The most experienced and educated and nicest staff. When my gingerbread porch would mold every year in south Florida humidity they recommended a simple mold preventative liquid to add to the paint. Paint lasted for years without this problem. I had an antique iron bed. Home Depot recommended their products for metal primer and paint. After a year paint would Scrap off with a fingernail. The paint store employees recommended a metal primer and paint. Super hard finish that is permanent. Just two examples. Besides, Benjamin Moore has the best paint colors and the paint we used in our home 30 years ago looks as beautiful today as it did then.

They said they didn't have any full canisters in stock, but if I brought the one I had, they had the ability to fill it. When you het to the store, leave the canister immediately the car. Come into the store to pay and let them know what you are there for. They will have a representative meet you along the side of the building where the propane tank filling station and garden supplies are located. After you have paid, drive your vehicle to along the side of the store, put it in park, and then bring your canister into the gated side yard. The representative will check the canister to make sure it is in decent condition and valid to be filled. It was late in the day, so the patio was shaded. It took a few minutes to fill. The representative was kind enough to carry the full tank to my car. Great service! It cost about $25. Worth it to have full canisters on hand, especially with hurricane season on its way.

Ace has good quality paint, including Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines, Clark & Kensington and Benjamin Moore. I came for a gallon of Ben Moore paint, with a color in mind that was from Sherwin Williams. Fortunately, these companies do share formulas so that they can match each other's colors. I got exactly what I wanted without a longer drive. The store is also stocked with everything you might need for a home project. It's good to shop this conveniently located store and they are for sure, a helpful hardware place.

They were able to match it. The store was busy both times so had to wait my turn but didn't take long and got the paint quite fast. They also set me up w their rewards program and received % off of the gallon. I have to go back and get another gallon of the paint. It's in there system so I don't have to bring the old can along. I do usually get my paint at the ACE Hardware on the island, as it's closer to my home and has more deals and Missy knows her stuff. But this is a good alternative paint place.

However, at Venice Paints, Billy is very well-informed and would recommend alternative products if there was a better fit for the project as well as colour recommendations. He knows his stuff and his ability to match colours is almost mystical! He does this all with a smile and a friendly chat and his shop pup Scrappy is pretty dang cute too. Highly Recommended!

We started off with his lawn service, which is more than fairly priced, and from our first meeting onwards, we were impressed how respectful, generous (with his time and energy), responsive, detail-oriented, and communicative he is. We have been at our property for under two years and have been focused mainly on big house projects since the purchase. However, we wanted to get ahead of hurricane season by taking trees away from the roof and gain more protection from wildfires by cleaning up the wooded areas that were overgrown and encroaching on the house. We also wanted to make the woods more accessible and create some more space for future projects. Dave is very energetic and creative with a lot of ideas. He also has the experience completing complex large-scale projects. Dave creates partnerships with other companies he trusts, along with his own crew, to do the work. Dave has extremely high standards for himself, his workers, and those he partners with. In our experience, Dave delivers what he promises, and then a whole lot more. We are several parts into a much larger and long-term set of projects with him. We appreciate that Dave communicates when he will arrive, he manages the projects closely, lets us know each step well before it happens, negotiates the pricing, and is responsive and adaptable to changes. Once the tree company took off the first layer of dense brush, and revealed a beautiful forest behind it, we decided we wanted to change the original plan and create a lot more openness. This was obviously going to cost a bit more as the initial scope has expanded. Dave immediately called us to work through all the details and make sure we were on the same page as far as what we wanted done, then he worked on the price, and was back to us quickly with the number. The work done was massive, and not inexpensive, but the price was more than fair. Someone else wouldn't have done nearly as nice of a job and would have easily charged a lot more. The work the tree company and his crew did was phenomenal. Not only did they really listen to us, work super hard, they went above and beyond as well to make sure we were happy. Every person working here was respectful of us and our property. We feel like a whole new world has opened up here, and Dave keeps reminding us that this is only the beginning of the possibilities. More birds have come out, we now have a lovely breeze in the backyard, and it just looks beautiful. Dave's goal is to make his customers happy. He set a high bar for our expectations, then delivered way beyond them. We feel so thankful and lucky to have him on our team and in our corner.

After finding him laying on his elbow l, I tell him I apologize for disturbing him as a joke and he looks at me and tells me "then domt" as well as informing me no he can't help me and has no idea where to send me to find assistance.
