I've been seeing Dr Beck for a couple months now. I have been dealing with chronic pain and various suggested diagnosis of said pain for 14 years. I've been through all the rounds treatments medications physical therapy and yoga that was humanly possible to try. After seeing Dr Beck my life has changed. To wake up in the morning and not feel like you got hit by a truck is kinda huge. He's also very nice to be around and not pushy with all the little extra things which I appreciate. I'm writing this review about two years late, but back when I originally moved to San Rafael in 2018 I decided to get chiropractic help for what felt like a pinched nerve in my left shoulder. I had that annoying pain for about 6 to 8 months prior to going to Dr. Beck. ONE VISIT. One visit was all it took for Dr. Beck to make that lingering muscle pain go away, and I have not had it since. Now anytime a friend or family member complains about muscle or joint pain, I always refer them to a chiropractor first. Sadly I have moved over two hours away, however, I have a wonderful new chiropractor who takes care of me and my little one. Dr. Beck is an unbelievably kind and pleasant man. I recently visited Dr Beck with a shoulder issue caused from a non ergonomic work from home set up. He quickly responded to my appointment request and set up a video consultation to go over my issue. Due to COVID he has enacted some strict visitation guidelines which made me feel safe visiting the office. After my video intake, I got to the office and he did a soft tissue massage and adjustments. I felt better just after my first appointment! I've seen him for follow up visits which continue to improve my shoulder pain and after 5 visits, all of my issues are resolved. His appointment are efficient and have about 15 minutes of hands on work. His office is also very clean and well ventilated. I'd recommend anyone to visit Dr Beck. read more

Dr. Beck is by far the best chiropractor I've ever had. He cares about his patients and in the first visit he really takes the time to get to know all of the aches in your body. I've been to several other chiropractors and consistently with other chiropractors a 15 min appointment usually means an 8 minute appointment or 10 min if you're lucky. With Dr. Beck you get at least 15 min of actual body work and most of the time more. His soft tissue work has tremendously helped my Achilles tendonitis and also several aches that have developed post pregnancy. I like deep pressure and Dr. Beck definitely is in tune to that and my body feels so much better after every appointment. read more

To see Dr. beck and wasn't really happy with my adjustment felt more pain than I did when I went in. Also on another note he does take my insurance and I kind of felt like a red headed step child when I was told that they don't pay him very much and that if I wanted $140 massage that I had to pay for out-of-pocket that he could probably help me with my problem. Dr. Beck is amazing! I was hesitant to go to a chiropractor because I had never been to one. My daughter had been seeing Dr. Beck after experiencing back pain from a car accident. He had helped her so much, and he accepted my insurance, so I went. I was in a lot of pain in my neck, shoulder, and down my arm. I had gone to my primary physician and she had no suggestions. Though I've thought about writing reviews, many times, and have had good occasion to, this experience is the first that actually pushed me to do it. I considered chiropractic for many years. I had sciatic pain as well as severe neck and shoulder pain which was exacerbated by long hours of sitting. I felt out of balance when I walked and often disoriented. My spine had become abnormally curved. I literally thought my body was just kind of broken and I'd never really feel optimum health, again (and I'm only 44). It played on my outlook on life and my sense of well being. I went to two chiropractors, prior to Dr. Beck, and didn't go back to either. The first was a terrible experience; a hard sell by a quack in Corte Madera - you may have seen his manifesto in the Pacific Sun - beware. The second was just fine, but he pushed a long and expensive commitment and course of treatment, and it was more than I was ready to commit to, still not totally convinced that chiropractic was worth the money spent. Recently, our company decided to offer Chiropractic insurance. Dr. Beck was one of the local Chiropractors that accepted it. It's quite a good deal for me, so I figured I had nothing to loose. I'm so glad I went. There was no hard sell. There was nothing complicated, laid out by Dr. Beck. He is easy going and does not come across like a business person. He gladly accepted my insurance. There are no other patients being treated at the same time as you (at least in Terra Linda, not sure about Petaluma). He is in a small office setting. There is one table and it does not feel like a chiro factory. Y The best part? I felt immediate relief, after the first visit. About 15 visits in, I am still in disbelief at how much this has changed my life. My neck and shoulder pain is rare, now. My gait has improved, significantly. I feel an overall enhanced sense of well being. I am ecstatic about it. I will swear by it, now. I cannot recommend Dr. Beck, enough. read more

Dr.Beck/ Jason is my hero! I have chronic back pains for the rest of my life because of a car accident I got in at the beginning of high school. I have literally tried everything for my back; physical therapy, herbal supplements, acupuncture and more. The only time my back is feeling good, where i can do normal activities w/o pain is after seeing Jason on a regular basis. I recently have been having some issues w/ my work and haven't been going. And lord, do i feel the difference. I'm hoping with a new job, I can start going back to see him and get back to better health! I have also had the pleasure of knowing Jason for almost ten years! I have been struggling with neck issues for many years without much relief until I was recommended to see Dr. Beck. He is the only person I have met that has significantly improved my condition. I can tell he has great perceptual ability in how he adjusts my neck and back. It's like he can see and feel where your vertebra need to be and then he places them back in alignment with ease. I would also highly recommend doing his soft tissue therapy in conjunction with the adjustments. This combination seems to really do the trick for me. I am a 68 year old female who struggles with herniated discs as well as arthritis, stenosis and chronic pain in my lower back and hips. I refuse to take the oral mediation which makes me feel terrible but do use Lidoderm patches to numb the pain. I recently came to Petaluma from Philadelphia and was looking for continued chiropractic care to assist me while I reside in this area. I went to Dr. Beck on 1/19/2015 after researching a number of chiropratic health services in the area. Dr. Beck was very professional, informative and an attentive listener. He asked pertinent questions and took a careful medial history. He explained what he thought was currently happening to me based on my complaints and than also shared what he recommended as a treatment plan for me. I felt immediate relief after the first vist and within two more sessions my pain has been reduced where I am off the Lidoderm patches. Recently, I shared with him that I had been advised by an ENT that I needed to seek treatment for TMJ. Dr. Beck shared his view that he felt he could provide service which would help me with my physical complaint. Needless to say, I am currently not seeking dental services for TMJ, since the symptoms have subsided due to his chiropratic intervention. Jason is not only a brilliant chiropractor, but a truly kind and warm hearted guy. I feel very safe in his hands. Recently I developed a jaw/TMJ issue, which had me really alarmed, as I know they are notoriously difficult to treat and can become life-long issues. A doctor's wife warned me to go to a 'real' doctor on this one. I went to Jason and within three sessions I am completely without pain, and I can bite down normally. I had some dental work done and my mouth was in EXTREME pain for days. I did a follow up with my dentist and he ran out of ideas on how to make things better. His last thought was to send me to Dr. Beck to have a procedure done called Myofascial Release. I was game for anything at this point. I have 3 kids and I do not have time to be in pain. So I went that same day, and Dr. Beck advised me that the procedure would be a bit painful and that he hated to start our dr-patient relationship off on such a note. I didn't care, I went through with it. He performed the procedure on me, and I won't lie, it hurt. I even cried. But...the next day the pain was completely gone. I was in total shock. I would have never linked a chiropractor together with pain I was having in my mouth, but it was a godsend. My husband & I continue to be under Dr. Beck's care for our chiropractic needs.
