I hate to leave such a poor review for an obviously beloved bank, but seriously:…read more I knew when I left "the" big bank that I would lose a lot of the convenience that went with using the Bank That is Everywhere, but this is ridiculous: Woodinville has no ATM at all, Kirkland has an ATM that doesn't take deposits, and Bothell has a REEEEEALLY old fashioned ATM that looks like a computer from the 70s, and it also doesn't take deposits. I didn't find a working Banner ATM until I got to Redmond. That one was actually really nice. But by then I had been driving around for 2 hours, and wasted a ton of gas. Inexcusable in this day and age. I will happily remove this review when you have righted the situation. Please provide fully functioning ATMs at all of your branch locations.

We opened a business account but there have been a couple of mistakes that cost me money, They fixed the issues, but I suspect their need for profit outweighs their desire to please customers. But it may also be a case of high turnover and low pay for the employees. The bank employees are so young, there doesn't appear to be anyone over 40 there. I'm not sure what the reason for the mistakes are, but I keep cutting back on services so that I don't get extra service charges. It the bank is listening, don't sell me stuff that costs me money. My one man shop has a small profit margin and many years, no profit. So unnecessary costs are quickly apparent. Make sure your bankers know what works for the small business customer, we need more banks to buy into this.

Multiple inexcusably bad experiences here; 1) Tried to…read morechange to this specific branch. I opened a checking account in the 5 figures. My personal checks took too long to arrive, so I called customer service. The woman rudely insisted three times that I had to provide her with my FULL social security number to get help. She told me I could not get help with just the last 4 digits, my address, number, full name, etc. I then told her I was recording the call and asked for her full name and the full name of her supervisor. She then admitted she could help me with the last 4 digits of my social security number. She eventually tracked my personal checks and admitted they had been sent to the address of one of the tellers at this branch. I closed the account, leaving only my mortgage with US Bank. 2) I went to this branch recently to pay into my principal in the 5 digits range. I had my checkbook on the counter. Somehow they made the assumption that I had that much cash to apply to my principal-only payment. I was given a BS excuse as to why that assumption happened and so tried to go ahead with the payment. Somehow, they couldn't find me in their computer. I then related my previous experience there and the teller/manager tried to assert that what happened before probably removed my records from their data system. More baloney. This is a bad place. I've had very few dealings with this bank and only my 10K principal-only payment a few months ago went well. All else verges on ineptitude, deception, or possibly attempted criminality. How could my checks have been sent to the teller who opened my fat checking account? Why did the customer service staff fish for my full social security number? Why is it that such a high percentage of my interactions with this bank were awful?
