This was one awesome brewery, though I tend not to be all that surprised these days when it comes around to visiting craft breweries. Yeah, this place was actually pretty good, and they certainly had a great selection of beers available that happened to be on tap. For its time and place, just what we needed. We stumbled upon this place while exploring the Cute little town of Beechworth, Victoria. Down an alley into the yard with picnic tables and into the barn with a nice bar and two levels of eating area. As in keeping with Australian custom, one has to order drinks and food at the bar. Drinks you Carry back, food they bring out when ready. Numerous pizzas, sandwiches, ribbs...what you'd expect at a brewpub. We had two different brews, mine a nice IPA, wife's a Pilsner, and were both happy. We also had a pizza with tomato sauce, apples, rocket greens and Blue Cheese crumbles which was tasty. Also, the thin crust was nicely crisp and easy to pick up and eat, unlike any other pizza I've had in AU. In addition to lots of seating inside there was plenty outside, some covered by umbrellas, some open. There was a large children's play area which was well attended. The clean Rest rooms were M, F & Handicapped. Highly recommend. Humorously, they list "Italian Style Pizza". I wonder what style pizza they are differentiating from? I suppose Hawaiian or something? We do have Greek style in RI but... sorry, just felt a need to say that. read more

We came here on recommendation from our motel. It's best to make a reservation for dinner as its gets very busy, especially weekends and school holidays. Overall, the food is fantastic with a few options for kids. The pizzas came out quickly. There's a beer for everyone! Staff are friendly, they don't lose patience when asked a million questions by day trippers and tourists. We will be coming here again read more

Hidden, don't walk past it. Certainly a rustic brewery that I think was build in old coach sheds. Out the front are lots of tables for drinking in the sun. Really tasty beers on tap, that the brewers will happily talk to you about. Order a pizza to go with it. Delicious country treats. read more

We love this place. Playground for the kids. Beer and food are amazing. It is an annual pilgrimage that would be more frequent if we lived closer. Our must haves include the beer tasting paddle if you don't know your favourite, or a pint of your favourite beer. Then we always have the sausage pizza, plus a couple of others. Everything is delicious! They are well known for their pretzels, but they have always been sold out. Baked at 11 and 4, so that's when to be here if you want to try. read more

Beechworth is a pretty little town & the brewery is a must visit when you're in town. This place can get packed & loud (particular if you're near the kiddies play equipment) but it's easy to see why as the beer, pretzels and Pizza are all brilliant with an extensive variety of both. Fantastic pizza! Honestly one of the best pizzas I've eaten. Come here twice when I was in Beechworth for a long weekend. Atmosphere is busy and bustling. Filled with friends and families and kids. The brews were delicious- loved the golden ale and pale ale. Pizzas were thin based, topped with fresh local produce and cooked to perfection. Must try the apple and blue cheese pizza, the sausage pizza and the prawn pizza. They have gots lots of outdoor seating as well as inside and everything is made for groups which is nice! read more

Really enjoyed my time at Bridge Road. The spicy pepperoni pizza was fantastic, the pepperoni was genuinely spicy which was a pleasant surprise. Tried several beers which were all great. Atmosphere inside the old barn was cozy. Service was slow and could be improved, and some of the staff behind the bar were clueless about the different beers and menu items. Fantastic place for kids. Great pizzas and fast service. Awesome beer selection tried a good mix. We had a large group of 20 and booked well in advance. Service was really great. Happy staff and quick smiles. Great way to end a day of wineries with 8 kids :) only blemish was an angry tall girl serving at the bar that wasn't happy. Yup, have to give 5 Stars. The Pizza we had Twice was World Class. The Paddle of Beers for tasting was diverse and a lot of fun, as well as tasty. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Prices seemed OK and the dining area was rustic but serviceable, just as one would expect in an historic old country town. We just loved it and will be back! read more

You just can't go to Beechworth and not go to the Brewery. Dropped in for a cheeky beer, delectable as usual. Wanted to stay all day, the pizza was calling. If you want great beer and amazing proper traditional pizza in a relaxing setting can't beat Bridge Road read more
