When my daughter moved and needed furniture I want to Hank's and expected the same good result. Instead the service has been a nightmare. I was talked into a particular table and chairs because the set would be available on April 20. The day before April 20 I got a call saying 2 of the 4 chairs would be delivered and the other 2 a week later. On April 20, no chairs were delivered. Since then I have repeatedly been promised, "The chairs will be here on Thursday, and we will immediately ship them." I even called the corporate office and was told they would contact the store. Two weeks ago I was told two chairs had been shipped on Thursday and would be there on Monday (May 30). Still no chairs. No one ever calls me to say chairs have been delayed. No communication is initiated by Hank's. Today I called Hank's and was told, "The chairs will be in on Thursday and will be shipped." I have never had to put up with service like this from any reputable vendor.

I went to Ashley's to purchase a couch set, it was like $6800. I got the same thing from American Freight for $1500 less. It was the "exact same" thing,EXACT. This place is a hidden gem tbh. I think with a better store sign and some overall storefront work people would shop here more often than Ashley's. But hey it's my personal opinion. Thanks American Freight. I…read moregave them a 4 because of my most recent experience with a clerk named "Jana" who was less than service friendly. Initially, I asked her if she happens to know where I could find a remote control. I wanted to see if one fit into a small item I was considering purchasing. Without even asking me why I was making such a request she said..."If their is no remote control with your item then it does not have one." This is not at all what I was asking and felt that any clerk should have replied..."well sir what do you need one for?" In which case I would have explained. Then, at check I asked about a customary discount I always get their she said flippantly, "Oh well, I can't possibly give you any discount after I processed a transaction." I found her attitude to be less than professional and certainly not customer caring. That said she stood out to me from a of the other wonderful staff I have encountered their regularly. I highly recommend this place and hopefully you won't run into this person.
