This was a small restaurant that we visited after an arduous trek up and down a mountain, and then a further trek looking for a place that happened to dispense money (because, in Germany, cash is king). Anyway, after wandering past a couple of dodgy looking places in Konigswinter, we dediced to stop of here. It was okay, and I ended up having the schnitzel, while my brother had something with chicken in it. The service wasn't bad, and the place itself wasn't too crowded. We found this place by chance. We ordered sausage plate and breaded fried chicken plate. Both plates were delicious. The service was great. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. She explained the plates before we ordered. read more

Yes the novelty name brought me here. Happy?…read more This is basically a sports bar; the perfect place in Bonn to come and watch the Bundesliga. But it also felt like it might have something to offer even if there was nothing to watch. There were a couple of interesting beers for example (the Astra Urtyp (which means prototype!) was pretty nice. Unfortunately they had the horrible electronic darts machines you find around Germany - they have three in fact! I'd be interested to see what it was like on a normal night.
