Love this unique storefront in downtown Daniel Island. They offer a variety of juices, smoothies, and bowls. If you're looking for fresh ingredients and a bright atmosphere this is a great spot to try! We ordered the BAB açaí and poké bowls for lunch. Service was decently fast and staff were friendly. The building is full of unique art pieces for sale which I thought was a great addition. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is the price to portion ratio. They make really Fresh fruits and highly helpful - this was first time visit - really enjoyed the visit - well elite at High end - well sophisticated , technological advanced - all in one go - the way they made all the fruits and what not i can't say more words- very helpful - entire different kinds of Juice place , free yoga at beech, smoothies and nice bowls and it was really good and tasty -there was not much sugar for type 2 diabetes- really healthy only .. If you ever find yourself wanting a good smoothie while in downtown Daniel Island, Beech is the place to go. My favorite smoothie there is the Sperry Berry, which has strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, banana, açaí and coconut water. It has a sweet, tart-ish flavor to it. If you're not in the mood for a smoothie, they have a selection of coffees, açaí bowls, toasts and more. I find their avocado toast quite tasty. The service is fast and the employees are always helpful, and while you wait for your order, you can look at a selection of artwork on the wall, all of which are for sale. So disappointed with this version of a poke bowl ‍ to keep it simple and for those who appreciate great poke, here are the cliffs notes: 1) they use long grain rice instead of sushi rice so the texture tells you "rice & gravy!" But your taste buds tell you..... "I'm confused" 2) seaweed salad was super fishy (I just removed it and kept trucking along) 3) the tuna had already began to chemically cook from the acidic veggies bc they weren't plated correctly 4) avocado was given in large 1/4 hunks which isn't a huge deal for some people but just an fyi 5) portion size is RIDICULOUS for the quality they're offering I hate leaving bad reviews but for the love of poke I couldn't keep my mouth shut lol (plus there are plenty of really great poke spots in the area) read more

If there's a vegetarian option I will always choose that but their chicken spicy bowl was calling my name as well, so broke protocol and got both bowls: spicy chicken bowl and the black bean bowl. I've been to the downtown location several times and have always loved it, but parking downtown is challenging when grabbing a bite on the go. Beech on Daniel Island is located in a brandy new building, is an easy on/off from 526, close to the stadium and has oodles of free parking. Açaí bowls, poke bowls, cold pressed juices, smoothies, coffee, bites AND locally sourced ingredients. The kale citrus slaw base for poke bowls is divine! Having tried nearly everything on their menu, I have NEVER been disappointed! The space is set up with large community tables, individual tables and a comfy corner. I walked in to buy a refreshing juice. As soon as the man at the counter saw me he said "We do not allow dogs here." To which I replied "He is a service dog." He skeptically replied "He is?" And looked for poof on his vest. I grabbed my juice moved back to the counter where he proceeded to tell me that "He looks too friendly to be a service dog. Most of them are trained to not be so friendly." I do not know what he was basing that assessment on because my dog was just laying at my feet while I decided what I wanted and heeling at my side when I went to the register. I brushed it off, he went on to tell me that "Most 'professionally' trained service dogs are trained to be so unfriendly that they would tear your eyes out if you looked at them." his exact graphic words. Which is alarming because that is not at all the experience I have had with any professonally trained service dogs and it specifically against the legal code for a service dog to be aggressive. It was a brief but hostile interaction. I really want to love this place because I live on DI and I'm a poke FREAK. I get poke for the most part once a week. The place is nice but the poke is lacks it's asian/Hawaiian roots. The ingredients taste ok but I would recommend the management to go to Poke Tea House in Mt Pleasant or Poke Bros on Long Point to get some tips. The last bowl I had from Beech the rice was totally undercooked/hard and clumpy. I would recommend upgrading the rice quality. I would also love to see masago and other ingredients instead of carrots and pickled everything. More toppings! I hope management is open to tweaking what they offer in these bowls. Additionally it's unfortunate that you have to pay extra for most of the sides. I understand on some items like seaweed salad but half the menu is extra on an already expensive bowl. read more
