I work nearby, so occasionally my coworkers and I will spend our lunch breaks here.
Firstly, if you get here anywhere between 12-2pm, expect to be waiting for a while. It's always packed and sometimes I find myself standing in a line outside the bakery. It isn't as if they're short staffed. Every time I've gone in there, they have 4-5 people serving. They're just pretty popular, and honestly, I'm not exactly sure why as they sell the same things as most bakeries. I'm guessing location?
During the quiet periods (which I've only seen a couple times!), it's quick and easy to get what you want. As a vegan, I haven't ordered food here or even asked about vegan options, as I don't feel brave enough to ask! It's normally too busy and I feel like everyone just wants to get in, get what they want ASAP and leave. I normally just buy a cool drink and sneak my own lunch and eat it outside under the shelter. My coworkers always get their own rolls made (you can ask for the smaller round rolls if you'd prefer a smaller option to the foot longs). Vegetarians have plenty of options.
The reason why I'm rating it 3/5 is because the standing area is tiny inside. The staff have always been nice, but it's just way too busy and crowded. read more
