My wife and I went to sleepworks as Ive done 5 other times for myself and childrens bed. Met Greg and explained my situation. Also explained that the last few times I was there I went downstairs and picked out my mattress and boxspring. I also told him I'd probably be his easiest customer of the day as I was satisfied with my past experience experiences and knew what I wanted. We went downstairs we laid on one queen size mattress in box spray and decided that was the one. Went back upstairs and explained to Greg that we had to finish getting the bedroom ready by painting it and moving things around. We left them a deposit and told them we'd be back to pay for the rest of the set when the room was ready. He said he reserved the mattress and box Ring. Later that week I went into sleep works and met Joe, he stated he was one of the managers. I paid him off the rest of the remaining balance and he said to call Greg on Sunday to set up delivery. I called Greg on Sunday, he promptly said the mattress would be delivered first thing Monday. Monday came and went with no mattress and boxspring. I called the store on Monday evening and got Joe again who explained to me that they don't deliver on Monday and he doesn't know why I was told that but I could have the new mattress and box spring delivered "1st thing Tuesday" After waiting all day Tuesday the delivery guys showed up and carried everything in only to find out they had the wrong box spring. I asked them to go get the correct one since I had been sleeping on the couch for 2 nights. They wouldn't and wanted to take the incorrect box spring back. I refused to let them. They called my "buddy" greg who told them to tell me it would be fixed Thursday, 1st thing. Same story, I got my correct box spring Thursday evening. I spoke with the delivery guy who said "greg doesn't want to talk to me because he knew I was upset. They left and i called 3 times and no one answered. Right before closing i call back from my wifes phone and miraculously now greg answered. I tell him how unhappy I am with the service especially since Im a long time repeat customer. He asks what would make me happy and I said I would like something taken off the final cost. He agrees. I ask if he needs me to come in for my credit card number and he says no, it's on file. Well to date I haven't received anything back and it's been 4 weeks. This place is now run by thieves and liars. I defy anyone to refute what I have said. I have proof. Stay away from sleepworks, there are plenty of other places more honest and accommodating especially when dealing with longtime customers

She answered all my questions and gave me all the information I needed to work with to feel like I was making the right decision for me. Most importantly she didn't try to pressure me into something I wasn't comfortable with! The staff here was very friendly and they have a good amount of showroom options to try, would definitely recommend coming here if you're in the market for a new bed. Parking can be a little tough, so I'd recommend parking on the side streets nearby or the nearby train station lot.

Visit Date: December 11, 2018…read more The time has come...for my son to start sleeping in his own room much to my chagrin, so my husband and I came here to buy him a bed that he will hopefully grow into and that I will be comfortable sleeping in for a little bit since I will be bed sharing with my son to transition him into his own room and to eventually get him used to sleeping alone since he's bed shared with us pretty much his whole baby and toddler life. My husband took care of the business of picking out a bed, signing the papers and paying for it since we came to the store with our son. As parents of a toddler one of us runs around after the boy the other one usually my husband ends up taking care of the business we need to attend to in whatever store we're in. TEAMWORK! My son and I snuggle tested a few different beds, the sales man we dealt with was very nice and understanding I forgot his name but he was awesome. He didn't give me a hard time about letting my son play on the sample beds and he was very appreciative that I thought to take my son's shoes off while he was playing on the sample beds. As far as I can tell he was courteous and helpful to my husband as well. My experience at this Macy's was pleasant enough and I'd come back again in the future!

I asked about a cabinet ant ( see pix) they showed me a spot not sure if it was abed, filled with catalogs. I said I needed it 24 " deep. Even then she showed me an 18" deep microwave table picture. No custom items. I asked how it had been decided to go into a furniture business? The you ER of the 2 women pointed to the other and said she has experience with it. There is little tight parking with no room to turn around and a flashing streetlight. Not a place for me.
