! She knows how to take care of her people. She recommended the Bucatini Carbonara for me, and the Short Rib Gnocchi for my husband, and both were GREAT! She also recommended a wine that we absolutely loved. Thanks for always taking such good care of us Catie! You really are the BEST!!! read more

Excellent food and service! We went as a group of 4 for drinks, appetizers, entree and dessert. The truffle fries were good but the curry mayo was outstanding. The onion rings were so amazing, made fresh with a homemade mild blue cheese dipping sauce. The hanger steak was perfectly cooked and very flavorful with Chimichurri sauce on top. The drinks were all amazing, old fashioned, absinthe cocktail and ray's lemonade were all amazing. The highlight of the night were the steaks cooked to perfection with house butter, filet and New York strip. To top the night off the turtle cheesecake and crème brûlée were fabulous. Was a great night with good friends and excellent food and service. Will return! read more

Horrible food! Horrible service!! TIFFANY S. was absolutely so rudeeeee!!! Treated a special needs child like crap! I watched as I sat at another table! Too expensive for this service!! 10/10 don't recommend!! Go somewhere else!!! read more

Service was great, steaks were so tough we couldn't finish them. Appetizers were mediocre at best salad was horrible. For over 500.00 for 4 we definitely expected better. Next time we'll go back to Steventons read more

They clearly need two bartenders. Sorry if there are slow times that may not support that. When the bar is busy and one person takes care of the whole restaurant it's brutal. read more

Went to Beef and Bourbon tonight and it was delicious! Great ambience, quick and helpful service, and very satisfied. The scallops were a little to chewy for me, but still ate most of them. Also loved the mashed potatoes that were a side for the NY Strip. Recommend trying out this new restaurant! read more

Food was undercooked as we both ordered fish that came to us practically raw. Very disappointed since we were offered only to have it cooked some more. Obvious chef failure. read more

Title: A Promising Start at Beef and Bourbon Chophouse My wife and I recently dined at Beef and Bourbon Chophouse, a new upscale a la carte restaurant in Bettendorf, Iowa that has been open for a short time. Overall, our experience was positive, and we found several aspects of the restaurant to be quite promising. The ambience of the restaurant was one of the highlights of our evening. The decor was elegant, and the lighting was just perfect, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It set the stage for a delightful dining experience. Our waiter, Max, though new to the serving business, impressed us with his friendly demeanor. While he is still learning the ropes, his potential shone through, and his personality added a pleasant touch to our evening. We left the restaurant with smiles on our faces, thanks to the positive interaction with Max. As for the food, my 1/2 chicken dish, set on a bed of mashed potatoes, was undeniably delicious. While I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors, I couldn't help but question if it justified the $30 price tag. Nevertheless, the dish was memorable, and I would consider ordering it again. A standout for us was the side of asparagus with hollandaise sauce, priced at $8. The combination was a true delight, and the quality of the asparagus was exceptional. However, the side of potatoes with tomato sauce also priced at $8 was intriguing but didn't leave as lasting of an impression. Unfortunately, our experience hit a minor snag when my wife ordered a well-done burger with fries. The burger arrived resembling a hockey puck. The burger was overly salted, chard, and lacked the special touch we anticipated, and for a $20 price point, it fell short of expectations. The fries were OK but nothing to write home about. Very basic! Although my wife and I did not push to have this meal comp'd, our waiter Max did try with no success. Most restaurants would not make you pay for a burger in this state. To complete our meal, we shared a piece of Beef and Bourbon Chophouse's turtle cheesecake, and it was the perfect finale. The cheesecake was delectable, leaving us with a sweet and satisfying note to end our dining experience. In conclusion, Beef and Bourbon Chophouse shows promise as a new addition to the dining scene. The ambience, friendly service from Max, and some standout dishes, including the delightful turtle cheesecake, make it a worthwhile experience. While there were a few misses, it's important to consider that the restaurant is only two or three months old, and with time, we hope to see improvements that elevate it to its full potential. read more

