Service was great. Food was not on point. Kimchi soup tasted like tomato soup and was lukewarm. Beef short ribs were warm and tasteless. The banchan (side dishes) also not the best at all. The doslot rice bowl was also mediocre at best. Very disappointing in the food for such a nice looking place.

(top to bottom) Honey KFC, complimentary banchan, and Jajangmyeon (black noodles) - yum!

We were super happy with Bebap! We had the Jajangmyeon (black noodles) - so good! Loaded with veggies, good noodles, and the sauce was great! A little rich though, so glad we shared. Honey KFC - also delicious. I assumed it'd be spicy since it has gochujang but it really wasn't spicy at all. Neither was the kimchi though. I'm used to Korean food lighting fire to my taste buds so it seems like they tone down the spice here which I'm not too mad about. Atmosphere rocked - loved the decor and vibe in there. Some unique drink options and the cocktail we had was fantastic. Complimentary banchan was of course pleasant - my husband who doesn't normally like kimch enjoyed theirs! Service was good, everything was clean. We'll be back!

The food here is solid. It's pretty flavorful and they actually make it spicy if you ask. The service is okay. I ordered online and showed up 15 minutes past when it was supposed to be finished. When I showed up, the entire restaurant was completely empty but they still hadn't even begun working on my order so I ended up having to wait. It is also extremely overpriced in my opinion. I paid ~$23 for the food seen in the picture. It was far too little for what I paid. I'm from Chicago and similar dishes there are less expensive. I would come back here and eat more if it was priced more reasonably. The ambiance in the restaurant is nice. It's decorated well.

What a lovely experience for lunch in Rochester! This spot was on my radar for a new casual lunch bite while I was in town, and I'm so glad I went. AMBIANCE This place is sooo well decorated, with comfy seating and awesome murals + great vibes! SERVICE My service was stand-out exceptional. My waiter was kind, attentive, and was wonderful in accommodating my short time frame for lunch. FOOD I opted for a bite from the lunch menu - a beef bulgogi rice bowl. I loveddd that it came with kimchi and other pickled sides! My only point of feedback would be that without those pickled items, the bowl was just rice and meat. I'd have loved to have a vegetable like green beans or a bit of carrot in the bowl to add color and veg! Or even a touch of fresh herbs. Delish bite for lunch - I'm sure I'll be back next time I'm in town.

So excited Rochester has a cool tasty Korean spot! Service was a 10/10. Very friendly and attentive! Food was fireeee. We got the seafood pancake, Spicy BBQ Pork, Kimchi fried rice, Kimchi stew, and soy glazed pork belly. All dishes were equally delicious. Would love to come back sometime to try their other dishes.

I grew up eating at mom and pop Korean restaurants in the south and was hoping to find one here. The food here was very very bizarre. The banchan was all off--the gamja jorim (potato) was crunchy instead of soft braised, and the bean sprouts were completely unseasoned apart from some oil. I ordered kimchi jjigae and it was bland and oddly thick like a potato soup, with very minimal kimchi. I practically dumped the kimchi banchan into my soup to try to balance it. I did think the restaurant itself was really cute inside and would be good for a date or happy hour with friends. The portions were also appropriate for the price (big, but around $20 for one meal!!!). My friend ordered a fried chicken sandwich which looked good, but if you are expecting authentic Korean food you will be greatly disappointed.

Food was delicious! Service was amazing!! Our server was very nice!! We sat outside and had such a great time. We shared everything and had leftovers! I would love to go here again and try more of the menu!

Got there later in evening- a lovely night and ate outside. It would have been nice if the foursome behind me used their inside voice - but what are you going to do. The kimchi arinchini were good, and actually a little better the next day as leftovers. Large in size, small amount of mozzarella in them. They would have benefited from more kimchi in center. The noodles with vegetables and tofu were also better the next day. Serving size was generous. Service was good. Outdoor space was lovely except for noisy patrons.

Food was plenty! Ordered Kalbi, Bibimbap and Clear soup; and oh boy, were we on a treat. The portions were generous! Written for 2 people but I'd say it's gonna feed more than 2. The clear soup was a huge portion! Service was great and the ambience was nice. Nicely located too!

Ate here a few weeks ago and forgot to drop a review. Pricing $$. A little pricey for me, but worth it to try and see if it's for you. Food was delicious! 8/10 Service 8/10 Restaurant setting was really nice. Not many kids, and seating is pretty comfortable 9/10 Only thing is we came as a group of 6 and each table only gets 3 sides of their pickled veggies. Would have been nice to get a little more on the sides since there's more people but overall a great experience.

