What a hidden gem for photographers and camera lovers! I visited Bedford Camera & Video this morning to get digital fingerprinting done, and I had no idea what a nice place I was walking into. First of all, Mark was a wealth of information. He explained that in addition to digital fingerprinting, Bedford Camera & Video has everything one could possibly need for photography. The store is clean and inviting, and the guys working were friendly and helpful. You can even send in photos to print, And the prices are great, and way better quality than you'd get at Walmart or Walgreens. This is where I always take in my film/disposable cameras!!!!!! Best prices, best colors and so quick!! I used to take mine to walgreens and it was 8 dollars more for a disk that was much harder to transfer the digital one (Bedford just emails a drpobox link- so easy!!!!!), wack coloring, no negatives and would take MONTHS sometimes. Thats why Bedford will always be a favorite. The staff have always been so kind. read more

i've had a analog camera for a few months now & couldn't figure out what to do with it. i asked a friend about where i could get film it, she told me about this place. their customer service is incredible. they broke down the condition of the camera, schooled me on the batteries, lenses & how to take the best shots out of it. i didn't know film was so cheap. since it was my first time, i asked for something basic to start out with, the fuji film was $4. they also print/process/add photos onto discs for digital purposes & so forth. the employee that helped me out the past two times i went was very helpful. still gave me pointers when i visited the second time. this is a good location to check out for all of your photographer wants/needs! read more

I brought in several SD card to have digitized and put on a flash drive. I asked them to call me if any weren't readable and needed to be recovered before doing so, so I could decide if I wanted to move forward based on how many were bad. The guy said that would be no problem and he'd put a note with my order. When I went to pick them up, they had recovered 4 of true SD cards without calling me, and charged me $100 for it. And they also charged me $30 for the flash drive, when they originally told me it would be $20. When I asked them why they didn't call me, they said they didn't know and made no effort to make it right. I love supporting local businesses, but not dishonest ones that don't honor their word and take advantage of their customers. read more

I've had my Nikon D40 camera for several years now and realized today the battery was completely dead and would not charge. Because the camera is so old I wasn't sure I could find a replacement battery locally. Even online it was hard to find an official Nikon battery instead of a knockoff. Thankfully I found Bedford Camera and was able to get a replacement quickly. The sales rep was knowledgeable and friendly. I appreciated that he took the battery out of the wrapping to make sure it worked and that there wasn't an issue with the camera itself. I definitely recommend coming here if you need a camera or camera related accessories! read more

Great folks to do business with. Traded in my Nikon D610 & some lenses for the new Nikon Z-6 -- their trade in figures were pretty much the same as the big Name online camera places and their price for the new Z-6, exactly the same as online.
