They also recommended we consider Sea Foam to possibly remove buildup in the carburetor. We purchased the Sea Foam and put the recommended amount, letting the mower idle for about 30 minutes. Now I live close by and have had several great interactions with the knowledgeable, friendly and extraordinarily helpful staff of both the power equipment and hardware sides of the store. Last year we bought a zero turn cub and it was a huge purchase for us. From sales to delivery the process was easy peasy. None of that prompted my taking just a little time to write this. It is mid-winter, so the mower is not exactly top of mind. I received a recall notice from Cub Cadet and figured it would be something I would deal with in spring. A week or so goes by and I get a call from Kimps saying that my mower has a recall and asking when I can have it available for them to pick up to handle it. Wow, just wow. Dave gave us (mostly them!) the expert help and insight into getting what we needed. Cuts were needed and needed to be relatively precise. While I was off getting other needs, Dave continued on to the cutting. Both, without even asking for precision were absolutely astonished at just how carefully Dave set up the saw, and checking and rechecking measurements with a precise eye as keen as if this was his own project. When we got home, he was DEAD ON THE MONEY with the cuts (tolerances well within a 16th of an inch). Dave's colleagues were also very helpful in the moving and loading of our materials - taking extreme care with both our vehicles and the materials. YOU ROCK, DAVE Z!

A female employee informed us that they just had one returned by someone but it's the larger Predator 3500 which was really expensive. I asked if could get a discount for it being a return and she said, No it was never taken out of the box and everything is in the box. She stated, it was inspected and never used. After looking at it we decided to purchase it. We asked the guy at the register if I needed to buy oil, so he asked that same female employee who stated no there is oil in the box. We go buy gas and get to Legend Lake. It night, no lights other than flashlights and were trying to get our camp gear and pop up together. I get the generator out in excitement, ready to light the place up! Check the oil dipstick and its wet, empty but wet. Feel it and its oil, how could there be oil on it but it was never taken out of the box? Smell the gas taken and there was definitely gas in it before. The gas odor was strong. The bottom of the tank even looked wet. Remember we have gas but we were told oil was in the box, well there is no oil in the box for the generator that supposedly was never taken out of the box. The nearest gas station is closed, so we had to leave our stuff and drive 30 minutes away to find a open store. Not cool at all! I trusted the employee and I should not have!

We stopped in the other day for some pavers for a little project of mine and to look at other items we may need eventually. What was great was all the possibilities they pose for you in the section with bricks and stone. We got a couple of different ideas just from looking at some of the examples. It really opened my mind up to the possibilities and the ease of building them, which was pointed out in the explanations. I just always thought I would have to hire someone but that is simply not the case. The options available really helped as well. I am going to build a little border wall around our front tree and fill it in. I just thought this would be nice and would serve as a place to feed the rabbits that have been coming by most nights. There were some different colored bricks there, they were made to fit into a circular pattern and look right, without gaps. That was a relief. Then I considered mulch or stone. They had many types of mulch of varying colors as well as stone. They even had, I believe, it was some type of fragrant, fibrous shell (cocoa?) as a filler. Whatever it was, it smelled really good! I chose the "white beach rock" with gray bricks, so when the rabbits stop in at night to eat, they will pop out in the dark. This store has nice helpful staff and is clean and organized well. Check it out sometime. You will be surprised by all they have to offer.
