The friendly staff and good service keep you satisfied and not wanting for anything. The coffee is also good and if you can't stop for a meal grab a takeaway pizza it still great. Make sure you book if you want a table as it can be very busy and you may be disappointed or will have to wait a while. They are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday and I usually book at least a week in advance and even then in the festive times of year it's hard to get a table. Give it a go you won't be disappointed it's a bit of a drive from Melbourne but there are plenty of other places to see and things to do if you make it a day trip.

The pizza base is just perfect. The best I have ever had. Just amazing. The little ice cream stand inside is perfect for the kids and the atmosphere country style. Kids can play outside in adjoining park and service is quick!

We booked a dinner for 2 at the Winery Kitchen on a rainy weekend away in Seymour and we couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable dinner. Staff were friendly from the get go and the atmosphere really relaxing and casual. The inside has simple decor and the restaurant is round with seating outside as well which seems perfect for the summer. The highlights: Pizza - heaps of prosciutto and rocket and the base was crispy but thin and soft enough that I even ate a few crusts! Apple pie crepes - the ice cream was really creamy and we really wanted to ask for another bowl of it by itself but actual crepes were great too. Tiny bit crispy on the edges with perfectly soft cinnamon apple on the inside. The great thing is heaps of the ingredients are freshly supplied from their garden out the back or from local farmers. Just cos they're up in the country, doesn't mean they have to serve seriously horrible pizzas - THERE'S NO REAL EXCUSE... 1. The Capricciosa was almost entirely made of that cheap and nasty rubbishy pretend 'ham' - pretty revolting - we couldn't eat it... Where's the salami..? Just a few thin little slices would have done..? Hey, that would have suited us just fine..? 2. The Marinara topping comprised a few twincy tiny cocktail prawns, one or two bits of anchovy and a few pieces of tasteless pitted black olive - that's it..!! - very poor effort..!! They need reminding that baby clams come in tins, and salmon, so too crab meat - Any of these might have added a little flavour..? A little texture..? And what about mussels... calamari.., fish fillets... Wow...!!! You can buy them frozen...!!! At the supermarket, if you've run out - there's a huge new Woolworths there - open almost 24/7...!!! I ordered twelve pizza (four kebab pizza, five barbecue chicken pizza and three hot and spicy pizza all of which were good pizzas) for a party and upon pick up which only took them fifteen minutes to cook. A very impressive amount of time. The owner of the store gave us two large drinks and two garlic breads as a reward with no charge for free. Which is probably a bribe that hurts no one and every pizza shops and businesses must do. They also asked us if we needed any help to get the pizzas in the car which we didn't. Anyways those kind of briber equates to a great customer service and one that will take me back many times in their shop again and again. Makes you feel appreciated and welcomed. Not to say that there pizzas are expensive, they reasonably priced pizzas and even though they have a monopoly within some part of the community they have managed to not abuse their power.
