Considering most of the furniture is old/used/re-purposed, the prices they're asking are retail for brand-new stuff. I get that people put their hard work and energy into fixing stuff up, but there has to be a balance. Overall, it really is an ADORABLE shop. It's decently sized and there's plenty to see. In fact, I'm guessing you probably miss seeing half the stuff because there's SO much! You could almost walk through each section twice just to be sure you saw everything! If I were in the area I would stop by again and see if I found anything I loved. Definitely check it out for yourself, and make your own opinion. You may just find something amazing. Now, after seeing her disgusting, bigoted, uneducated social media posts (now deleted) about hurricane Helene's devastating damage and how they made it about racism and politics. The sales associate working today was very polite and helpful, especially since I was being high maintenance and wanted the item off the mannequin. I purchased a beautiful sarong that I plan to use during my upcoming trip to Cuba. White Owl Market's slogan is: "Never the same store twice." I looked EVERYWHERE & could not find anything in real wood that I liked. I came to "At Home" and they had some really cute ones, and a really big Natural wood one on the top shelf, naturally, where I couldn't get to it. I tried to get help but I ran out of time & had to leave. I couldn't find anyone to help me get the shelf down, so I left. I kept looking the rest of the day around town, but that was the only one I really liked. So next day I came in & went up to the register & asked if someone could get it down for me & the lady at the register was very kind & helpful, called a man to help me immediately. He got the shelf down & it's the perfect size I needed. This store is very nice, clean & well organized. It's HUGE with tons of inventory & seasonal inventory. The prices are average.
