He was easy to work with, very professional, and made me feel like I was photogenic. I don't usually feel photogenic, so the fact that I did says a lot about him and his ability to put his clients at ease. He took many shots, and I quickly found one I loved. I've been using it for my LinkedIn profile and virtually all professional situations ever since. That was maybe nine years ago? I should have written a recommendation back then but never got around to it. Today is the 20th wedding anniversary for my brother and sister-in-law, so Sean was top of mind. I've loved the photo for nearly a decade, and I still get compliments on it all the time. Hiring Sean to do my headshot was one of the best professional investments I've ever made. I would give him 10 stars if I could.

Definitely not the easiest situation for any photographer. He did a beautiful job in a very short amount of time, a three hour cruise. He got all the standard wedding photos of the ceremony, and posed shots of the wedding party and friends. He then continued to shoot candid photos that were spectacular. At one point he noticed that the boat was passing under the Coronado Bay Bridge and hustled my bride and I up on deck for yet another once in a lifetime shot. Would I recommend Resolution Photography? Absolutely. At the time he was one of the most sought after wedding photographers in San Diego and in the past 9 years I'm sure he has gotten even better, if that's possible. I haven't had contact with Sean since he did our wedding, but I believe that credit should be given where due. Sean was all set up when we arrived on the boat, worked his butt off the whole time, and got the finished product to us in short order at a fair price. What more can I say except that he was a joy to work with and he got the best out of everyone he photographed!

From the first meeting Libby held with my fiance and I, she has been nothing but professional, caring, patient, upbeat and creative. As a bride who sometimes struggled with my "vision", Libby brought out the best in me. She was open to trying new poses, working with props, and experimenting with composition. Just look at her photos- no shortage of variety! During our engagement shoot, I had told Libby that I couldn't stand photos of my fiance and I kissing. She made sure to capture natural, authentic moments- avoiding the awkward kiss photos that I dread. Throughout the whole session, Libby was flexible and enthusiastic to entertain my ideas- including a few outfit changes and Pinterest prop ideas.... but she also had several original ideas of her own! Honestly, one of the top reasons we chose Libby was her enthusiasm to try new things and her flexibility. Particularly, my husband and I hosted a traditional Vietnamese/Chinese tea ceremony. Although Libby was new to this ceremony, she took the time to understand each of the elements, diligently photographing all the small details in the tea ceremony. Libby and Will (her husband and second shooter) never missed a beat. For our wedding ceremony, we chose to get married in our church. Because we had a traditional Catholic ceremony, there were certain rules for photography. After seeing Libby's portfolio, I knew she'd be a great fit- able to stay within the rules, but still capturing stunning photos. Libby and Will photographed the church setting beautifully, and transformed some otherwise dull-lit concrete walls and wooden pillars into amazingly rich images. Finally, I leave my review with one of the best pieces of advice Libby has ever told me. She once said that a photo means something special now, but in the years down the road, your views and thoughts of that photo may change- be it that life has brought you to a new stage or that the people who have shared in those memories may not be with us. I have loved looking back at the photos on our wedding day, and I truly look forward to cherishing them for many, many years to come. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much Libby!

The reason was, I love their style, the creative aspect of their work and also knowing how many great sports shots they would get. From the beginning to working with them.they were very patient with me as my son's hair was not Senior photo ready. Then the pandemic hit and they still were patient with me. But, during this time I had decided I wanted our last family photo before my oldest went to college. I just saw my photos and am blown away on what Greg did with them. I had a vision on what I wanted and he made them come to life. I have already talked to them about my next son's senior photos. They are extremely responsive to text, emails and phone calls.

It was my first time "in front of the camera", and Gregg and Jennifer had me completely at ease. Lots of professionalism and they start out explaining how our time would be spent, which i liked. This team was fast, they had ideas, suggested ways to improve the angle with some direction here and there. All in all, an awesome experience! I did my own hair and makeup, and brought three outfits. I Love all my pictures!! It is a husband and wife team that work intuitively. I've seen some of their other specialty work, and have not seen that level of creativity with other photographers. My second time to use GSP, i needed some photoediting done for my image which was going in a corporate newsletter with a readership of 10,000+ people. Having seen their specialty work from my first shoot, I knew Gregg was very good at photoediting. Jennifer had me work with Gregg via email, as I was in Dallas. He met my turnaround time, exceeded all my expectations, i'm not sure how many improvements he made to my image, but it was beautiful, completely natural, and I looked like a million bucks in my photo. He is a master with the photoediting software. I definitely recommend Gregg Shipman Photography. I would use this service again.

However, everything went downhill from the night before our wedding. At 10:30 pm, she emailed saying she had an emergency and would send other photographers in her place. While the replacement photographers did a great job, things went downhill after the wedding. We initially got a lot of preview photos, which also turned out great. She promised final photos within 8-10 weeks, per contract, but after responding once saying they were in the works, she completely ghosted us - No replies to calls, emails, or texts. I eventually discovered, through another bride who is now considering suing her, that I could maybe access more photos via an old preview link. This did work for me! The photos were beautiful, but the complete lack of communication and professionalism was incredibly frustrating. Despite doing the work, she never contacted or replied to me again. Sadly, it seems this is a pattern, as I learned from my wedding coordinator and other brides who have had similar experiences. While the quality of her work is great, her unprofessional behavior and repeated issues make it impossible for me to recommend her. Brides deserve reliability and respect, especially for such an important day.

Setting up an appointment a week later for a one hour shoot in their Tulsa studio was super easy (they also have one in Norman). They were super flexible to my requests of adding more time to the shoot and more outfits. They promptly sent me an email confirmation with information that answered ALL of my questions and detailed what to expect. Since I had never done a boudoir shoot before, I appreciated the attention to detail and the fact that they acknowledged that the nervousness of stepping out of your comfort zone is completely normal. They recommend purchasing the hair and makeup add-on for $85. I didn't because my best friend is an amazing makeup artist. It is definitely helpful to feel like a model by the time you arrive. I learned that boudoir does not necessarily mean lingerie or nudity (which was the main reason why I was so nervous). Alisa, the photographer, helped me feel at ease immediately. When I arrived, the previous session was just wrapping up. They were three girlfriends who told me they gifted themselves a shoot every year because it was a great way to celebrate themselves. I loved how enthusiastic they were. I hadn't considered it would be a gift to myself as well. The space itself wasn't big but it was very well laid out. They have cute décor and different backdrops set up. You can bring whatever you want to wear during your shoot but they also have a client closet with props to choose from. They even have a Pinterest page to check out beforehand for inspiration. During the actual shoot, Alisa did a magnificent job of coaching me through posing and my facial expressions. Even though some of the poses felt somewhat forced and uncomfortable, she would quickly show me the result and it was AMAZING! I couldn't believe how good she made me look. She is a pro at choosing flattering poses and encouraging you along the way. Once the shoot was over, they let me look at the pictures for me to select which ones I wanted to be retouched. As part of the Groupon, I was supposed to select only a handful of pictures for them to retouch. I actually thought that would be plenty until I started to scroll through them. I actually loved ALL of them. So I once again extended my package and purchased all of the digital files. It felt like a splurge but was well-worth it for sure. Highly recommend for everyone to experience! It was a highly empowering and did wonders for my self-esteem.