Was so excited to try this place despite the mediocre reviews....we love discovering wonderful local eateries about 4 nights each week. What we experienced here was anything but wonderful. We spent a fortune for the Quad cities. It was over $120 per person. Our food seemed cold and pre- prepared. We were shunned upon questioning our order. Because we were enjoying one another's company, we said no worries and left things as they were. We did not want this pathetic experience to ruin our evening. The taste and quality were subpar-definitely not worth what we paid. We would never return and suggest other potential guests go elsewhere! We suggest the Monarch or the Bix! read more

Food and drinks were very expensive for Bettendorf / Davenport -quality was poor at best- (about $135 per person -over $500 for a party of 4 with tax & tip for NOT delicious-beef tough as shoe leather) Staff was not concerned that we were unhappy with the inferior food or truly disappointing experience. Arrived a little after 7 PM -didn't realize the restaurant closes at 9 PM even on Saturday night. Thus we couldn't have a leisurely time. They wanted us to leave immediately ahead of closing. We all agreed we would never return and would suggest anywhere but here. There are plenty of places we can go for $500. We generally like writing excellent reviews unfortunately, this is not the case here. Don't know how long this place will survive? It's was not crowded and now we know why -go elsewhere read more

Ray Ray Ray..... What a great environment...... The food was over the top...... The drinks and extra service was something we were not expecting! I recommend ordering the full course..... Pre dinner drinks, appetizer, main courses with sides!!! Then after dinner drinks..... Your at the top Ray! Can't wait to come back! read more

Went to a wine tasting here! $25 for 15 wines and charcuterie, an excellent deal. The service was excellent and the wines we sampled were great quality for the price. Can't wait to check this place out for dinner sometime! read more

Great food, fantastic drinks! Awesome place for a date night with the wife. We will definitely be back.

Went to this place on a Saturday. Got in at a great time. Food was amazing! I had the Boutini with scallops. Others had steak(special). Service was friendly and attentive. Drink menu could use a little more information regarding the mixed drinks, but as our service person said, that's what she's there for. We did have an issue with our leftovers, but owner graciously fixed issue. We stayed for 3 hours and never felt rushed to leave. Would definitely return. read more

I REALLY wanted to like this place. I have heard mixed reviews. The service and atmosphere were fine, but the quality of food is not on par with the prices. The first time we ate here was for dinner. My husband ordered the Short Rib Gnocchi. It came with a huge slab of meat on the bone. It looked great! We were expecting tender fall off the bone meat, as one would expect from short ribs. The meat was horribly dry and chewy. I tried a bite, and I could not even chew it enough. It was so disappointing. The waitress and the host were very nice, and they did agree that the meat was not tender. They took the meat away and my husband just had the Gnocchi. They did take the price off for that dish, so we appreciated that. I ordered the crab cakes. I have never met a crab cake I didn't like, until that moment. It tasted very undercooked, and I could not eat it. We already felt bad that we sent most of my husband's dish back, so I didn't mention anything about the crab cakes. I do want to say that the wine we had was really good, and their salads we had were delicious. We figured maybe it was just an off night, and so we wanted to give them another chance. We went today for the brunch buffet. I walked in and saw all of the options, and was excited, everything looked great. However, it was another huge disappointment. I tried the make your own eggs benedict bar, and the prime rib. I realized as I was scooping out the "poached" egg, and getting a ladle of Hollandaise Sauce that there was no way this was going to be good. The egg was way overcooked and I don't think it was poached. It looked like it does when I put it in a cup and microwave it. The English Muffin was hard and cold, and the Hollandaise Sauce was tasteless and cold. I asked them if they could make me a fresh one, I explained that these taste like they have been sitting out for a while. They said they would make me a fresh one, then brought 3 eggs (poached I think, although didn't taste like it) to my table. Only the eggs. No fresh english muffin, or fresh hollandaise sauce, just 3 eggs. I do admit the eggs were less overcooked then the ones on the buffet. When I asked the waiter where the english muffin and the rest of it was, he was headed towards the buffet to get me some from there. I explained those are too hard and do not taste fresh, which is why I asked for a fresh one. He was going to have them make another one, but by that point I was just done. I am including a picture of the fresh "Eggs Benedict" that they brought to the table. My husband and I agreed that the prime rib was cold. It was also super rare, and very chewy. When they brought out a new one, I tried another small piece. It was a tiny bit better, but still disappointingly cold and chewy. The corn beef hash was fine, but tastes like the one you get out of the can. Very salty and mushy. There was an omelet station that I did not try, so that probably would be fine, but I did have the scrambled eggs in the buffet which were also cold and pretty tasteless. All in all, both visits were very disappointing. After we got our bill of $78 for 2 of us for the brunch (and the only drinks we had were 2 coffees and one juice) I just felt ripped off. I feel like this place is sub-par food wrapped in a pretty bow. read more

