These folks are great. Everyone's super friendly and super enthusiastic about your teeth. That's a breed of enthusiasm you don't find often. It's definitely not one of my favorite activities to have someone poking my gums with needles, but when they do everything to put you at ease about it, it's not so bad. I find myself sometimes almost falling asleep while they work, which is definitely counter to every animal instinct. The enthusiasm extends to Dr. Hsu, who is just super stoked to talk about care regimes. He takes the time to answer your questions, give you suggestions and explain everything. People who are excited about their work are nice to be around, and so I enjoy talking to him. Just a great place all around. They need to fix their intercom, though. It's been just raw blasts of static for years now.

I highly recommend Dr. Kwon for his skill, attention to detail, and most of all for the compassion he has for his patients. Brookline Dental Center is lucky to have him as part of their staff. Dr. Seligman is friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He takes the time to explain thoroughly any existent problems and the solutions to these problems. He always makes sure that the patient is comfortable with the procedure that is to take place. In addition, unlike some dentists, he treats only what is necessary and doesn't try to find additional problems or recommend unnecessary procedures just to make some extra $. You can also be sure that you will only find top-of-the-line technology and treatments at Dr. Seligman's office. I have had a crown done, and the whole process took less than 2 hours from start to finish! It was painless, quick and now no one can tell that the crown is not my actual tooth. Additionally, I have received two meticulously done dental cleanings from two different dental hygienists (Diane and Alina), and as strange as it may sound, but I am looking forward to my next cleanings. She's clinically and technically fantastic, but her bedside manner (chair-side?) is great, too. She's comfortable and natural, but also involves you in your care, showing you what's going (they have a camera to take pics of your teeth so you can see what she's seeing), and helps you make informed decisions about what's best for you. And she's really balanced about it. I've never felt pushed into any decision, and equally never felt like she was too busy to take care of something. If she has time, she gives it to you. And if she doesn't, she and her staff have always been fantastic at figuring something out so you can get it taken care of soon and conveniently. I've been a patient for 7 years. I used to work near her office, so it was convenient, but not anymore. Despite that, I'm happy to make the trek into the city to see Dr. Aiken because I know I'm getting excellent care from someone who cares. I can say that about her staff, too.

While I was with the hygienist cleaning my teeth Dr Aiken came in and asked what was going on-I told her and she said let me take a look. She looked at the area and said i can refer a implant/prosthodontics who is the best. (It was already explained I had seen two dentists and hadn't made a decision) I was charged for a full exam. She offered me a free exam but because of the dental work I'm having done it did not make sense, I would not need an exam for quite some time. I tried reaching out so many times to resolve this but she would not return my calls. Red Flag. Do not go to this dentist. With all of her years of experience she would know she did not give me an exam yet she charged me.
