Despite being an unnecessary and extra request, they were totally understanding and drafted a written arrangement that put me at ease. Once I identified the property, an offer was ready within hours. When I asked for modifications, the turnaround was same-day. They were also very friendly and pleasant to speak with. Alice provided timely and useful info on the uniqueness of this property, being a condo and typical investment property, whereas I was planning to treat it as a primary. They also had a local lender to recommend. Ultimately, the seller wanted more money than I was willing to pay, and I had some issues with financing, so I walked from the deal. The end result is that even though they didn't make a penny from me, they still gave me excellent service and attention. They provide regular cleaning service for our office building and clean the windows on request. Same for our home carpets and furniture.  In 2000 used them for the clean up of our downtown marina office when we had 12 inches of water in it. I was wading in the water checking everything out as the storm winds were dropping - called and Steve was there in the morning. Saved all kinds of stuff including electronics that had been soaked. 8 years or so ago while our office here in St Andrews was getting a new roof a storm blew up over the weekend. Water poured though the temp roof into 3 of our offices and conference room - as well as the whole entry reception space. DS popped right over and brought a new tool I had never seen before to suck the water right up through the wooden floor board with the hot dry air from the dehumidifiers that was drying the wood. Saved all the carpet and hardwood flooring. For Cat 5 Hurricane Michael in 2018 we rode it out in the RV in the office garage and when the wind was down to about 40 went to check our Harbour Village condo. Damaged roof vents were allowing water to leak in the kitchen vent and the 1/2 bath and soak the hardwood in both areas. DS was Johnny on the spot as the winds were still diving down. And again were sucking the water out of the hardwood floors- very important because the entry, hallway, kitchen, pantry, LR, DR, main hall and 1/2 bath would have had to all be replaced. We built plastic chutes to 55 gal trash cans, kept the dehumidifiers and floor sucker running full time and kept testing and testing the moisture levels. Saved them!! Then in 2019 when we had  all new S side sliding doors installed the contractor made a small little error and a gail from the south blew the water through the door gap and soaked about 70 ft2 of LR & DR. AGAIN DS was right there before the winds had even died down. And in late Feb 2021 we returned from a ski trip to find the guest room soaked with water from a leaking pipe in the bathroom wall. 15 years ago the pipe in the wall had just been touched by a nail during construction and for some reason decided NOW was the time to fail. GRRR!  DS was there within the hour with all the equipment - and 48 hours later all dry- no damage -  and furniture back in place. I tell you all that just in case you need someone to call for regular carpet cleaning, special carpet restoration (Deep pile Oriental carpet soaked in salt water) , furniture cleaning, saving wet wood floors etc! We wanted to reconfigure our kitchen floor plan to relocate our refrigerator, expand existing kitchen cabinetry, and replace an oversized, oddball island. The original cabinet maker had gone out of business, so in 2021 a three year search began. We contacted over 50 cabinet companies and contractors throughout the Panhandle up into Alabama, the majority of which frankly told us they couldn't match what we had. Only four submitted bids and thankfully J. Wade was one of them! He also suggested enhanced panels for framing our fridge and the island plus a unique corner base cabinet to make it more practical for access. I'm not very good with pictures; hopefully the "before's and after's" will speak for themselves. He did such a wonderful job that you can't tell where the 'old' cabinets end and his new ones begin and we are delighted beyond words! The literal 'icing on the cake' was the new crown molding he replaced above all the cabinets; such a beautiful final touch! He is a genuine craftsman!
