The staff is pretty hit or miss though, sometimes you get a friendly local who is happy to help, other times the employees are unable or unwilling to offer any customer service at all. This coupled with the pretty consistently sketchy crowd that seems to loiter outside at all times of the day and night seems to be the main pitfall of this location. Too bad too, its among my favourite of the few locations in the city.

The store had a way of getting great watermelons. During 2019 and 2020 the Longos was part of my jogging route. I would go up Glen Erin and pass by Longos the way back for a cake sample around d 8-9am. The store usually have the one-off item on sale. They also run some great seasonal sales like corn, gala apples and seafood. As of late still not a fan of the single serve desserts. They used to make it in-house which was more handcrafted, now they sell the premade defrost and serve. Cakes are made from supplier batter and assembled. So you make your choice if you want to eat it. #ThankyouThursday
