My family and I walked past this cute shop while exploring Solvang. We didn't purchase anything, but I loved seeing all of their items. From different honeys from around the world, to beeswax candles to a bunch of Winnie the Pooh items. It was very cute! The inside was also very spacious with different couches to sit on. They even had TVs on with bee videos playing which I thought was a nice touch! Pricing was high, but it's also a tourist place so the honey was more expensive than I'm used to. Overall, cute store, but no one greeted us when we walked in or while we were walking around - I usually have no interest in buying anything when that happens. The staff were more busy talking amongst themselves, rather than seeing if customers needed help. Check them out, but not sure we'd be back! read more

I visited Bee & Co in Solvang for the first time because I heard great things about their products. I was genuinely excited to look around and capture a few moments of the shop on my phone. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. While I was briefly recording, an employee approached me and told me I couldn't film because it's private property. I immediately respected that and turned off my video. However, even after I complied, he continued to insist that I turn off my phone completely and threatened to call security__despite the fact that my phone was already off. What upset me the most was not the policy itself, but the way I was treated. I remained calm and respectful, but I felt singled out and spoken to in an unnecessarily aggressive and dismissive manner. Being threatened multiple times after already complying felt humiliating and uncalled for. I came in as a potential customer, excited to support the business, but left feeling disrespected. I hope management addresses how customers are approached and spoken to, because no one should feel uncomfortable or unwelcome when simply visiting a store. They tried the eye cream scam mentioned in other posts. He was aggressive and kept lowering the price and throwing in additional items. The eye cream did make a difference and was supposed to work for 7 days. The effect was gone in six hours. Do not fall for this scam! read more

It is mainly honey paraphernalia, so think artisan honey goods and specialty honey from all over the world. It is not cheap, but our loved ones are always worth it. We were gonna buy something but because we felt like we were somehow treated differently and ignored...it upset my dad so much that we decided not to purchase anything. As I was walking by this store, I made the mistake of letting a sales person hand me a skin care sample and engage me in conversation. He was very high pressure. Got me to sit in a chair and let him smear some kind of stuff under one of my eyes. Tried to sell it to me for $150, while supposedly the same product costs $3000 online. Obviously something wrong with this picture. He kept asking me about my personal life (until I told him to stop). I told him I'd think about it and his response was the price will be higher tomorrow. I stopped in this store while visiting Solvang and before I knew it the owner (Charlie) had me try a crazy expensive eye product (avinichi) that stopped working after 24 hours (he tried to sell it to me by saying it would work 7-12 days). I have several problems with my experience at this store: first, he never asked my permission to put product on my face (have you ever heard of consent, Charlie??), he didn't tell me the price until AFTER it started working ($500 wtf???), AND third, he told me my natural face looked like I had a black eye without this product...what the hell!?!? Honestly I probably would have bought the product if it weren't for that comment because it did work really well at first so maybe I should be grateful he said something rude that turned me off to wanting to buy anything from him. But what kind of person tries to sell something to someone by TEARING DOWN their natural appearance???? It was honestly very hurtful and turned me off to ever going to this store again. read more
