My own hair was coming out of the braids, it looked like my hair was a few weeks old and I just finished getting my hair done. They have children running all over the place, and pregnant women braiding hair looking like they don't want to be there. AWKWARD! My stylist name was Lily, who was pregnant. She had to constantly take breaks and on top of that she kept on huffing and puffing while she was braiding my hair--making me feel really uncomfortable. Take my word for it, do not go here!

I usually wash my hair myself weekly and do my own blow outs for the fear my hair would be damaged at a salon chosen at random. I see a professional at home stylist every 2 months. I decided to give Impact another visit after transitioning natural for 9 months. Mirelly still has her parrot Angel who says hello, how are you? I have had relaxers, wash and sets and blow outs here. Time and Time again, they never disappoint. The salon products they use are compatible with my hair texture. My hair is never dry, fried or Frizzy. Mirelly knows how to press and flat iron natural hair so that it is in sync with the rest of the hair. I currently have Brazilian body wave hair extensions and this was the 1st time while at a salon, that I was completely pleased with how thorough my hair was washed. When u wash hair extensions they should be spic and span. No build up or residue. Impact has left a lasting impact on me and I will be back for in between maintenance.

First of all there's 3 ladies there and not 1 speaks English. And Im not hating on that but they don't even understand what I'm asking for. It's okay. I showed them a picture of what I wanted. I don't know how else I can explain this. The blow out was terrible she was putting too much heat at my scalp felt like it's catching on fire. When she's done and I check the mirror it's nothing like I asked. Come on it's a simple blowout with light curls. She gave me super super curls. Told her can you please brush. She doesn't understand. Fine. I google translated to her. "Can you brush?" She gets upset and then starts saying something in Spanish, which I don't understand. I show her the pic AGAIN. And I tell her it's NOT SAME. TOO MUCH CURL. He gets mad rough starts scarring my face trying to move hair not once like 4 times. Okay. Cool. When I go to pay. They are like it's $45. On their website it says $35. On their board it says $35. When I walked in one of the ladies said $35. But now it's $45 I asked why? It says $35 they pretending not to hear. At this point I'm too tired for this shit. I paid and got out. Ladies just avoid this place. If u do go. God bless you and good luck

Fast forward to Saturday, we go to get our haircuts and instead of paying $65, I was charged $135 for services I did not request. I feel robbed and taken advantage of for not being communicated what services were and weren't included. I had initially only brought $80 (cash) with me to pay for my bills.I felt humiliated to see I hadn't brought enough money with me because I was being overcharged for services I did not request. I'm not sure if she only provides lower prices to people she knows and takes advantage of her new clients, because it seems that way, given her comment about a previous customer who was upset and didn't want to pay (seems like foreshadowing to me). As a precaution, make sure you get a price before your services are rendered so you don't get taken advantage of like I did!
