If I could give 6 stars I would! Frank and his team were A+ all stars right from the beginning. I custom ordered the sofa that Frank has as a floor sample, and was able to customize the dimensions so it would fit in my small living room, and even included a queen sized pull out. Brand new L-Shaped sectional with pull out for $1350 out the door-unheard of deal! Frank was very communicative with me and called me with any changes from the manufacturer along the way. I had already sold my exisiting sofa when I heard delivery of the new sofa was going to be 5 days late. Frank was kind enough to lend me a floor sample love seat since I had family visiting in town and was entertaining during this short period. Sweet little place, no frills but big on value! Came home with a bed that the very fancy hotel at the west end of Goleta regularly purchases from them--for about the cost one night at that hotel! I really liked learning that their mattresses are made in Los Angeles, so customers can save the high costs of importing. Service was friendly and direct. Frame included in my price. Just went and purchased a mattress from Beds 4 U and I was impressed how much furniture they fit into such a little space without it feeling too cramped. They had a great selection of mattresses and the man (I believe he was the owner but I didn't catch his name) that helped me was so kind. Since I went on a holiday (Presidents' Day) it was even better, no sales tax and free delivery. Also, most of the mattresses were 20 or 40% off. The prices were already very reasonable which made it hard to choose which mattress would work for me but, I ended up choosing one the employee recommended and I can't wait to have it delivered and to enjoy the comfort of my new mattress with many sleepless nights ahead. read more

Frank at Beds 4 U is one of THE NICEST, KINDEST, CARING, HONEST, business owners that I've dealt with in a long time! Little back story ... I originally ordered a mattress from Sears (I will never do business with Sears again) to be delivered to my daughter attending UCSB who just moved into her apartment. Long story but Sears called the morning it was to be delivered and stated they needed to reschedule, no reason given. After the total incompetence and run around from Sears, their customer service employees and the way they operate, I decided to find another mattress. While driving back to LA I googled and found BEDS 4 YOU in Goleta. Frank answered, I told him of my problem and he offered up many mattresses that could be delivered free of charge (locally) in the morning . My daughter went to his location, found a better quality mattress at a lower price than Sears, called me for payment over the phone ... and done! Frank called my daughter this morning letting her know that the mattress she bought would not be in today as expected (out of his control) but immediately gave her the option of an upgrade at no extra charge to be delivered as promised this morning (: This is something that he did not have to do, but it is very apparent that he values his promises and customers! The mattress was delivered, as promised , on time, in perfect condition by courteous employees. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this business and will be making a 1 1/2 hour drive to purchase another mattress for my other daughter in the near future! Unfortunately I have to completely revoke my original review. After my bed molded the first time, they replaced my mattress with one that has bed bugs. So I need to purchase a new mattress now and would not trust anything from their supply. ------------- Frank, the delivery guys, and the rest of his team are the best. You will not regret giving them your business. I purchased a queen mattress and a bed frame. Within two months of purchasing the bed I moved again and discovered a freak issue with it. I am so sad that I decided to buy local. I laid on a mattress here and it felt ok not quite as good as some of the name brands I had tried at other stores, but the salesman assured me that it still had great quality products used inside of it. After about a week of sleeping on it the mattress Is already sagging really bad down the middle. It doesn't even feel like it did in the store. I called the store and they told me that there was nothing they could do :-(. It was cool that they gave me free delivery but it's not worth the new bed I have to buy. If I would have written this review based just on my experience in the store I would have given Frank a solid five stars he was so nice and informative but it turns out he really is just a yes man. I was told that the mattress I purchased did not have any memory foam inside of it, but a couple days later I was just feeling way to hot every night. So I called Frank and again he said that there was no memory foam so I waited a couple more days and it was still to hot for me so I ended up calling the manufacturer and within a couple minutes they pull up what's in my mattress and come to find out there is memory foam. So I call Frank and tell him what I had just found out and he was very apologetic now that he had been caught but he would NOT replace my mattress even tho it was his fault! I just want everyone to know my unpleasant experience and know what to be prepared for. read more

This place was a joke. I definitely did not receive the great service that I though I was going to get after reading all the reviews. The salesman was ok but he was very on edge the whole time we were in the store, but we did end up getting a mattress because he promised that he would deliver it for us before 3:00. This is were it gets pretty bad 3:00 rolls around and no one shows or calls and when we called the shop Frank said that his guys would be there shortly. at first when meeting with frank i tought i was getting special treatment cause he was good to us and agreed on a price on bunk beds and a full bed we signed a paper and looked at and he over charged me 50 bucks more then we agreed i told frank about it and he told me that he didnt wanna re do the paper work and to grab 2 pillows that where 30 each and i was over it and wanted to leave so i just told my wife to grab them as i was walking out he said to just tip the driver that delivers the beds and set them up 20 bucks, I walked out. The day of the delivery they told my wife at 12 to 1 our bed would be deliver as 1 came my wife calls me and asked me if the beds would be deliver that day i called and frank told my wife at 3 or 4 the time came and nothing my wife got mad and went to run errands cause she was waiting all day i called the place and a young guy answer the phone i asked if the beds are getting delivered he said at 4 to 6 and i told him to just send his guys and set up my beds he made sure that i knew it was a 20 dollar fee i told him that i would give him a tip but no one told me about a fee that i would give him a tip when i could that i would drop it off when i got off work so they just put my stuff on the porch while it was raining i called the guy and told him why didn't him he set them up he said my landlord didn't let him in i knew it was BS because my land lord wouldn't be that way because i had told her it was a delivery being made that day i knew it was cause there was no tip he told me that he would call his delivery guy and send him back i later get a call from the delivery guy and told me he couldn't wait for his tip i said that i would tip him 10 bucks and he said no its 20 and i said you don't tell me what to tip you for ure work he said he wouldn't go back until i paid that fee i told him it was BS and to set it up he argued that he couldn't wait that the place didn't pay him a lot that he does it for the tip i ended calling the place again and gave him my credit card number and charged me 20 i was over this place and wanted to just finish this and get my beds i had already was screwed for 50 bucks and now 20 more so thanks again i wont be going there again 0 stars wont send even my worst enemy. read more

My husband and I have bought all of our kids mattresses and our mattresses from them since we got married. We just bought a bed from them. We have had some issues with the bigger furniture companies...like Ashley furniture that gave us the same used bed 3 times and each time their delivery guys couldn't put the bed together properly. I loved going in and being helped by the very friendly saleswoman, Stephanie. I was shown a wide selection of beds, and she was very conscious of my price range and comfort. Within 20 minutes of shopping I walked out with a delivery scheduled for a firm memory foam mattress, spring box, bed frame, matress protector, and 2 pillows for just under $400!! I was shown several very comfortable beds that were even more affordable, but decided to splurge since it's an investment in my quality of sleep, and Stephanie never made me feel strong armed or otherwise pressured me into doing anything besides choose what was best for me. read more

Really delivery drivers? You come out and deliver furniture to a single mom who is barely scraping by, while her 3 kids are anxious for this furniture to be installed and then you throw in the ol' "The owner said you still owe $20." Naive, yes, but to hard to schlep 3 kids full of energy to deliver $20 to the business so there was that trust. Not only that, there was that gratefulness from the single mom for working hard to get the furniture up the stairs and put together so a $10 tip was given. A lot of money for her! After calling the business we find out it was the drivers little scam to get money out of her. She didn't owe it. That driver, who introduced himself as Jose, should be fired on the spot! That is a reflection on the business! Now single struggling mom has to use valuable gas to drive to Goleta and collect it. It should have been hand delivered to her door with an apology. And, don't have Jose show up for the rest that is still undelivered! read more