Beef + Bourbon Chophouse - I have never seen poached eggs look like this. - Steakhouses Near Me - Bettendorf, Iowa

Celebrating wife's birthday. Very good atmosphere. Wide range of alcohol/wine and bourbon drinks. Server was very knowledgeable and answered any question we had about food. Food was excellent. Not for young kids in my opinion. Prices range from 20$ to mid 30$ with prime rib hitting 50$ but well worth it. Overall a very nice place to eat at. Highly recommend and will be going back for sure to try other dishes. read more

Ambiance and service was good. Food was not, especially for the price. I had the spare rib gnocchi, which was tough as leather. Should have fallen apart with a fork. I had to saw it with my knife. Disappointing for a high end steakhouse. read more

Always enjoy our experience at Beef & Bourbon! A few weeks ago we were seated at the bar and our son enjoyed the banter of the bartenders and the amazing mocktails they made for him. My husband and I went last night (Friday). The place was packed! I'm glad we had reservations, as we were seated right away. Love the warm cozy atmosphere and warm friendly staff from the moment you walk in. Our server, Tiffany, was amazing: friendly, attentive and knowledgeable guiding us through our lovely dining experience. The Beef Medallion Bruschetta appetizer was so delicious, hard to choose which spread was our favorite! We enjoyed our appetizer while chatting and sipping on our cocktails. I special ordered an espresso martini which was made to perfection. Hubs enjoyed his blackberry bourbon. We ordered the 16 oz ribeye and 10 oz sirloin entrees with a cold crisp wedge salad. They were SO delicious and favored just right. Entrees came with amazing garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. So much food! We boxed up what we couldn't finish... lunch today! This was our first experience at Beef & Bourbon Chophouse, we loved it, and will definitely be back! read more

Had dinner here for the first time on NYE. It's a notable addition to the Quad Cities if you are looking for a nicer steakhouse experience. The atmosphere is very inviting and the food was delicious. Our server was very attentive and engaging. Would recommend giving it a try. read more

In the Quad Cities, new restaurants aren't commonplace. So, with a couple of friends, we decided to try our luck at Beef and Bourbon. Warm and friendly atmosphere, attentive service and an impressive list of different bourbons. Just a minor quibble with the names of the cocktails, perhaps a language barrier issue? One of the cocktails was called "Absinthe make the heart grow fonder", and for an average Frenchman like me, absinthe is an aniseed-flavored alcohol that clouds in water. I must admit I was a little disappointed, I'm still looking for absinthe. I ordered a pork chop on the bone, specifying that I wanted my meat pink. I know it's not customary here to eat pork cooked pink, but I've been eating it for over 60 years without any problem. The waiter took note without being surprised. It was only later that the manager came to see me and told me that the pork chops were sous-vide at well-done meat temperature. He told me to try it, but that he'd be happy to change the dish for me. This was just so as not to hold up my friends' dishes. The chop arrived, but of course it was way overcooked for my taste. I told the manager who had returned that it was okay and that I'd enjoy my wine, a Shiraz which, this time, had a good mouthfeel. The manager forced my hand a little by suggesting a change of dish and recommended the rack of lamb. I said yes reluctantly, knowing that here too I often have problems with the temperature of meats. I like them more than rare so I often refrain from ordering them for fear of being disappointed. But here I have to say that a miracle happened. This rack of lamb was the best I've ever eaten. Cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, much better than some I've eaten in many French restaurants. So really delighted with this establishment, which I can highly recommend. read more

poor service, 35$ for 4 scallops and pasta that tasted like bacon. honestly gross would not come back. automatically made us tip 25% and the waitress asked if we wanted to tip extra. she wasn't even the one who brought out the food. cheapest thing on the menu was a 20$ burger. mediocre at best. 200$ for just our food and some drinks. did not even get appetizers. read more
