Mom's blender broke and so we popped out to BB&B to see what they have on their shelves. While browsing, I took a look at the other kitchen implements. Cutting boards, rubbish bins, drying racks, a million different gadgets. Prices are clearly marked. In the small appliances section, one aisle is dedicated to blenders. Prices are a little higher than Amazon but they do offer a price matching. Unfortunately, the blender that mom liked the most only had the glued-down demo model. There was not a sale model available. Off to Amazon she went and the replacement for her broken blender will arrive tomorrow. The store is busy with lots of merchandise, stacked high. Love the coupons I receive by email. The 20 percent off one item is the best one. Prices of everything have gone up significantly over the past few months as we all know so we just mainly go in to the store to browse. The DMV has better customer service. I have never had an issue returning purchases made on-line at a store until recently. One woman is refusing to take returns of online orders, even when you select to "return in store" and show the APPROVED return slip to her. I don't want to know how she treats returns of purchases made at other locations or in her own store, I won't be shopping at BBB as long as she still works there. read more

Waiting in line to pay, only one register open, can't figure out how to ring up customer, 8 people waiting - time I will never get back!!!

So, three/four months ago I went to this location to return a comforter because it had stains on it. It was gross to say the least, but it was what it was. I was standing in line to return it when an hmmm, how do I say this? Jerk cut in front of me. I couldn't stay quiet so I aggressively asked him what his effing problem was. He laughed and begrudgingly told me to go in front of him with a smirk. I said thanks and put the comforter on the counter. The girl who was returning the item for me was trying not to laugh. Whatever, young idiotic girls and their humors. I was slightly annoyed but waited patiently for her to do her job. When she was done I took my receipt and turned around to head to the bedding department to grab another comforter. As I go to walk away I literally heard this loser of a girl call me a witch with a capital B to the man who was behind me and they both started laughing. Needless to say I wigged out. I got the manager involved and was completely pissed. The man looked in shock the entire time and the girl was obviously worried about losing her job. Well no duh, moron, you don't call a customer a swear word mame to another customer and within ear shot range. Not to mention that the issue wasn't even about her or had anything to do with her. I had not ever been so upset in a store before. The manager took care of everything and I walked out with my comforter. I went to this location again today and was so happy to walk in and find a whole new staff, at least from what I could see. They were all super nice, very friendly, and totally accommodating. I'm so happy that I wasn't on yelp a couple of months ago because if I was the rating would have been one star. read more

I purchased a hat for my husband for his birthday because he has sun and skin issues. He loved it and I threw away the receipt. Now, weeks later, it started to unravel and I asked the staff what could be done. His size was not in either local store but Shauna, one sweet Cape Coral staffer, took the time to look up the item and found another one in the Punta Gorda store. She then let me know she lived there and was going to stop on her way home and pick up the hat for me that night. Talk about customer service and going above and beyond! The next afternoon I went back to the store and Chloe had it waiting for me at the front desk. THANK YOU, LADIES! Your kindness and efforts are what make this store one of my favorites! Love Bed Bath and Beyond but this one was by far one of the worst customer service experience I've had. The products are expensive as is but when you throw in rude workers that puts the icing on the cake for me. Nope, you guys suck and need to work on your "people skills".
