Second appointment he was late and so it also felt rushed (in part because I had another appointment scheduled and didn't expect to be there for 1.5 hours) Basically the timing is just off. That wouldn't bug me if it wasn't surgical. Routine fir docs but a big deal for patients. This is why I'll watch medical lectures and read a lot before visits. Some doctors hate that but I would rather be educated than surprised!

I had been referred to SW ENT for an exam and possible CT scan of my sinuses. I had been on 4…read moredifferent antibiotics from Jan. 29 to Feb. 11. I made an appointment on March 2 with SW Boise ENT clinic. The doctor recommended the cat scan and said he would call with results. On Wed, the 3rd of March, I was told by staff that they were waiting on prior authorization. I called Blue Cross and was told I didn't need a referral for this supplemental plan. I called Medicare and they said I did not need prior authorization. Thursday, the 5th of March, I was able to get the cat scan. Today is Tuesday, the 10th of March, 5:10 P.M. the message in the portal showed results were in their office on Saturday. Counting Monday and Tuesday as work days, I hoped the doctor would call with results and the next steps to take. No call. No information and now I have no patience left for the doctor and the scheduling staff besides Amy Lee who went out of her way to get me an appointment for the cat scan. My experience has been awful and I will no longer cross the threshold of their business. Lori

Dr. Jones is our family's ENT doctor of choice and has been for 15 years or so. I first saw him…read moremyself when I had a double ear infection, and then hubby saw him for a deviated septum (which Dr. Jones performed the surgery to repair it), a neuralgia, and today for a hearing problem in one ear that ended up being excess wax in his ear. Dr. Jones is what I would call an "old school" doctor, not unlike my grandfather. He has a great bedside manner, answering all our questions without seeming rushed. He is serious, but also a sense of humor. There was one room in his office that had a framed display of many of the things he has pulled out of people's ears, noses, and throats. I wonder if it's still there! It was cool. Today, he took a look in hubby's ears and then took us straight to a procedure room where hubby laid down and Dr. Jones went to work removing the wax from his ear. No wasted time, no unnecessary medications, etc. Before this visit, we hadn't been in for a number of years, and the gals in the front helped us get re-registered. They were very helpful and nice. We would happily recommend Dr. Jones to anyone in need of his services.

I had to call several times and I was lied to and put off each time. Finally they told he had to come in to pick up a paper RX in person-is this soviet Russia? they later relented -aka-did their job and called it in! What a hassle they made it to get a refill 1 day early! They will tell you how many people they are seeing that day and they don't know what to do about your pain. Is that how anyone wants to be treated as a patient? Not me!

I love my doctor and I get polite lip service from the staff but I've been coming here for three years and every time I get prescription refills I have to call them at least twice this time it's going to be three times to get a the refills to actually go to the pharmacy. That's fundamentally unacceptable. It's such a small item to require and I'm not one to leave angry reviews but how else am I going to get service? I don't know what to do here here. The care quality was fine, the care provider didn't do anything other than recommend drops to buy for the issue. Nothing else. No concerns there or remarks on care quality. My gripe is with billing. We phoned this location a few months later to understand if we should expect additional charges since we had not received anything yet and were told not to worry and that something would be sent out via mail. Got nothing from the billing department via mail. We finally received a bill in 2025 (over a year later since date of the service) which states "expenses were incurred after coverage was terminated". Note that we are on different health insurance now, however I called our previous provider today (Sept. 2025) and they informed they were never billed by Primary Health Group for this visit. Billing statement also includes all our valid health insurance info that we provided at the time of the visit so they do have it and simply didn't bill our insurance provider. Very frustrating that even when (1) we provide all our info up front at time of the visit, (2) phone them months later to follow up about billing, and (3) all our insurance information is listed on the billing statement that Primary Health still can't get it together and bill our insurance. I'd recommend going somewhere that takes the time when seeing you to clearly outline if procedures are extra before you agree.

Dr Crawford has treated me and exceeded my expectations. He is the best ear Dr I have ever seen. He is compassionate, kind and so very knowledgeable. I was a patient in years past prior to visiting this location. The doctor was decent, but the…read morenurses and support staff made it a horrible experience. He prescribed a medication that the nurse didn't send to the pharmacy on a Friday afternoon. Once it was finally received, the medication was rejected by my insurance. It wasn't cheap. I called the office and his nurse insisted that I wait for insurance to accept it. This went on for weeks. Even my pharmacist called & tried to explain simple facts to them; the insurance doesn't cover the medication to no avail. Then when I tried to contact the doctor directly via email, the nurse would reply on his behalf. In the end, I gave up trying to get care for a sinus infection and found better at Primary Health. In my opinion, this place is a rat race of unprofessionally incompetence that I don't recommend to anyone!

She tends to go the backway to treat someone instead of applying the knowledge she should have available to her and get to the bottom of any problems. Well let's try this for awhile and if it doesn't work, I can change it to something else. While all the time, the patient is the one suffering. My goodness she doesn't even want to give cough medicine with codeine in it as she believes you will become addicted to it. Her mannerisms, knowledge, patient care are all to be extremely lacking. I would not recommend her to any person. Remember this is all at the expense of the patient.
