I would not recommend this business for digital photo restoration. That skill is not in their wheelhouse.

So, I studied abroad in Prague during college and took a photography and art history class. I could barely afford the experience and definitely didn't have the cash moneys to buy a digital SLR. Thus, I brought my small point and shoot camera on the journey and vigorously took notes to hopefully transfer when obtaining a big ol' camera. Welp, a year later my savings earned me a camera. However, my notes looked like a foreign language by then. I'm here to tell you that Apertures has the staff and equipment you need to feel confident - no matter what your skill level. Also, they print fantastic photos. We took our wedding photos to be developed here with a matte finish and was so pleased with the result!

This place hand processes film, no scratching the negatives! They have ordered specialty equipment for me and I have been very happy with it. They sell all kinds of things you need for photography. They have a row of computers where I guess you can modify pix and print, or something like that. They buy used camera equipment I hate the parking lot, it is on a pretty steep grade. On the drivers side, the door wants to get out of your hand and hit the car next to you. From the passenger side, it takes pushing the door out with my foot to get it open, and keeping it from slamming back on your shin and breaking your leg. Over the several decades I have gone here, there have been a couple of times I thought the owners' attitude wasn't want it should be, but I am glad they are here regardless.

I go almost weekly to drop off or pick up film. Great folks who are so kind and helpful. The new location rocks!

Walked in and waited. I was never greeted or helped I only saw one person that I'm not sure even worked there so I left.

20 years of experience speaks for itself. You will get much better customer service than the camera gallery offers. They also have a school!

Meagan is so patient during class and made sure to answer all of my questions. The way she taught posing made it so easy to understand. The ongoing facebook group is such a great resource and addition to the workshop. Overall, I  would recommend this workshop to anyone who is still on the fence. Make the jump you won't regret it!

Meagan was an open book and answered all of our crazy questions. We were able to do hands-on posing and that was SO helpful - much better than watching someone pose everything and then just photographing the resulting pose. After the workshop, being added to the group was a huge help with continued learning. I learned so much at the workshop in such a short time - being in the group and being able to continue to ask questions and be helped in everything. Meagan responds in a timely manner and continues to be an open book and helping to continue my skills and learning. Definitely recommend her if you're looking to improve your posing skills and have a great time (LOTS of laughs!). 5 out of 5 stars for sure!

This place is definitely the place to go to learn something new…read more They have amazing classes such as dancing, PiYo, and all sorts of things, quite a lot of art classes. Photography, art, dancing, voice lessons, acting/drama, and working out for some. To keep track of their classes and schedule they use a really awesome app called "MindBody Connect". They even have a summer workshop going on this summer which my little brother and one of my niece's are going to. They also have a ton of groups! Some of which are the Writer's Inspiration Group, Artist Support Group, and Writing Group. My mom goes to the PiYo classes and enjoys them a lot. I displayed my art there! That's right, you can display your art at this wonderful place! Just contact Byn, the owner and ask. My art is currently hanging on their walls as of 05/24/15 (it may not be there in a few weeks). The decor is beautiful, it has a kind of Tumblr feel to it, yet vintage in a way as well. Large crystals sit on unique tables in the cozy first room. Plenty of sitting space in the first room as well. Their dog wanders throughout their place, greeting customers and trying to even attempt to go home with them! The dog is really well minded, and it just will steal your heart as you go to your class(s)! This place can be difficult for some to find, but that's because it's in a interesting building behind another building. There is also a tree which can block the sign which is why some people have a hard time seeing it. My dad and I had no such trouble and parked in the large parking lot happily. The confusing thing about going in is that next to the door to their place is a door for another place, which I know nothing about and was closed when I went. I almost went in there though! Whoops! *chuckles* There is then a hallway inside from the first room which leads onto several other rooms, one is a office room, another a photograph room (where they take photos!) and another is a storage, and another a makeup room. But a little off of the first room is the room where you would learn dance and have exercise classes, big mirrors and nice floors for working out are in this room, even a SUPER tiny kitchen. Overall, the Always family is so kind and generous and definitely fun, don't be afraid to ask them questions and figure out what you want to learn. I think they give such a needed addition to Tulsa by adding a place where all can learn, talk and have fun. Don't forget to check their site so you can see ALL the listed classes because they keep having more and more classes!
