My daughter and her boyfriend ordered me flowers for my birthday $75. I understand that internet pictures are not exactly what are ordered (they are always smaller bouquets that you get) but this is ridiculous. The flowers looked NOTHING like the picture and they were dead. My daughter was so upset. She requested a refund and was told 30%. BS. Picture below. We were embarrassed by the flowers purchased and supplied by Bee Flowers for my uncle's funeral. The flowers were the wrong color, smaller in size and even arranged differently. We expected the flowers to appear as pictured on their website. They looked nothing like that picture!!! In addition, the print on the card was so small, a person would need a magnifying glass to read the note! I did email Bee Flowers about my concerns but received NO reply. I would NOT recommend Bee Flowers for any important event. Awful. read more

There was a delivery mixup and when my mother finally received her bouquet, it may have impacted the quality. She did not complain but the next day they sent out another bouquet to be sure she had the best floral experience. The flora design was attractive and creative. Well this place does not make it easy to support local business that's for sure. I like to have some fresh flowers around the house...Usually I drop $10-$15 at the evil Shoprite conglomerate, so I figured I'd shop local instead. Well, whoever said they think this store is a front for something else, they're totally right. I honestly don't think their main export is flowers. There are hardly any in the store, for starters. I asked for a dozen roses and was told the price was $38. Granted I don't shop much for flowers, but this seems really high. And these roses are the smallest I've ever seen. They might actually be like, a different species of rose, because I've never seen such small, underwhelming roses. I shouldn't have bought them once I heard the price, but I didn't want to look like a cheap ass and walk out empty handed :-/ Three stars is super generous here. The owner was nice enough, and ironically enough talked me out of buying a potted plant as he told me they do not survive well in the summer. Maybe they do a better job on arrangements they deliver or have advanced notice on? I'm not sure, but this kid is headed back to shoprite once these things die. read more

Not from the area but my wife tried to order flowers for a family member that had just given birth that lives in Philadelphia. Order was paid for and was set to be delivered when we got a call that they don't deliver to that hospital. We asked them to deliver them to their house instead and they said they would. Get a call a day later that the house wasn't in their delivery area so they wouldn't be delivering them. When we asked for a refund, they decided to charge 20% fee because they had already cut the flowers so now we are out $25 because they messed up. It's one thing if the address is outside your delivery area and you have it listed or actually tell people, but your website says "free, same day flower delivery in Philadelphia, PA and surrounding suburbs. Horrible customer service and a waste of time. read more

I stopped here on the way to visit a friend in the hospital to pick up flowers I ordered in advance. The owner waited for me right up to closing time and was very nice and accommodating. And above all, the flowers were beautiful and were very much appreciated by my friends. read more

I needed some balloons filled with helium and after unsuccessful trips to various dollar stores and the unpleasant Party Store on Aramingo Ave, I called Bees Florist. They answered the phone and the friendly owner helped me right away. He was able to fill two balloons for my son's graduation. Mom and Pop type florist right in the neighborhood. Warning: The Website for these guys is clearly a whole separate business, probably a national company that wants the face of a local mom-and-pop shop. I don't know what you get when you order online, but it certainly isn't from this shop. I walked in and it was as bare as a bodega front, with a couple of loose flowers here and there. The guy working there didn't know anything about the online arrangements, and didn't have anything close to the website. At one point I asked about a dozen yellow roses. He had five loose ones. "You want? You want these?" "But you advertise a dozen." "You want these then?" I don't know this shop's actual business is, but it sure ain't flowers. read more

Was glad I had to stay late at work that day or I would not have gotten them. They were delivered past promised time. Then, before I even unwrapped them, I noticed several tulip stems were broken. I knew my husband, who sent them to me, would be disappointed so I called the shop. The woman was rude, did not apologize, but finally offered to send another bouquet. She said "When they left the shop they were fine." Since I will not be home for the next week (surgery) I didn't want another bouquet. Very disappointed in flowers & especially the owners attitude. I ordered a bonsai arrangement yesterday afternoon and was told it would be delivered today. However, at 6pm last night, I received a call that my order was not available, nor was anything similar. The best that the business could do was "see what's in the warehouse tomorrow morning." Obviously, it was too late for me to order elsewhere. Today, I received a text message with a photo of something entirely different. When I pointed out that "what is currently available" does not resemble at all what I had ordered, the text message I received back was ""okidoki." While I appreciate the attempt at customer service and problem resolution, my birthday wishes will now not get to the person in time, and a "big house plant" is the opposite of the bonsai I ordered.
