We ordered the 2 windows, waited 6 weeks and they came and installed them. But instead of leaving our Pella windows they took them. I called the business immediately and asked Jerri to please put our name on our windows as we wanted them back. They were perfectly good triple sealed windows. She said she would take care of that and call us back. She never called back, so I called her back. She said she had text me which she had, but being in the elderly spectrum we were expecting a phone call. She had Everett talk to us about saving the windows and to come out and take very sharpedges off of the lift bar of both windows. He said he would call us back with a schedule date and to find out about our windows. He never did. A week later week called again. We spoke with Mathew. He said he was going to call us back when he found out windows. I also told him I was very disappointed in the quality if the windows and would probably never use them again. (My father was a builder and I have a great deal of knowledge in this area). Mathew said they called to set up an appointment but we didn't answer. I said why didn't you leave a message, we have an answering machine. He had n o answer for this. Finally they called scheduled a appointment to buff out the sharp edges. They were a no show for that day and did not call us to say they were m=not coming. They rescheduled. The day before they called to let us know that they were coming. My husband asked if they had our windows and Everett said yes they had them and he would bring them to us. Upon his arrival we asked about our windows and he became a bit upset by us asking and said that our windows were put in the dumpster and taken to the dump. We never told them, to take our windows away. We had another use for them but they took it upon themselves to take (steal) our perfectly good windows. I feel like we were taken advantage of because of our age, and I feel they stole from us. I feel they were very shady when dealing with us and want to warn the public about this company.

The quality of the windows, as far as I can see at this point is just fine, time will tell, I guess. The install crew was great, punctual, friendly, answered all my questions, and did good work as far as I can see. The issue was between the salesman and the office with scheduling and time frame. The salesman left me with the impression that 6-8 weeks from the time of entering the contract until the windows were installed was the expected time frame. Two weeks after signing contract and paying 50%, I still hadn't been called to set up an appointment for measuring (which needed to be done prior to ordering my windows). When I called them, I was told that they were busy and would be calling me soon, but not to worry because me not getting my windows measured would not affect the install date. Well, being that they cannot install windows they don't have and they won't get windows that are not ordered, and they can't be ordered until they are measured tells me that is not quite true. It took a couple of more weeks after that to get them out to measure. In my many calls to the office for updates, I received a couple of promises to find out and call me back and did not receive said call backs when promised. Our contract was signed and payment made on 8/24/24. All windows except for one mis-measured and one damaged (they had to be re-ordered) were installed on 12/9/24 (15 weeks after being told 6-8) and the last two on 1/15/25. Had I known how long it would have taken, I may or may not have still used Window World. Had I been treated by the office staff like my business was important to them, my review would have been different. Our next project is doors. Guess who will NOT be getting a chance to give us a quote on that one.....

In 2008 we hired National Window and Door to replace 16 windows in our 25 year-old home. The job…read morecost about $5000. Installation took two days. The installers were short tempered and complained that the windows were sized incorrectly. The job looked good from the ground when it was finished. We paid the company and parted ways. Two years later we decided to re-side the house and found numerous problems with the install. The most egregious was how they compromised the structure of the house by cutting out the jack studs (structural members) in several rough openings to allow the incorrectly sized windows to fit. As a result, a few of the headers (beams holding up the roof) pulled into the window opening. Pictures of the cut jack studs and resulting damage are available in our Angie's List review, or from me on request. We hired an engineer to consult on the fix. When we confronted National Window and Door about the problems with the install, we got nothing but a run-around. If you hire this company, please pull your own building permit and have the building official check their work. They can't be trusted.

I was given "touch up" paint but was just informed today by the manager Jimmy, that the paint is not for scratches. Since I'm not a professional painter or door installer, I did not know this nor should I have to. Jimmy was deeply unprofessional and defensive and continuously spoke over me. We got all of our windows from them 22 years ago and they were great. I don't know what's happened to this local company, but it's a shame. I'm going to use Lowe's or Home Depot from now on.
