rare zinnias...beautiful color
Crystal C.

Such a cute nursery. They have literally everything here! I was looking for At Last roses and they had a ton. Almost ordered them from Amazon but glad I came in person and saw them... though I ultimately decided the color wasn't going to work on my rose garden I was glad to see them in person. Also have some rare hydrangeas so I'll come back and get them in the spring. Very well kept with a great selection of plants and flowers! One of the owners had her little dog out there and we had a great time entertaining him!

One of the best greenhouse/nurseries I have ever been to! Everyone was super nice and helpful when I had questions they had so many plants. It was unreal and the prices are very affordable.

Such a cute shop tucked away in a neighborhood. I was in town visiting and there is nothing like this at home. Ended up going home to NC with so many house plants. The selection for indoors and outdoors is fantastic and everyone we encountered was super friendly. They even have a diy bar and can't wait to come back to do that!

This place is awesome. They have so many beautiful flowers and plants. I could probably spend hours here. The staff were helpful and very nice. Can't wait to visit again soon.

Beautiful selection! Great service. I love Saskwatch for photo ops. The greenhouses ate great to stay away from hot sun.

Each time that I have visited, the staff were so helpful and welcoming. I also follow them on Instagram where they post great information about events and promotions.

Visited for the first time today. Very friendly staff, a wide selection of plants for a great price, and an overall relaxing atmosphere! Enjoyed my experience so much that I felt inclined to write this Yelp review

My absolute favorite place in town to buy plants. I can always find what I am looking for, most times I am surprised at the varieties they have. Plantings are truly inspiring and they have everything from trees down to fairy garden plants. Trust me this is a must stop for plant lovers. Perfect for those of us with lots of questions too. Don't forget to say hello to the chickens

Today's purchases!

Just go to Bedford's. This locally owned and family run nursery is such a gem. They have a wonderful selection of perennials and annuals. They sell trees and edibles and beautiful glazed pots. You can buy local fruits and veggies here in season as well. The ladies from my neighborhood also did the Terrarium Bar that they offer! You go in and create your own Terrarium with a little expert guidance. It was truly a unique and enjoyable experience. You can purchase a container from them or provide your own. If you are into Fairy Gardens, they also have a selection of items for your Fairy Garden. If you love to garden or if you are a newbie and need some direction then you must head to Bedford's.

Great selection of flowers and shrubs

Located in the heart of…read moreAugusta, GA, it is fairly easy to get to and provides a small oasis from the bustle of city life. There are walking trails, the garden center, a small stream running through the property, a little shop, some fun farm animals to see, and I believe they have a cafe that will be reopening soon. They also serve as an event space and it seems well suited to that! The owner (at least that's who I think it was!) was there watering plants when we arrived, just on a mission to scope out garden centers and see what they had. The day we went I was a little shocked by the poor selection of plants and the state of the plants. They had some variety but it was hard to tell as they didn't seem super well organized (or at least just not well labeled). Then many plants looked just unhappy and there were quite a few pots of just soil, no currently living plant inside, mixed in with others. I'm still wondering if I just missed something, maybe what I thought were just weeds growing in some of the pots were actually the intended plant. I'm not really sure, and want to give them the benefit of the doubt! It just didn't look like what I expected from a garden center. We did however see some nice Camelia plants for sale and enjoyed seeing the animals. Their prices seem competitive with Lowe's or Home Depot garden centers, which was fine for the healthy plants but confusing for the not-so-healthy ones. We did visit early in the season (March) which could be a contributing factor but that time of year is also when many folks are trying to purchase and plan for their summer gardens and want to see a little more life in their prospective plant friends! Overall it seems like they are filling many needs in one stop and I admire that, and may make another visit to see how the plant situation compares then. I hate to be a critic but I did truly leave a little baffled by the other customer intensely browsing the what really did look like pots of weeds. And I've spent years working in ag and environmental sciences and greenhouses so Im not a total newbie to the ways of plants. I hope I just missed a memo!

Service is great and the food is delicious and fresh and you can tell it's homemade. But the star…read moreof the day was the Keylime pie.

You had to pay additional to have a project where a pair can work together $10.00 for the project. Was supposed to include: ~Expert guidance from the PlantHouse crew on bonsai planting techniques ~Choice of bonsai tree to suit your preferences ~High-quality materials including rock soil, vessel, and decorative elements ~Valuable care tips to ensure the health and longevity of your bonsai Here is what we got: Person standing on a ladder giving generic instructions, add rock to the planter, take bonsai out of its pot, knock old soil off, and put plant in planter and add dirt. Use pebbles to decorate the planter. Had a choice of one type of bonsai plant. There was no room for 2 people to work together on the project at the same time. Our care tips was a leaflet and one check out, water plant weekly and if you trim brown branch, it won't grow back, if you trim a light colored branch, it will continue growing. Not worth the cost for the experience. Have done other things at PlantHouse that were a better value and more fun.

So I went to the location and it was all shower heads and completely wrong for what I needed. The plumbing station guy was trying to be helpful but said he said the item doesn't exist in the store anywhere. So I went to the customer service station and this girl with an attitude was not helpful at all. I asked about ordering and delivery and delivery is only to the store, not to my residence, "delivery" is to the store, online bait and switch. I will never go back to this Home Depot ever. Giant bad attitude problem at this store. A complete waste of time and left disgusted. Deserves less than one star.
