Isaac's is a great find in Wausau's river district…read more It has a boutique feel, but without the snotty attitude. It carries a selection of clothing and accessories that seem to have something for most styles. It's not a low-end store by any means, but for the type of store it is, coupled with being a local shop, Isaac's is a must visit even if it's only to browse. The handbags, from Bagallini were a surprise, though. It's hard to find that brand outside a travel-oriented store. Somewhere along the way, the knowledgeable employees managed to direct me to the reason I actually stopped in: the Crabtree & Evelyn and Thymes fragrance lines. Surprisingly, they not only carried a full line, they also had the newer ones. There were some of the discontinued ones on clearance. That's always nice.

The staff, mainly teenage girls, are so incredibly rude and make no attempt to make your business feel welcomed or appreciated. Never a friendly greeting, never any sort of warmth whatsoever. I've been here multiple times to buy and sell and out of all those 20 something visits I haven't had a single pleasant or positive one. I'd save yourself the trip and just sell your things on the Facebook market, at least you will actually get back what your clothes are worth and you won't get treated like shit.

I did not check out the clothings as much as I was looking for furniture, kitchen, and other home products and I could not believe the prices! I am a thrift lover and this place blew my mind. A USED vacuum was $78... I can go on Amazon and buy a new one for that price. I could buy the brand new one for $99... a side table... $35 a coffee table $55... again.. I can go on Amazon and buy a new one instead of the ones they had... and I know what you think that maybe it was a nice piece of furniture.. but no.. they are basic used furniture... not close to being worth the price.. and for the clothing. I did see some prices but the only good deals were the clearance items and the kids. I would not thrift there again.

The sales associate that rung up my order provided an incorrect extended Holiday return policy…read moredate. She stated returns would be accepted through the end of January. When I went to return items on 1/20/2020, I was told 1/14 was the last day for returns. Not only would they only provide current in-store prices (most clearanced), they would only put it on a store merchandise card vs original payment form. Additionally, they had ran out of store merchandise cards so said I either had to pick new items out immediately or wait for one to be mailed. Even with the store credit, the return price was dropped to close out pricing. I had my original receipt with me and it was a difference of 6 days. The general manager's response was unapologetic. Better training needs to happen with their associates. They have a very unforgiving return policy as well. I do not recommend using this store location.
