Drove over an hour to check out all the hype. Wasn't what we were expecting. Food was good and coffee was hot. Cinnamon roll needed more cinnamon but was good. Way Overpriced, nothing at all special. Does not accommodate special requests, such as a dozen bagels. Says they can't sell them that way because the bagels are meant for sandwiches only. Bagels to buy in a bakery shop isn't even a special request. Came in once was warned of over pricing never went back again. read more

Wonderful small bakery in downtown Royston. Order a variety of of cupcakes form the very friendly staff. Prices were reasonable and the cupcakes were great . Big hit at the party . I noticed they have breakfast and lunch . I would love to try breakfast in the future, I'm sure it's as good as it looks. read more

We loved it so much we went back the next day! I took my 6 month old to spend the morning/early afternoon while our family was out tubing and we had an amazing time! The staff were so friendly and welcoming and had the best suggestion for lunch! I ordered an iced vanilla latte with oat milk, a (delicious) danish, cake in a cup that my husband ate later that night, a turkey croissant sandwich, and lemonade! The next day we went back with my husband and had dinner and it was incredible! The steak burger was served on a pretzel brioche bun, my husband got the turkey croissant sandwich and then we had the zuppa toscana soup and it was so good! If you are in the area you have to go!!!! We pass by here every week. Decided to stop for coffee and check out the breakfast biscuits. Delicious! We had coffee and tea and a bacon and cheese biscuit and a bacon, egg and cheese croissant. The staff was friendly and patient as we looked over the menu. The atmosphere is inviting and the decor is interesting to see. The bathroom is an old cooler! Very neat! They had some pastries but after our biscuits we decided to try the pastries another time. We'll be back! ( and I'll get photos next time!) read more

Hubs and I were traveling through and stopped on a whim. They were having a lasagna night special, and it was so good! It's part bakery, coffee cafe, art gallery, and small gift shop. The Shrimp &Grits are Extremely delectable. They are a mix of the best of Charleston & Savannah. The portion size was Amazing. The Shrimp were very tasty and fresh not imported shrimp. It is an adorable cafe with friendly staff and a very cozy home town feel. The desserts are fabulous there are a huge selection. I had the strawberry cake which was moist and delicious. We stopped here on our way back from a day trip since they were open til 8. We got a variety of foods: hamburger, Reuben, coffee, boba, cupcakes and pastry! Everything was so good! Atmosphere laid back and charming. Definitely worth the stop and the staff was tops! There's an art shop next door and connected so nice to walk through the brick archway and browse, sit on sofa and relax. Just a really eclectic, fun local shop. read more

Had lunch in Royston, so decided to have dessert here. Got the strawberry long johns, were good but the inside icing cream had flavor & texture of shortening so took away from the good taste. At 4.50 each was a little disappointing. Will stick with the regular doughnuts next time. read more

I had the pleasure of visiting a local favorite café in the small quiet town of Royston, ga after a Doctors appt. I was greeted immediately by several people bustling about preparing fresh pastries and coffee. Michelle, a young lady explained to me that her mama smoked the corned beef brisket herself out in the back of the store, so how could I not order the sandwich with brisket, sauerkraut and provolone on marbled rye bread with pasta salad. The brownie parfait was fabulous with pudding & whipped cream. I had to wait a moment while checking out because someone ordered a $1,000 worth of chocolate bombs for a wedding. Hmm I supposed that speaks to their following of customers. This is family owned business that has been passed thru the generations. Michelle explained her great grandfather's name is actually BeBop. Their family history was quite fascinating in itself, and their family garden produces a lot of the ingredients used in their sandwiches etc. the small Shop adjoining the cafe sells canned goods from their garden, paintings and sketches from original young artists such as Michelle and others in the community. Well worth the visit, and Michelle was such a jewel. read more

I stumbled upon this place while in the area. I was driving in the downtown area and decided to give it a try. Upon entering I was like wow what a cool place. That's when it went South! The worker was unfriendly and obviously new to this role. I asked for a menu and she looked at me like I was crazy. I selected the todays special a typical Club sandwich and it came with a side of pasta salad. When she processed the order the total was over $24 for a lunch meat sandwich and side of pasta! Absolutely discouraging and not worth it. Patron beware of pricing and rudeness! I'll keep driving by next time. read more

We we're staying at Victoria Bryant State Park and the park host recommended this place. Such a sweet gem in downtown Royston. Staff were super friendly. My husband had the chicken salad on sourdough which was fabulous and I had the smoked salmon bagel, also tasty. Then for dessert we split an eclair, perfect ending. read more

Found this little local spot while visiting Bowman & Royston today! They have great coffee!! I definitely consider myself a picky coffee drinker and this passed my test! They have beautiful homemade cakes/cupcakes and more. I went ahead and tried three different slices of cake to bring home to my family- they are all awesome!! SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS! First time visit today and I can promise as long as I have breath and can walk it will not be the last. The food was perfect! I am a huge fan of the classic Ruben and the one served at Bebop's is very much above average. Found out they brine and smoke their own briskets and based on the taste nothing but love is going into the process. My wife had their Applewood BLT on Sourdough and it was also very very good. After eyeing the home made doughnuts and other such delicacies I settled on a few glazed and two apple fritters. What a delicious treat. My wife even ate a whole fritter and that is rare indeed. I am blessed my daughter is a freshman at the local college and I will be having everything on the menu at least twice before she graduates. Cooked to order 5 egg omelets any time of the day...go smack yourself. More reviews to come! read more

Unbelievable! My family was camping at Victoria Bryant State Park, and we needed a birthday cake to celebrate my wife's birthday. I found BeBop's online. I called in an order for a three layer cake with chocolate icing. The cake was perfect. Everyone in our group raved about the cake. The layers were moist and flavorful, and the icing was the best I have tasted. I give BeBop's my highest recommendation. We live in Lawrenceville (about 1.5 hours from Royston), and I just told my wife I would be willing to make the drive to get another cake from BeBop's. read more

First let me say, this place is clean, clean, clean! And the staff is very friendly and helpful. Their breakfasts and sandwiches are superb - as good as any food I've had in a big city. They serve Jittery Joe's coffee - a perfect brew. They also offer specials. This is an amazing little bistro in the middle of a small town in Georgia. I can't recommend it highly enough. Next time I'll have to try one of their Cake Babies. They looked delicious. read more
