I wanted a more supportive bedframe for the mattress I had bought there last year, and they suggested that instead of spending money I did not need to spend, they could just put an additional support bar on the frame that exists. This has been a warm, friendly, helpful and professional experience from beginning to end. Rather than having me spend unnecessarily, the owners listened to my concerns, and came up with a solution that benefited me during this time that my mobility is challenged. The store arranged to disassemble my old headboard and footboard and removed them, and sent a team to set me up with a bedroom that was much more accessible for me. I always love to support smaller local stores in my neighborhood. What a BIG MISTAKE supporting this store was! A few years ago I purchased a tempur pedic bed from them, spent over $4000.... The first delivery they tried to pass off a different and cheaper base than what I purchased. The delivery guy also felt it was fine for him to sit on my new mattress with his dirty clothes and bounce around! Then after discussing it with one of the owners, he was going to replace the base with the tempur pedic that I paid for (found out this year he did not give me a queen but a double...big problem) The delivery guys were the same guys. The one apparently angry that I told his boss he was bouncing on my bed.... He was angry that he had to wait a bit until I was home from work (which the owner agreed to) When I told them just to be careful and not bring the rusted wheeled dolly in the bedroom for I had just put down new wood floors..... the delivery guy began to scream at me at the top of his lungs! Then he went outside on my front lawn to call the owner (as I did the same in my home) and was making a horrific scene on my front lawn! Eventually he came back in to complete the job (but took all the batteries out of all of the remotes in my room and threw them in my closet .... some landing in shoes I found months later) After posting what had occurred the second owner called me and pleaded with me to take down the bad review. He offered a $200 gift card to a restaurant I never heard of and was stating that the delivery guy had an autistic child (he appealed to the teacher in me) I did not take the gift card but took down the incident ......... I need to note that I was NEVER TOLD that with tempur pedic you could return the bed within a month. My top mattress is bigger than the base and has to constantly be positioned because of the smaller sized base they gave me! Just a horrible experience all around ...... with my medical needs I have suffered since purchasing a bed from them! Tempur pedic the cooperation was extremely upset with their representation of them and could not offer me help due to me never being told of the 30 day policy! STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE! read more

It's great to see positive reviews however our review is exactly what happens when you have a less than positive experience and have your review hidden on Google..that alone should speak volumes so I'll post it here and I will add to it...the box spring they wanted to charge us to exchange is defective and has actual metal coils in it that no one in this day and age uses anymore...after tossing the mattress out that we bought from them (hope you enjoy our $$) that they refused to take back, we had to buy another that sank on the noisy "new" box spring... Misrepresented products... Charged us not just the difference on an exchange like we were told (which was exchanged due to their error) but taxed us on the full price of the new bed + the difference so, we wound up being charged tax twice for the full price of two beds. Was going to charge us $175 if we wanted to exchange our box spring which I'm told from other retailers is ridiculous as it costs nothing to do so. Second exchange was hard as a rock but said we could exchange again for yet another fee..when we stated we weren't interested in anything else from the store and would prefer our money back they were never heard from again. .. Not a fan..... Response from the owner: - In response, unfortunately if you cant provide us ,(BedQuarters) with your ticket number, last name or phone number, as we asked the last 4 inquiries , we have to come to the conclusion you are not a customer, very simple request Mr/Mrs. one star... But so many people in our local Facebook group recommended Bedquarters that I started to rethink buying without trying. I bought a King Koil king-sized mattress from them in early 2010 without a lot of questions, because I had bought the same brand before. When I came back to them this year with a complaint about it, Bill (I guess he's one of the owners) totally did the right thing! He told me to take photos of the problem. Then he showed the photos to the manufacturer's rep, arranged for me to get me a credit (to which the store itself contributed) for the defective mattress, and sold me a new Stearns & Foster mattress for less than Macy's "best sale price of the year." Bill made this whole process go smoothly and efficiently. Best of all, I didnt have to go to Long Island to get it done. I found Bedquarters on the Internet and worked with them entirely by phone and email (except for going to Manhattan department stores near me to sample the mattresses). First and foremost, they only sell reputable brands (Sealy's, Stearn & Foster, King Koil, Tempurpedic, etc.) at fairly competitive prices, so that you won't leave feeling like you purchased a cheap, low-quality mattress that will only last a couple years. I recently purchased a mattress from Bedquarter's in Commack. I just happened to be driving on Jericho Tpke and saw a sign for a queen size Pillow top set for 499.00. I went inside the store and spoke to Terry the store manager. He showed me what turned out to be a wonderful set for my daughter who was going back to college in the fall. Terry was knowledgeable about his product. He took the time and the effort to show me the differences of the various mattresses and how they were constructed and each of their features and benefits.
