Both owners, Marcie and Carrie, taught our class giving personal attention to each student. We learned the art of basic glass fusing through instruction, example and making our own pieces. All materials and firing were included in the workshop cost. We were given several examples of what we could make in our introductory class. Wall hangings, jewelry, wind chimes were some of our choices. Large selections of different glass in multitudes of shapes and colors were provided as well as the tools we needed. This class was so much fun and rewarding! I felt encouraged to express myself and with no known artistic ability, I created a fused glass wind chime. I highly recommend this work shop. Something different than dinner and a movie. I'll be going back to make a glass bowl that looks like coral, plant markers for my garden as well as take classes in silk scarf painting.
