This was one awesome brewery, though I tend not to be all that surprised these days when it comes…read morearound to visiting craft breweries. Yeah, this place was actually pretty good, and they certainly had a great selection of beers available that happened to be on tap. In fact, I found the service to be pretty friendly, and the atmosphere to also be quite relaxing. Oh, and the beers, well, the beers were pretty amazing as well, particularly since you could also get a mix and match, which I thought was pretty cool.

For its time and place, just what we needed. We stumbled…read moreupon this place while exploring the Cute little town of Beechworth, Victoria. Down an alley into the yard with picnic tables and into the barn with a nice bar and two levels of eating area. As in keeping with Australian custom, one has to order drinks and food at the bar. Drinks you Carry back, food they bring out when ready. Numerous pizzas, sandwiches, ribbs...what you'd expect at a brewpub. We had two different brews, mine a nice IPA, wife's a Pilsner, and were both happy. We also had a pizza with tomato sauce, apples, rocket greens and Blue Cheese crumbles which was tasty. Also, the thin crust was nicely crisp and easy to pick up and eat, unlike any other pizza I've had in AU. In addition to lots of seating inside there was plenty outside, some covered by umbrellas, some open. There was a large children's play area which was well attended. The clean Rest rooms were M, F & Handicapped. Highly recommend. Humorously, they list "Italian Style Pizza". I wonder what style pizza they are differentiating from? I suppose Hawaiian or something? We do have Greek style in RI but... sorry, just felt a need to say that.

Had a reservation and took them a while to figure out where to sit us. Waited 40min for our food…read more Had Fettuccine Seafood marinara and was undercooked, napoli was bland and over peppered. It had limited seafood as well. Pizza did not have all/correct toppings. Waitress asked my partner what he'd like to drink but not me. And when I ordered a second drink, they forgot it.

Very impressed with this restaurant. The dreary weather put a damper on the day but all was…read moreforgotten when I stepped into Downtown. A lot going on with street scape walls, differing tables and vibrant coloured cushions, but it tied together seamlessly. Flowers on tables and surrounds are often lost on me but the use of them here is tasteful and casually elegant. Outside seating available but less inviting due to the bad weather. Now to the food. For approximately $60 we ordered 2 lattes (one caramel), a coke, chips with aioli, pasta carbonara and a seafood pizza. The chips were a hefty serving (and ultimately went unfinished) with my mum remarking that the aioli tasted homemade. Always a winner. The pasta a good lunch time serving. Not too big or small, just right. My seafood pizza was easily the best I have ever eaten. I loved the 2 large mussels served atop a bed of rocket with side of lemon. The meat filled the shells. No shrivelled mussels here! The rest of the pizza was not bombarded with toppings, allowing you to appreciate the base with mild seafood and olive flavours. $19 for a seafood pizza is unheard of; I'm used to paying $25 or higher. So well done on providing a superior pizza at a price I'd be happy to pay over again. To compliment the food and venue were terrific staff. Family run perhaps? Our waitress was lovely and took our elderly guest 'admiring' what turned out to be her husband in her stride.
