It is a veritable botanical garden - there is way too much signage and art installed all over the place to not get distracted and cause you to pull out your phone to take some pics. Prices seem on par with Good Earth, Home Depot, Bedfords, etc. - a dollar or two more or less depending on what you are looking at. They did offer some different plants not seen elsewhere that we scooped up: Carolina, confederate, and West Indies jasmine and patriot hosta. If you are into gardening, this place is definitely worth a look in addition to other places. After a summer here, you'll discover that you need to go fishing for plants everywhere from flea markets to Krogers - each place seems to have their specials and different varieties.

Each time I went in, the staff shows me the flowers that came in, each time the wrong type of flower I ordered, my name and number misplaced and told again they would call me. It's week #5, I've been calling everyday and nobody answers the business phone. There are better Nurseries in the CSRA area, higher quality of customer service. I don't recommend anyone waste any time with this Nursery.

You had to pay additional to have a project where a pair can work together $10.00 for the project. Was supposed to include: ~Expert guidance from the PlantHouse crew on bonsai planting techniques ~Choice of bonsai tree to suit your preferences ~High-quality materials including rock soil, vessel, and decorative elements ~Valuable care tips to ensure the health and longevity of your bonsai Here is what we got: Person standing on a ladder giving generic instructions, add rock to the planter, take bonsai out of its pot, knock old soil off, and put plant in planter and add dirt. Use pebbles to decorate the planter. Had a choice of one type of bonsai plant. There was no room for 2 people to work together on the project at the same time. Our care tips was a leaflet and one check out, water plant weekly and if you trim brown branch, it won't grow back, if you trim a light colored branch, it will continue growing. Not worth the cost for the experience. Have done other things at PlantHouse that were a better value and more fun.

It's a big chain nursery company that ships out plants to different places though. They mostly have shrubs and landscaping plants. It is a very big property covered with greenhouses and plants with sprinkler systems. They also have big trucks to ship the plants out with that are parked on the property. I have never shopped here, therefore I'm not sure if an individual person can buy from here like online plant shopping or only stores who would order packs of certain plants. But considering shopping from a business point of view I will rate this 4 out of five because you can physically see the plants being taken care of nicely from a roadside view. But for the average plant shopper I will rate this a 2 out of 5 because you can't just walk onto the property like any other plant shop.
