Having recently relocated from Philadelphia, I've been searching for a professional that has the skill set, knowledge and quality product that I took for granted when I lived in a major metro area. I made my appointment 2 weeks in advance. I arrived early to get a feel for the place and was very pleasantly surprised. The staff is courteous, friendly and professional. There's a sense of genuine friendship almost like they're all sisters. So I sat in the waiting area and relaxed. When it was time for my appointment I met my aesthetician for a brief consult. Oddly enough, she asked if I liked dogs then introduced me to Kassie. The dog on staff lol. She lay on the table, quietly curled at my feet the entire time. I love Kassie! My fiancé fell in love with her too when he came to pick me up. It's been my experience that this procedure is very relaxing, there've been times I've fallen asleep. The BIG difference here was the sense of love and nurturing I felt. The salon and staff seem to emit loving vibrations. Seriously. I can't wait to go back! I also got an eyebrow wax and I am incredibly happy with my lashes and my eyebrows. I've already made a follow up appointment and will be trying other services soon.

Blush Beauty Boutique & Spa, the only reason I gave it a 3-star rating because trying to get…read moresomeone to call me for an appointment was a feat unto itself. Blush is on a quiet block on Elm Street. The entryway is quaint and pleasing. When you walk in everything looks pretty and feminine. It was very typical of what you would expect an upscale salon to be on a smaller scale. My daughter had given me a gift card so I could have a pedicure. I went at the tail end of June to get an appointment before going on vacation on July 13. I thought I had enough time. When trying to make an appointment I was told that each tech/hairdresser oversees making their own appointment...? Ok, that wasn't my experience with Anjoli from Amherst, but hey who am I to tell them how to run their business? One nail tech was consulted, and she said she was booked until the 16th of July, but the girl at the desk took my number saying that the other tech would be given it so she could call me and make an appointment. I said thank you and I left. I waited, one week, two weeks, I went on vacation, when I returned, I called and left a message. No response. Four weeks later and still, I wasn't called. I private messaged them on Facebook and got a quick response with effusive apologies, "it's not a normal practice, we adore our clients, sorry that this slipped through the cracks". I gave my number again and waited a few more days and still no callback. I finally went into Blush again, stated my complaint and requested a refund. Which was denied, because that is not their practice, however, my number was taken again so that the owner could call me. Five minutes after leaving Blush, I received a call. It was from a nail tech. She had an opening that Friday and was able to finally accommodate me. As pedicures go, Ty did a very nice job. It was a relaxing experience. I enjoyed being in a pleasant room having my feet and legs massaged. I cannot find fault in the treatment. As a business, however, I think they need to come up with a better system in order to ensure that potential customers do not "fall through the cracks". Will I return to Blush? Probably not, as a potential new customer, I didn't feel valued, plus I have better things to do with my time than to wait 5 weeks for someone to call me to make an appointment.

This new person did not at all listen to me. The technician spent half an hour on my right leg, 15 minutes on my left leg, barely touching my knees. At least seven times, I reminded her I was there because I wanted to have my knees touched up. On top of that, she spent my entire appointment talking about her father's death. I am VERY sorry that she lost her dad but I don't know her at all &, having just lost my Dad myself, I really don't want to listen to a stranger complain about the way her mother handled her father's illness & death. And, sure enough, my knees are still full of hair, as if I'd never gone there & spent my money & time. I won't be back.

Roberta did a great job of explaining the process and the biological mechanism behind botox. I also appreciate that she didn't try to talk me into any extra procedures. She said my skin looked great and didn't much work. Also she said it's best to start out slow to make sure you get the results you want without overdoing it. I will definitely go back to her when I need more injections. It was quick, basically painless, I didn't have any bruising or swelling afterwards. And it was less expensive than I expected.

Forgot something, like your string thong? No worries - the disposable ones are available on the cheap. After-care lotion, an exfoliating scrub, whatever you need is here in an adorable retail space! I wasn't uncomfortable once - not only is Ryann fast, thorough, and amazingly professional, she also heats the booth/pop up tent where you stand to get sprayed so that you stay warm while standing there with all your naughty bits out in the open (which, by the way, is totally optional - wear as much or little as you want!). The whole process took about 10-15 minutes. Ryann was sure to go back over areas I wanted a little darker, and talked to me about the solution and the process while she was spraying. Be careful to wear baggy clothes, try to use the cloth to keep your skin-to-skin contact to a minimum. Re-frocked and freshly bronzed, I headed home and went to bed. Cut to - next morning - showered off the excess (prepare for your shower water to make you look like you just spent a week playing in the mud - this is normal!!), put on a little lotion and VOILA! The tan I've been chasing all summer, achieved in a measly few hours. Not a single "weird spot", not on my hands, elbows, knees, feet, face, underarms.. you know, the usual suspects. Nothing. Anywhere. Just smooth, even color that legit looks like I went to Aruba last night (a girl can dream). Quick note - if you want to look like you spent a week in Costa Rica or a month in Mexico - all can be achieved. Just tell Ryann how dark you want to be and your typical complexion and she has a variety of solutions to mix and create your perfect shade! Price is great - on the lower end for spray tans these days and worth every single penny. Service was outstanding. Results are superb! Follow the rules -- seriously!! and you will have an absolutely gorgeous spray tan for your next event, or just for fun!

Took me about 3 years to find a stylist that I could honestly say I love -but I finally did!! Cathy, who is also the owner of Merlin's is amazing!! I have very thick hair and it has what I always thought were just weird waves in the back, which I blew out and flat ironed constantly and when I had not time (which is the usual), up in a pony it went. . Come to find out, I'M A CURLY GIRL!! I never knew this and would not have known had I not gone to Cathy (who by the way is a trained Curly Girl stylist). She took the time to talk to me about my lifestyle (I was a ponytail/off my face/long hair kinda gal with 2 kids and my own business - so taking time to do my hair was not always an option). With that information she gave me a cut bringing out all these awesome curls! She gave me tips on how to keep my girls peppy without having to wash my hair every day. She showed me some awesome products that set my curl, then keeps them soft. I couldn't be happier with my cut! And the price for a cut/color is more than reasonable! Merlin's is very convenient, right off the highway on Granite Street in the old mill building across from WMUR. The Salon is very nice inside. Clean, upscale and bright with a great staff. You can get your hair done while sipping coffee, get a manicure or a pedicure and leave feeling great! I know bring both my girls here for their haircuts. I give them 5 stars.

A friend of mine told me about this hair dresser in Manchester, Mirela Lane; so I reached out to her on March 7, 2019 by email, no response for over a month. Then I reached out again on April 14, 2019.....this is what you call a nice potential new client.....me; I've never seen or heard of a person who is willing to wait this long for a response from a hair dresser who is willing to give this person new business but yet the lack of respect I get in return. Mirela Lane then finally responded to my text on Monday April 14, 2019, stating that she was off today and when she returns she will response to all messages. It's now Saturday, April 20th, have I heard from her? NOPE!!! NO ONE IS THAT BUSY!!! This is how you should not run your business. In today's world, customer service and new clients are everything, but apparently customer service is not at all important to this woman. I can surely say to anyone who is looking for a new stylist to NEVER go see Mirela Laine. This is complete and utter mind boggling to me!
