I used to have a Hasty Market a block away from where I used to live in the Beaches. It went away at least a decade or so ago. I decided to relive my teens by dropping by this store and checking it out. I said hi to the man at the counter. He was the only person working on Saturday afternoon and seemed pleasant. My original thought was to find a breakfast sandwich to consume the following day, but I didn't see anything. The sandwich section was slim pickings. I did enjoy looking at the beverages. It carries Slush Puppies, which made me smile. Blueberry, cherry, and cream soda were the flavour options. I felt like a drink. I spotted a can of Diet Orange Crush in the fridge. Perfect! This store has an extensive ramen section. It was as if someone knew that I was dropping by. Naturally, it's cheaper to get ramen at a major grocery store. However, if you are a local who just can't get to one, heading over here is not a bad idea. I paid for my drink with cash. It came up to $1.25. That's not bad. There is parking. It is limited given how small this plaza is. I'm glad that I visited. I'd like to try the cream soda Slush Puppie the next time I'm here. (78)

They have all the items carried by Circle K including lotteries. I didn't find an ATM. The store is not big enough to have their Froster and  Polar Pop; they have a smaller version with fewer flavour choices. The staff is courteous. If you pay for 25L+ gas inside the store, instead of at the pump, you get a free bottle of water. There is no free WiFi. The store is wheelchair accessible. We stopped by on a Monday afternoon and got our obligatory pictures. We then went in and got some snacks and while were were checking out the man behind the counter asked if we had seen the show, we said yes and he invited us to take pictures of the staff with cast members and even gave us reusable totes! It was such an awesome little stop and I am so glad we did!

This convenience store is attached to a Petro Canada 24/7 gas station. It is an average size store,…read morebrightly lit, and tidy. They accept the Petro Points card to earn points for purchases. Look for food and drink specials when buying items. They have your regular snacks, refrigerated drinks, ice bags, coffee area, and some car cleaners. They also sell lottery tickets (they accept use of credits to buy the lottery tickets). The cashier is very cordial. During pandemic times, staff wear masks and customers have to wear masks. There is plexiglass at the cash register. There is no free WiFi. It is wheelchair accessible. I didn't check if there were washrooms. I am now in my 30's and while I no longer live in the area I still come back every now and then. The family owned and run store is the best, and the people are friendly . When I was 10 I tripped over a curb infront of the store and hit my head splitting it open. The owner came out and took me inside and held a towel on my head until I was taken to the hospital. Generally caring people that have been in the community for a long time. While the area has changed a lot and the people in the area are not the same this store and the owners have not changed.

Unfortunately, the ski mask I purchased ripped while putting it on. The next morning, I returned for an exchange or refund, but the young lady working there was extremely rude and unhelpful. She claimed it was my fault and that they aren't responsible once the product leaves the store since it was made in a different warehouse. Despite the products not being made by the shop, I believe they should stand by their merchandise and provide better customer service, such as offering refunds or exchanges. I wouldn't recommend this shop due to the unpleasant experience, especially with the woman working there. She was very rude and nonchalant. Shop elsewhere!
