The bakery is pretty decent as well. You can find more exotic fruits and vegetables here but they can be very pricey. You can also find some snacks from other countries that you wouldn't normally be able to find elsewhere. The service at checkout is not the greatest. They always seem to have an attitude for no reason. But the sushi and the hit bar keeps me coming back.

There's a big parking lot out front which is shared with the Rexall next door. This Farm Boy is set up much like the other ones I've been to. The entrance opens up into the produce section. Towards the back of the store is the butcher's counter and seafood. Then on the far side of the store are the hot foods with check out counters in the front. We came here especially to look at their fresh soups. I was really hoping for a clam chowder on that day but no luck. They did have a ton of other flavours including Tom Yum, butternut squash, minestrone, chicken noodle soup, and a broccoli cheddar. The soups are slightly varying sizes and prices. We also happened to walk by where their rotisserie chickens were and they smelled so good I couldn't resist but pick one up for dinner. They are a little pricier than what you'd get at Metro or Costco, ringing in at $11.99 before tax. Very tasty and not dry at all though! They had a lot of lanes open at check out. I was waved over quickly by someone that was working there and they were very polite and efficient. A simple and easy trip to the grocery store which is all I could really ask for.

I had some female start telling me how Trump needed to be murdered while I was doing the self-checkout. Apparently she was "managing the self-checkout", we had never spoken before we weren't speaking then she just randomly started telling me really upsetting things about killing people while I was doing her job that she was getting paid to do (?) Imagine you are packing your own groceries while a "cashier" who was being paid to help you/do the job was instead standing beside you talking about killing people. Then there's the manager who I had to overhear bashing men and marriage and telling her employees to not ever get married. The most uncomfortable top-of-her-lungs-so-everyone-heard conversation while I was trying to discuss things with the butcher boys. Which brings me to today. The butcher guys were giving me free scrap/cut offs, the unsellable scrap they throw away each day they gave me a small pack for my dogs every few days and in return I did my shopping there. The females have today decided to LECTURE the butcher guys and now CHARGE PEOPLE for the scraps that they throw away btw I have this relationship with both Metro and Fortinos and I have for years with never any issue.