Visited the newest addition to the Rochester dining scene with a friend for Saturday lunch. Upon entering, we were immediately seated and greeted with friendly service. Decor was cute and the local artists did a great job. Menu was a more focused, subset of the dinner menu so if you're expecting to try all the dishes, you may consider visiting during dinner. One thing to keep in mind that this is "Korean inspired food," so that was one thing I had to level set with my friend as he was comparing it to what you'd find in the Cities or in Korea. Obviously this is not going to matter if you never had Korean food as it is dependent on any sort of benchmark that you may have. Also, Korean food is some of the cheapest to make, but due to the global influence and cultural export, a lot of these places (outside of OG Korean grandma establishments) are able to command a premium so expect to be paying $15-30 for an individual entree / appetizer that may or may not fill you up Ordered - Japchae (3/5). Friend ordered and it was a bit sweet. There wasn't as much color in terms of veggies (maybe 2-3 strips of carrots?) and the sweet potato noodles were a bit too soggy. A pretty simple dish to make at home (YouTube has some good tutorials) so hopefully a few more iterations and this dish can be improved. - Bibimbap (3.5/5). This was directionally in the right direction in terms of taste, texture, and overall presentation. The red sauce should theoretically be put to the side in case you'd like to control the heat. I did add an extra $5 for the bulgogi (making this dish $25...). If you look at dinner menu, this same dish is $22 + $5 for bulgogi. - Banchan (?). We were confused as we saw the note on top of menu of "one complimentary banchan service per table," but never saw any that arrived. Frankly, we forgot about this aspect of Korean cuisine until we saw other tables with their side dishes... This is a given and should always be refilled at no extra cost especially if you're getting the big margins from the premium pricing - Soju. Ordered some soju. Not giving a rating since it's sourced from a B2B but always goes well with greasy, hearty eats. Overall, this may be a nice option to take your business colleagues, celebrate a milestone, or escape for a date night. Food wise - there's opportunities to elevate its flavors. Cheers.

Great concept, beautiful restaurant, they are honest in the name of the restaurant that the Korean aspect is inspired. It's not truly authentic... Service was a little awkward/difficult. One meal came out first the other at least 15 minutes later. Flavors were good, but definitely modified for the midwest palate.

This place is super clean and cozy. The service was top notch, above and beyond. I had the pork dumplings, beef fried rice and black sesame seed ice cream. All were beyond my expectations and I have leftovers enough for at least two more meals.

    Bo-Sam shareable meal!

I said what the heck? Who goes to a BBQ place and doesn't order BBQ. Let's leave! Well, perhaps i said it more politely than that. I'm no fool. But we both decided to eat BBQ Pork sandwiches. They came with fries and a bit of coleslaw for you Carolina people who love to pollute your pure BBQ flavor. Okay yeah... I put it on my sandwich too but that don't make it right. There were sauces on the table to use. Wife says the "hot" one... is really hot! Me? I stayed with original and sweet. The sandwiches were excellent. The fries weren't your average fries you get at a fast food joint. They were seasoned well and were perfect with the pork sandwich. As a side note we wanted the ribs but it was lunch time and we didn't want to spend a ton of money on ribs. We wanted to eat light. Lucky for us, it was 1:45 and at 2:00pm Happy Hour started and we could order individual single ribs. Yes, they made us wait. We finished our sandwiches and ordered at 2:01pm. By 2:15 my stomach told me i was full and I no longer wanted ribs.... but... we ordered them so they showed up a minute or so later..... and even though I was full.... man these ribs were amazing. We only got three of them and gosh, you could taste the smoke on them....They weren't fall off the bone tender which some people like but me? I prefer tender but enough to stay on the bone so i can gnaw them off with my teeth.... they were really good. I'll go back again... after 2;00PM..... and order some ribs as an appetizer to eat while i wait on my Broasted Chicken.

We were seated right away. At first, we had one server who took our drink orders and then he got busy with other tables so we were forgotten about for about 10 minutes before ordering. My brother-in-law ordered a 3 course meal off the guest appreciation menu, which was a great deal for $39.00. My husband and I ordered the calamari for an appetizer. This was the only thing we were disappointed with as the aioli had no flavor nor did the calamari. We ordered sushi, the California Roll and Spider Roll, both very delicious. We enjoyed our experience. If ever in the area, we will definitely return!
