This one on Sandy Park road is no exception! Certainly a bit larger than many Post Offices you would have come accross, this means that you will rarley have to queue, and that you don't feel guilty when you are trying to post that odd shaped parcel to America and no one can figure out exactley how best to send it!

The staff are always friendly, and happy to banter with customers, and I've never had to queue for too long (even on pension day). There is also the obligatory photocopier, which charges £1 a sheet for colour photocopying (am I just stingy or is that a little bit extortionate?!), but I'm willing to overlook this minor gripe for the general welcoming atmosphere of the place and the lovely, nostalgic titbits on offer.

Due to the way the postcodes in Bristol are worked out this is my "local" office, though it's actually loads further away from my house than the one in Montpelier. Still, it's a nice walk, as long as it's not raining. It's always been very organised inside whenever I've visited - no air of panic as they start scrambling about in the back after they realise that your precious package isn't quite where it should be. A relatively painless experience.

I'm always friendly and polite to everyone I meet, but this women is horrible. She sit's to the far left of the counters and has a massive attitude problem! I will be officially reporting her to the manager of this branch. Although this is local to me, I will be travelling further to avoid her insults.

There is another post office located just a little walk down the road, but this one beats it by a…read moremile. Nice big queuing area and plenty of people always behind desks. They have a photobooth, some cheap dvds, wrapping paper, stationary and good selection of birthday cards for sale to pick up while you're hanging around in line. Staff are always precise and professional, sometimes jokey. There are even a few seats if you're waiting for someone!
