That wouldn't bug me if it wasn't surgical. Routine fir docs but a big deal for patients. This is why I'll watch medical lectures and read a lot before visits. Some doctors hate that but I would rather be educated than surprised!

I made an appointment on March 2 with SW Boise ENT clinic. The doctor recommended the cat scan and said he would call with results. On Wed, the 3rd of March, I was told by staff that they were waiting on prior authorization. I called Blue Cross and was told I didn't need a referral for this supplemental plan. I called Medicare and they said I did not need prior authorization. Thursday, the 5th of March, I was able to get the cat scan. Today is Tuesday, the 10th of March, 5:10 P.M. the message in the portal showed results were in their office on Saturday. Counting Monday and Tuesday as work days, I hoped the doctor would call with results and the next steps to take. No call. No information and now I have no patience left for the doctor and the scheduling staff besides Amy Lee who went out of her way to get me an appointment for the cat scan. My experience has been awful and I will no longer cross the threshold of their business. Lori

After examining me and taking images, he discovered that my paranasal passages were closing, especially in my right nostril, so he recommended balloon synuplasty I was nervous about it, but as it turns out, I didn't really need to be. They gave me some mild OTC medications to relax me, then numbed the inside of my nasal passages (which was a little uncomfortable, but bearable). After that, I don't recall much. There were clear instructions and downtime needed, plus nasal rinses that needed to be done, etc, afterwards, but nothing too complicated. I was told I may have a nosebleed or two, but I was supposed to be taking it easy, and I went out to play with my dogs. Bad idea. I got a really intense nosebleed that quickly taught me not to do that again. So, if you ever end up getting this procedure....take it easy!!! Dr. Beasley can be a bit dry, but he's kind and wants to help, and he clearly knows what he's doing. I highly recommend him and his team, and will continue to see them, as needed.

He did confirm that the deviated septum surgery I had four years prior by a different ENT Dr. was still unchanged and successful. That was it. He never bothered to ask me if that was all I was there about and he was clearly in a hurry and wanted to move on. His PA was present and after Dr. Beasley left the room, asked if there was anything else. I declined to even discuss anything further since it was clear this was not the Dr. for me. I never expect special treatment nor am I the type of patient that wants to be coddled and fussed over, however, I also don't expect to be treated as if whatever I'm there for is of no consequence and there are other patients higher on the priority list.

Dr. Jones is our family's ENT doctor of choice and has been for 15 years or so. I first saw him…read moremyself when I had a double ear infection, and then hubby saw him for a deviated septum (which Dr. Jones performed the surgery to repair it), a neuralgia, and today for a hearing problem in one ear that ended up being excess wax in his ear. Dr. Jones is what I would call an "old school" doctor, not unlike my grandfather. He has a great bedside manner, answering all our questions without seeming rushed. He is serious, but also a sense of humor. There was one room in his office that had a framed display of many of the things he has pulled out of people's ears, noses, and throats. I wonder if it's still there! It was cool. Today, he took a look in hubby's ears and then took us straight to a procedure room where hubby laid down and Dr. Jones went to work removing the wax from his ear. No wasted time, no unnecessary medications, etc. Before this visit, we hadn't been in for a number of years, and the gals in the front helped us get re-registered. They were very helpful and nice. We would happily recommend Dr. Jones to anyone in need of his services.

I went months trying to figure out how to fix my chronic sinus infections, and he was finally able to give me the proper mix of steroids, antibiotics, Flonase, and nasal irrigations to fix it. Unfortunately, with my biology, my sinus infections came back, and Dr. Boyajian discussed surgery with me. Not once did he force or coerce me to get surgery but did tell me the reality of my situation and in reality... I needed to get surgery to truly stop taking so much medication for the rest of my life. Once I decided surgery was my best option, the process was simple, straightforward, and knowledgeable. I was extremely nervous, but Dr. Boyajian has specialized in sinuses for 30 YEARS, and I felt safe with him performing my surgery. His sinus surgery does not require the stents to be put in (unless extreme circumstances), and I woke up feeling completely fine after the surgery! I only bled for one day and didn't feel any pain through the process. Surgery was on a Thursday, so I took Thursday and Friday off and was back at work by Monday. The only inconvenience is having to irrigate your nose, but it's well worth it if I can avoid the stents. Dr. Boyajian was a great doctor who gave it to me straight and really cares about my well-being. I'm definitely not "just another patient" here. I will be recommending everyone here in the future!

I was "helped" by the rudest and most uncaring office staff I've ever had the displeasure of talking to. He wanted his pain meds refilled 1 day early. I had to call several times and I was lied to and put off each time. Finally they told he had to come in to pick up a paper RX in person-is this soviet Russia? they later relented -aka-did their job and called it in! What a hassle they made it to get a refill 1 day early! They will tell you how many people they are seeing that day and they don't know what to do about your pain. Is that how anyone wants to be treated as a patient? Not me!

I was a patient in years past prior to visiting this location. The doctor was decent, but the…read morenurses and support staff made it a horrible experience. He prescribed a medication that the nurse didn't send to the pharmacy on a Friday afternoon. Once it was finally received, the medication was rejected by my insurance. It wasn't cheap. I called the office and his nurse insisted that I wait for insurance to accept it. This went on for weeks. Even my pharmacist called & tried to explain simple facts to them; the insurance doesn't cover the medication to no avail. Then when I tried to contact the doctor directly via email, the nurse would reply on his behalf. In the end, I gave up trying to get care for a sinus infection and found better at Primary Health. In my opinion, this place is a rat race of unprofessionally incompetence that I don't recommend to anyone!
